“Kind, responsive, and took excellent care of our kitties ?”

“If I could give MORE than 5 stars I would. Natalie was fantastic with my cats, and took special care to make sure both of them were happy and comfortable throughout our trip. She gave us very detailed drop in notes, played with our kitten to wear him out, and treated our special needs older cat with as much care as we would. It's clear she cares for each animal she watches over. Thank you so much again, Natalie!!”

“Ana provided daily updates and adorable pictures that kept me reassured and connected while I was away. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and detailed. It’s clear she loves animals, and my cat came back happy and healthy”

“Alanna was great. A genuinely nice person, and someone I trusted my pets with. She even brought in a package that was delivered by UPS for me. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover with 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and about 3 years caring for my friend’s cats. Whether your pup needs a long walk, your cat needs a quick check-in, or you're heading out of town, I provide attentive, personalized care you can count on. I specialize in safe, enjoyable dog walks with a strong focus on leash handling, and environmental awareness, especially around foxtails, bees, and other outdoor hazards. I tailor each walk to your pet’s energy level and comfort, making sure they get the right balance of exercise and affection. I also offer feeding and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. Whether it’s refreshing food and water, giving medications. I’m happy to help keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free while you're away to keep your fur baby safe, happy, and exercised. I also offer plenty of love and attention—belly rubs, cuddles, and playtime are all part of the package! Let’s connect—I’d love to meet your furry family! I plan my schedule around my clients’ needs, whether that’s daily walks, morning or evening drop-ins. I space out visits to make sure I’m never rushed and each pet gets the full attention they deserve. I treat this like a real job (because it is!) and I take pride in being on time, dependable, and available when needed, including weekends and holidays. My routine is flexible, so I can adjust to meet your pet’s schedule—early mornings, midday visits, or evening care, whatever works best for them. Caring for animals is something I love, and I’ve built my lifestyle around it. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space—and your pet—with the same respect and attention I’d give my own. I follow your instructions closely to maintain your pet’s routine and environment, so they feel safe and secure while you're away. Here’s what you can expect: 🐾 Routine & Comfort: I stick to your pet’s feeding schedule, walk times, medication routines, and preferred play or cuddle habits. Familiar routines help reduce anxiety and keep them happy. 🐾 Clean & Tidy: I make sure water bowls are fresh, litter boxes and potty areas are clean, and any messes are tidied up. I leave your home as I found it. 🐾 Safety First: I’m always alert for hazards (like doors left ajar, bees, foxtails, outdoor dangers, or signs of illness) and will contact you immediately if anything seems off. 🐾 Communication: You’ll get regular updates with photos and notes, so you know your pet is doing well—and maybe even having a little fun without you. 😊 🐾 Respectful Presence: When dropping in I’m discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of your space. Your privacy and your pet’s comfort are always priorities.

“Laura has looked after my cats before and I felt very safe having her drop in on them again while I'm away. She's easy to communicate with and I appreciate the updates and photos of my cats that she sends. I would book with her again in the future.”

“Ellen has been great watching my cat a few times now, always sending updates and giving him lots of care and attention. My kitty also seems more calm after her visits!”

“Grace is a highly professional carer of cats. She is obviously a serious student of feline behavior and she is quick to respond to individual cat needs. Grace has excellent communication skills and she many times went above and beyond the calll of duty, e.g. bringing deliveries in the house. This was my first experience with Rover and because of the excellent exeperience with Grace, I will beome a regular user of this website. Thank you, Rover, for sending Grace to our house.”

“Kristen was amazing! She communicated clearly and consistently. There were always detailed updates and pics of Cheeto and Pain during each check-in. My cats are usually a bit shy around new people, but they warmed up to her surprisingly quickly. It was such a relief knowing they were in good hands while we were on vacation. This was our first time using Rover, and it was a great experience—thanks to Kristen! We’ll definitely be booking with her again for our next trip.”

“Our cat loved her and she took great pictures and care of our precious baby girl while we were gone! Thank you!”

“Robert has built up a connection with Bear and does get with communication.”

About: I love dogs! I have an elder dog and puppy at home so I am able to care for all ages. I am patient with timid dogs. I am eager and excited to help you out in whatever capacity you need. I am a teacher and am currently on summer break. My availability is free for most weekdays. I can assist on weekends if told in advance. I have an elderly dog and a puppy of 8 months. Both dogs are indoor/outdoor dogs. My dogs are potty trained and will alert me when they need to go outside.

