About: I grew up with a dog in my home, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Today, my wife and I have two boys and a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so dogs are already a regular part of our family life. As a family, we’ve also helped care for dogs through the Humane Society, which has given us experience with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. We understand that every dog is unique, and we’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and comfort level so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Our goal is to provide reliable, loving, family-style care with plenty of attention, fun, and updates for you along the way Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I work from home and am home most evenings. That gives me flexibility throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins. My wife and I also have a dog of our own, so caring for pets is already part of our normal family rhythm. We’re used to building our day around walks, meals, attention, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and cared for. In our home, we focus on providing a safe, comfortable, family-style environment where pets can feel cared for and relaxed. We’ll follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, crate or sleep preferences, and any special instructions from the owner. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for attention, supervision, potty breaks, and check-ins. We also have a two-year-old mini Australian Labradoodle, so we understand the importance of routine, patience, exercise, and helping dogs feel secure in a home setting. For drop-ins or care in a client’s home, we’ll be respectful of the home and make sure pets have food, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and any needed care based on the owner’s instructions. We’ll also send updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing while they’re away. Before accepting a booking, we like to learn about each pet’s personality, schedule, comfort level, and any important safety details so we can make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Lori watching my dog! A great dog-friendly environment with a huge fenced yard. Plus Lori alleviated any worry I might’ve had right away. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Kristen and Kenneth were great. Our cats were shy and didn’t come out much but were still well cared for and they appreciated the clean water, litter, and full bowls each day.”

“Maggy was amazing with our cat Taco! Taco loves attention and she got it from Maggy. She played with Taco, brushed her, sat with her and watched tv with her (which Taco loves to do with me). Maggy even kept our Christmas tree watered while we were gone and left our sinks dripping water during the below zero night we had. She thought of everything. Thank you Maggy for doing such a wonderful job. We look forward to reuniting you and Taco in 2026.”

“Makayla was rad! Our situation is weird, needed someone to put food out for the ferals we take care of. Makayla kept in great communication and made friends with a couple of the wild beasts too!”

“Having Jennifer drop by to check in on our boys has been a huge relief during our travel! We appreciated the messages about the visits and they looked really happy and comfortable in the photos shared. It was nice to see our cats happy while away. Thanks again Jennifer!!”

About: Hi, my name is Mary and I love dogs! I am an empty-nester and in Feb. of 2017 lost my beloved Tino who was almost 15 yrs old. I have been on Rover since March, 2017 and feel that every dog I have taken care of is an angel sent to me from Tino. :0) I am very active and enjoy walking morning and evening. I work a full time job but now am only in the office 2 days/week. I have a large, fenced in back yard where your dog can play and relax. If they need an afternoon potty break, I can arrange that for an additional fee. I like to watch a couple dogs at time as long as they get along, but can arrange private sittings for an additional fee.

“Gwen is an excellent sitter. She stays in touch and is patient with new pet friends. She was a last minute request and I was so happy to get an experienced person. I would definitely request her again.”

“Brittany cared for my four cats while I was out of town for work, even last minute some days, and was SO accommodating! She not only took care of my boys, she also checked on my house while I was gone too. They fell in love with her and would leave her toys at the door everytime she came over ❤️ I would recommend Brittany for anyone needing their fur babies taken care of! She learned all their personalities, shared stories and pictures with me, and made me feel comfortable being away. 10/10!!”

About: I have firsthand experience providing cat care from kitten to senior ages. Right now, I live this out through caring for my 18-year-old cat. That experience has taught me how important gentle care, attention to behavior changes, medication routines, and creating a calm, comfortable environment can be for older pets. I truly treat every pet like family and focus on making them feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“Sam did exactly as I had hoped and was so sweet and made Barb feel comfortable, which is not an easy thing to do! By extension I felt so comfortable with her in Sam's care. We would love to have her back anytime!”

