Mochi can be nervous around new people and dogs, and Lee made sure she was comfortable and safe in her care. Lee is also super communicative and responsive, and easy to work with. “Alexandra was an incredible pet sitter for my almost 3-year-old mini bull terrier. Alexandra is a clear communicator, proactive, kind, responsible, attentive, and loves animals. My dog stayed with Alexandra and her two kiddos for 5 days/nights, and I was able to fully enjoy my vacation because of Alexandra's excellent communication. She kept me updated and texted me each day before I had a chance to worry about anything (after all, she was caring for my fur baby!). I felt at ease knowing that my pup was in loving and attentive hands, and I could text any time I felt the need. My dog is super friendly and also has some behavior quirks. She can get overexcited, and Alexandra had no problem following all the care instructions. She noticed my dog's comfort or discomfort and ensured she got what she needed. When I picked up my pup, she was quite content and even gave Alexandra a little lick goodbye, which told me even more about the care Alexandra and her family gave my little one. So many thanks, and I will definitely book again!!”

“Karen is a lovely human and a dedicated dog lover. We adopted a hound last July and she has had a few challenges, so we looked for a boarding option that would be a positive experience for our dog while also providing enough supervision and calm attentive care so she would feel comfortable. Our pup has become very attached to me because of the many times she was abandoned, so it really took a special touch to help her feel safe right away. Karen’s dog Ginsburg became her pal, and they spent hours basking in the sun on the deck in the backyard. When our pup came home after staying with Karen she was happy and calm, with no added nervousness or reactivity after the change. From our first meeting when Karen and Ginsburg met us for a walk Karen was also a wonderful resource, sharing helpful ideas after listening closely to our specific challenges with our sweet sensitive hound. After our first meeting I asked if we could meet a second time and Karen suggested we meet at her house so I could see how Rosie behaved in her home. This was such a helpful step, and helped me feel comfortable boarding her at Karen’s house. About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

“We had Michelle watch our pups for the weekend on a last minute booking because our previous Rover had to cancel last minute. We were very relieved she took on our two dogs. Michelle was great at communicating with us and sent us pics. Our two doggies looked like they had a fun time and were safe. This was our first boarding experience through Rover and Michelle was a wonderful sitter for us first timers. If we need to book in the future we will definitely try to see if Michelle is available again!”