“Marilyn was great with taking care of my kitty while I was away. She was honest and very straightforward, and was really good with my cat. She sent videos each day when she came out, which I really appreciate! Thank you!”

“My rescue cat has a great deal of separation anxiety and Susan was SO patient and loving with him. Susan really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and secure while I was away. She even watched his favorite bird videos with him on YouTube! I highly recommend Susan.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own 2 puppies, almost 4 and 2. And helped friends with boarding and grooming. Regularly walk the dogs along the canal. I work from home, with much freedom to come and go. I am open to board, walk, or drop in at any time at the moment. My dogs mostly free roam down stairs. They are trained to go into a crate or play pen when needed. I take them out several times a day and they eat twice a day in the morning and evening.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, but for the last 8 years, I’ve been the sole caregiver to my own dogs. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including seniors—my last dog lived to nearly 19, so I understand the extra love and patience that comes with senior care! I share my home with my husband, Alex, and our sweet 8-year-old Chihuahua mix, Pepper. For any boarding or daycare stays, I always set up a meet and greet in a public space to make sure Pepper and your pup are a good fit first. I offer dog walking, drop-ins, house sitting, boarding, and daycare, with personalized care for each dog. I have experience and am comfortable giving oral medication and I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual routine to help them feel at ease. Whether your dog is energetic, laid-back, shy, or cuddly, I’ll match their energy and make them feel right at home. You’ll also get regular updates and plenty of pictures so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and in good hands. As a fellow pet parent and longtime Rover user myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I truly love animals and treat every dog as if they were my own! I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide dedicated care to your pets. I’m off on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so those days are completely open for dog care, whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your dog company. On the days I do work, I still have plenty of time to give your pet love and attention, with walks and visits built into my routine. We live in a quiet, gated community, which offers a peaceful setting for pets. In my home, I offer a safe, comfortable environment where your pet can feel relaxed and happy. Our community has a fenced dog park along with plenty of grassy areas for play and exercise. There’s also a walking trail nearby, which is perfect for daily walks and exploring. For overnight care or extended stays, I stick to your pet’s routine as much as possible to help them feel at home, and I’ll keep you updated with pictures and messages to make sure you’re comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and my major responsibilities started at about 8 years old. I aided my own senior dog with her health issues as well as my neighbors dog who requires extra medical attention. I am well-versed in dog-breeds and the nature of these animals. I love all dogs and have always been the dog-walker for my neighborhood. I have experience with puppies and am comfortable with large dog breeds. This will most likely be my main job, as I am a university student returning home for the summer. I am super flexible schedule wise and can easily meet any expectations. I have a fenced yard and my own dog who is 10000% dog-friendly. I am used to crate-trained dogs as well as those who may need to be restricted in the house. They will have my full attention no matter the environment to ensure they are well taken care of.

“Mandy has been absolutely amazing! She did not disappoint! She took excellent care of our diabetic cat by sending us recaps of her visit with Sarah (our cat), and photos! I am recommending her to anyone who wants someone kind, caring, compassionate and overall wonderful to take care of your pet with confidence! You will be able to feel a sense of relief while away from your pet!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and I don’t just “watch” pets—I build a relationship with them. My own dog, Gadget, is almost 12 years old, and I’ve been his lifelong best friend, snuggle buddy, walker, and groomer. Whether it’s trail hikes, neighborhood strolls, or indoor games like hide-and-seek, I tailor care to what each dog enjoys most. What makes me different is my calm, caring approach. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to respond to a pet’s needs, not just follow a routine. I believe clear communication, trust, and creating a safe environment are essential to happy pets. From house training to meal routines to peaceful walks, I care for every dog like they’re part of my family—because to me, they are. As a stay-at-home dad, my schedule is flexible day or night and pet care is a natural part of our daily rhythm. I’m available on weekdays, evenings, and weekends to care for your pup with the same attention and love I give my own buddy, Gadget. My two daughters are also part of our pet-loving household—they enjoy going on walks and sharing snuggles with our furry visitors. Whether it’s a calm companion or a playful pup, your dog will be part of a warm, active, and caring environment throughout the day. I’d like to be mindful of creating a safe, trusting, and interactive environment for your pup in your home. I’d like to think I have a great attention to detail and like to keep things organized and clean just the way you need it.