“Lori did a wonderful job with Cocoa! Cocoa is usually quite reserved, but I could tell from the daily photos that she warmed up to Lori quickly and loved their playtime together. It put me at such ease knowing she was in great hands every day. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of various animals since I was a child. I love big cats and big dogs, but any fur babies will do! One of my cats was diabetic, so we had to give him insulin injections twice a day for years. My Rottweiler that passed away last year had bad hips and so we had to give him pills 3-4 times a day. I’ve also done pet care for friends and family over the years. Taking in their dogs for a few days while they travel, or taking care of their cats while they are in the hospital. I’m a teacher looking for a part time gig to help pay my bills. So while school is in session, my availability will primarily be on the weekends, however, I might be able to squeeze a few weeknights in too! I am only interested in doing walking services and drop ins. I would come by and take your pet on a walk, so they could get fresh air, go potty, and sniff all of the things. Or for a drop in I could do that and check in their food and water, give them snuggles and scratches, and play with them a bit.
“Katie did a great job caring for our two cats while we were away. During the meet and greet, Katie said she got into pet sitting because she wanted to help people. She sure helped us have peace of mind while we were gone and she helped our two cats stay calm while we were away. Thank you, Katie!”

“Alexis is dependable and goes above and beyond when she can. She thinks of things to make the visit better and is intuitive in the questions she asks. I will definitely ask her back.”

“Cannot recommend Samantha enough! For 1st time Rover users, we are SO appreciative of the care and loving she gave our kiddos! Book Sam if you want someone who is detail orientated, a quick communicator, reliable and willing to problem solve. Her thorough written check-ins and plenty of daily photos helped us feel at ease with leaving our pets at home knowing they had someone to care for and play with them! We hope to use Sam in the future 🤩”

“Daisy, my 4-year-old miniature schnauzer, had her first visit to Stan's house for daycare. It was a wonderful time for her. She got along very well with the two other dogs, and she was able to experience for the first time how a "doggy door" works. I'm sure she will get the hang of it with a little more practice. She is already looking forward to her next time at Stan's house. He was very caring and thoughtful as he watched over Daisy for the first time.”

“Kristen and Kenneth were phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better sitter for our dog Ace. They were so welcoming, made sure everyone was a good fit, let us see where the dogs would be and helped us and our boy get acclimated to the environment! They sent updates throughout his stay and sent lots of pictures! I never once worried about Ace (and we often do as he is a very anxious dog)! Not only this, but they helped us pull off an engagement and made accommodations so that the proposal could go perfectly without us having to worry about Ace (: we will 10000% be using them again!”

“Lori was warm and welcoming to my dogs and me. She was flexible with my chaotic day and super easy to work with. I really appreciated her help! Great yard space and secure fence, too!”

“I was so pleased with Mark's care of my dog! I needed a sitter for my dog on very short notice and Mark responded within a few minutes. My dog is also a senior with a few special needs, and Mark was able to care for her with ease, giving me peace of mind. Throughout her time with Mark, I received periodic photos & videos, so I knew my pet was in great hands!”

About: I grew up taking care of several cats, and as a mom I helped my 4 daughters raise and train for obedience 3 dogs. Recently, I worked for 3 years at a (small animal & equestrian) veterinarian clinic in the front office. I take care of walking, feeding, and loving on my neighbors’ pets on a regular basis. My day job is somewhat flexible on start and end times, most afternoons I work from home and I can fit in breaks when neeeded I will adapt to your pet’s personality and level of desire for interaction. When taking your pet out, I am mindful of whether or not to let them interact with other pets and people.
“Mary was absolutely wonderful! My doggos ended up getting a little sick and she kept me informed all along the way. She always sent photos, and treated them like a member of her family and her own children. Will certainly use her again as I feel I 100% found a long term dog sitter when I need it!”

“Amy and Caleb T. are a couple of rock stars in the pet care industry. I truly appreciate the clear communication they provided from the beginning. They were able to accommodate my dog and me on short notice. Even on a few days’ notice, we were able to have a quick meet-and-greet, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. I also appreciate the pictures they sent me during my trip, which made me feel at ease knowing that my dog was having a great time with them. I definitely plan to book with them in the future because of their exceptional service. From any concerns they may have had to the fun-loving pictures they sent me, everything was great. Thank you all so much for taking care of my boy.”

“Jurnee A FIVE STAR Rover Dog Sitter. Highly recommend. Our first stay over for our Toby since we just moved to Whitestown IN. A very nice and kind sitter. Our Toby loved playing with her dog-friendly puppies. Blessings Steve & Debi”

“I can’t recommend her enough! She was so sweet and kept me updated the entire time with tons of pictures and messages. Cooper had an absolute blast at her house, especially playing with her dog. It made me feel so comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Tracy was fantastic. Our dog got sick with bladder stones and she was willing to take him to the vet and administer meds for him. She was responsive, kind, and took a ton of photos while we were gone. Would highly recommend.”
