About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to stay home alone as a young teen! Growing up, we always had two or three dogs in the house, along with the occasional indoor and outdoor cat. I also grew up around horses and have experience caring for a variety of animals, including some other farm animals. Honestly, chickens scare me the most, but I am up for the challenge! I also work from home a few days each week, which allows me to give pets extra attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I currently work full time, but I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which allows me to spend extra time with your pet throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m available before and after work, meaning your pet would typically only be alone for about eight hours during the workday. I’m also available most weekends and can provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins throughout the day. At this time, I’m only offering care in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I do my best to make pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away by sticking closely to their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I understand every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I adjust my care based on their needs and energy level. About: I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well. I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.

About: I have loved caring for my animals since my youth. As a child, I cared for my neighbors’ pets when my neighbors were away from home.
