When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I follow all feeding, walking, playtime and medication instructions as provided. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise and affection while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior, appetite or energy levels and will promptly communicate any concerns or updates to owners. My goal is to provide reliable, calm and consistent care so your pet feels secure and well cared for in their own familiar space.

Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, allergies or dietary restrictions, medications or medical conditions and any behavioral quirks such as anxiety, reactivity or fears. I also like to understand how they interact with other animals and people, their favorite toys, comfort items and any house rules they’re used to. The more I understand about a pet’s personality and needs ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, consistent and loving care. For everyone’s peace of mind, I also require an emergency contact and preferred veterinarian information in case of urgent or unexpected situations.

I enjoy keeping both dogs and cats happy, active, and engaged through activities tailored to their personality and energy level. For dogs, this may include neighborhood walks, playtime with favorite toys, fetch, gentle training reinforcement and puzzle games. For cats, I provide interactive play with wand toys and laser pointers, treat puzzles, enrichment activities and calm companionship for cuddling or independent play. I always adjust activities to match each pet’s age, comfort level and routine to ensure they feel safe, stimulated and loved.

Kellie is incredibly kind and brought such calm, positive energy from the moment she arrived. Our two Bernese Mountain Dogs and our little Boston, who can be quite standoffish, took to her immediately, which gave us so much comfort. She was truly a blessing, giving us complete peace of mind while we traveled. Coming home to fresh sheets and a tidy home was such a thoughtful touch. She cared for our babies as if they were her own. We are so grateful for her and couldn’t recommend her more highly, she is terrific!
