Sam went above and beyond, even rearranging his work schedule to make sure our dogs were well looked after. He maintained their regimented routine, preparing their unique meals twice a day and taking them out for potty breaks and exercise an additional 3-4 times per day. His conscientiousness really showed in everything he did. Sam stayed overnight in our home, ensuring our dogs felt safe, secure, and comfortable in our absence. His communication was excellent—he sent us multiple photo updates throughout each day, which gave us such peace of mind. It was clear from the photos (and when we returned!) that our dogs were happy, calm, and well cared for. Honestly, I don’t think they even realized we were gone! About: I have had four dogs over the years along with over 100 fosters over Covid. Even after Covid, we still take in puppies every once in a while, although recently, we just got a new puppy. I am extremely flexible with my schedule currently , and will be for majority of the summer. I don’t mind housesitting and I don’t mind learning new things to take care of different pets. I also have experience with reptiles as I used to have a bearded dragon. Although, sadly, we had to rehome because of his health issues 🥲. I have no permanent job, although I will be taking time over the summer to spend with my family. All I ask is that you give me a heads up on when and where you need me. Two of my current dogs are very low maintenance, as Rusty has gotten older he has gotten arthritis so we go on as many walks as he can tolerate. Austin is the definition of a couch potato. While Isla hates the leash, but we are training her to comfortable with it. I truly believe that your pet is my pet and I will always take the best care of any and all pets I encounter. I truly love animals and look forward to meeting your best friends.
