I would not recommend this sitter for dogs with medical or anxiety-related needs. 1. We specifically agreed at the time of booking that my dog would not be left alone for more than 3–4 hours because of his severe anxiety. Instead, while house-sitting in my home, he left my dog alone for 6–7 hours at a time. 2. My dog’s medication is time-sensitive, yet an adult had to go to my house and wake the sitter up so my dog could receive his medication. 3. I was never told that dogs would not be allowed to sleep in my guest bed with the sitter. My dog always sleeps in bed, there are even dog stairs the sitter was aware of but the sitter tried to have him sleep in a kennel instead. 4. The sitter was coming and going at unreasonable hours, including around 2:00 am. 5. I was later told that he had other clients to care for and couldn’t maintain the 3–4 hour schedule we had already agreed upon. I was out of the country during this stay, and after only two days, I had to contact Rover, cancel the booking, and make other arrangements from overseas. It was an extremely stressful experience.

Samuel was awesome! He showed great attention to my furry ones. He was friendly, kind and truly cared. I’m so glad I got him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Samuel was fantastic! He stayed overnight, followed all of our instructions, and kept us updated with plenty of pictures throughout our trip. He was especially patient and understanding with our new puppy, who is very shy and fearful around new people. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs and will definitely book with Samuel again. Highly recommend!
