About: I am a huge animal lover, in particular, dogs and cats. I enjoy running and would love to have a dog join me for a run during the evening. I owned an Australian Cattle Dog. I do work a full time job Monday through Friday but I am free during the evenings and on weekends to walk or run or sit with your dog. I would also be opened to discuss walking your pet in the early morning depending on the time. I would take care of your dog as if he or she was my own pet. The most experience I have with dogs is owning one and taking care of it. I don’t have any special skills that I can talk about. Thank you I am available in the evenings after 5:30pm and most weekends. Occasionally I am available early mornings during the week. My schedule is very flexible on the weekends. About: I adopted a Maltese poodle mix from a shelter when she was 10 years old and cared for her through her senior years, up to age 17. She came from a rough background and didn't trust anyone at first, so it took real patience to earn that trust. Over time I taught her commands, potty-trained her, and helped her feel safe again through her senior years. That experience taught me how much consistency and gentle patience matter for dogs who need extra support, especially seniors or pups recovering from a hard start. On weekends and holidays I am usually more open/available so can definitely be more flexible! During walks, I'll bring extra water and a small bowl for your pup in case they need it. If you're able to provide potty bags, that's a big help — but if not, I'm happy to bring my own, no problem at all! I always maintain distance between your dog and any others we pass, since you can never predict another dog's temperament or reaction. Your dog's safety is my absolute top priority, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable and secure throughout the walk.

Adisyn was an absolutely ideal dog sitter!! I would recommend her to anyone; she was 11/10. I was extremely anxious about leaving my dog who is very fearful and skiddish, but Adisyn knew just how to take care of her and was very calm and patient and kind. I could tell she had a lot of experience and joy working with dogs. My doggo warmed up to Adisyn right away and even seemed to miss her after I got back! Adisyn kept me updated on how my doggo was doing and followed all instructions very thoroughly. My doggo and I had the best experience with her!

Lindsey did an amazing job taking care of our 3 cats. She took it in stride that Zoe chose to hide under the bed every time she came to feed them. (Of course she came out on the last day.). Buddy chose to hide for several days too, and she spent time in our cluttered basement trying to lay eyes on him. Eventually he softened up though. Sammy was all in from the beginning, and he loves Lindsey. She spent time playing with the two boys, and made sure their wack-a-mole toy was charged up. She very thoughtfully left lights on inside the house for our return, which we greatly appreciated, as our flight was delayed and we didn't get home until 2am. So nice to not come home to a dark house, and everything looked really good. Lindsey is wonderful!

Savannah did an excellent job caring for my senior cat, Phoebe, who has some special medical needs including a daily oral pill. I’m always nervous leaving Phoebe alone overnight, but Savannah’s prompt and thorough communication helped put my mind at ease. She gave her lots of care and attention during her visits with Phoebe and took great care of my home as well. I will definitely rebook with Savannah if we need a sitter in the future!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
