She took the time to learn his personality, celebrate his milestones, and even pointed out little behaviors that helped me become a better dog owner. “This was my first time leaving Yoshi with a sitter and I was definitely anxious leaving him for 10 days while I was out of the country with family. But from our initial meet-and-greet with Denise at her home, I knew immediately that Yoshi would be well taken care of, and I was right! What reassured me the most was Denise’s gentle and sweet manner - Yoshi warmed up to her immediately. I appreciated that she didn’t require Yoshi be crate trained because he is accustomed to roaming freely in our home. My home has a fenced off area indoors and outdoors to give your dogs plenty of space to roam around and not have to be fully cooped up all day. I will help your dogs have a home away from home. I currently have a full time job, but my job also allows for work from home so my schedule is based on my ability to be home during your pet’s stay. Even if I need to be in office, I can come home during my lunch break for 30 minutes to tend to the dogs. On weekends I will be home and only go out for a few hours at a time for groceries. I am very familiar with crate training and other simple tricks for dogs. I always feed all dogs separately to ensure no food guarding occurs and we monitor the dogs throughout meal time. I am comfortable with feeding basic medications if needed.

About: I had a beagle from age 6 to 22. From 22 to 36 I had a Maine Coon. I currently have 2 cute ginger cats and a fat grey and white cat. Everyone was a rescue! I own a small business and work from home. I can get to your home in the Elk Grove area very easily and quickly to visit with your critters. We prepare fresh meals for our cats. We haver cat backpacks and crates to transport them around. They like to visit outside and pretend they are still wild. One likes to explore. The other two are afraid of their shadows.
