On weekdays, I work from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm. On my off days, Monday and Wednesday, I go to school from around 8 am to 11 am. When I am not at school or work, I am usually either doing drop-ins or housesitting! I can do 3 drop-ins a day, but I may not be available if there's a strict time frame (more so for nighttime visits) for when I need to be there. Sometimes I get out of work later than expected. My family has cats, so I can't promise their fur won't travel on me.

When I stay overnight with the animals, I am there when I am not at work or in class. I try not to leave too much so I can keep an eye on them. I'm a bit of a worrywart, and I often stick with the dogs as much as they let me- sometimes I'm more clingy than they are ;) I am nowhere near averse to vomit, pee/poop, and I am willing to clean it up as you see fit!

I would appreciate a detailed list of medications and instructions on how to administer them. I would like to know if your dog is food aggressive (will they growl if I walk by them while they are eating, or if I am nearby?). Do they tend to be escape artists? Anything you find important, just let me know! I would prefer more details, then not enough details!
A typical day
Whatever the parent wants! Whenever I "babysit," I go out and get bakery treats (if allowed) for the dog(s) I am sitting for! I love to go to coffee shops, if my car can manage, and get pup cups! If it's not too hot or too cold, I also love to go for walks. I have experience in social behavior between dogs, so I am comfortable going to the dog park if needed!

Sophie provided great care to our fur babies while we were out of town for the weekend! She was attentive to them, communicated well and sent lots of pictures! I’ve know Sophie for several years and trust her with the care of my pets, which includes special needs/care instructions. We worked together at a dog/cat boarding, grooming and daycare facility and Sophie always provided individualized care and had the best interest of the dogs and cats at heart. She takes direction well and pays attention to pet behavior and will reach out if she suspects something. My pets love Sophie dearly, and I always feel at ease leaving them in her care. ❤️
