About: I have parented and fostered dogs for 15 years -- they bring me so much joy! I love working with Rover because I want to help families who are in search of great care for their furry family member while they are busy or away. I absolutely adore dogs and how much they are messengers of love and healing to humans in ways that people just can’t. I believe in being service to people and to animals in order to make a difference. In addition to being a foster mom for shelter dogs when time allows, I’m work as an elementary school teacher. I have been a mommy to a Beagle, Springer Spaniel and now a Boxer, Duffy, and 4-pound Chihuahua, Gizmo, who was a foster fail. Sadly, they have all passed the rainbow bridge. I have fostered and sat for many different breeds, large and small. I have worked for a professional dog walker and sitter in the past year prior to me going back to teaching full time and have experience with opening houses to retrieve dogs for walks as well as overnight sits at a client’s home. I also have experience caring for cats as well. In my spare time, I also like to get together with friends for game time, scuba dive and run. While I live in Woodway, TX I can only take overnight sits or drop in visits, at this time. I can also take in mail, water plants, and care for other smaller animals, such as a bunny, gerbil, or lizard, for no extra charge. While I’m caring for your pup, I make sure they are comfortable by giving them the space they need or spending playtime with them. Whatever your dog needs to feel at ease, I always respond in a loving, kind and confident way. My clients love it that I have a heart that cares deeply about animals -- especially dogs -- and I take the responsibility of being the caregiver of their pet very seriously because I know how much my dogs meant to me and my family. I think they also love my flexibility to do whatever it takes to make them and their fur babies comfortable about Rover’s process and services. I am a full time teacher so i am available during weekends and school breaks including parts of the summer. Depending on the need of the animal, I am also open to keeping an animal while i am at work, which is now about usually 9 hours a day. I have an outside kennel available for the backyard in that case if you would like or cats (out of kennel), birds, gerbils, etc..would be inside the house. I follow directions exactly as the client requests. I make sure that your home and pets are secure and cared for at all times, either in my home or yours. I will send you pictures as frequently as you like (usually once a day) and you are free to check in with me while you are away. I will contact you immediately if there are any issues or concerns while your furry family members are in my care!

About: Hey y’all! Im a stay at home mama to 4 (6 and under) kiddos. We live on a fenced 2 acre property that your pup can run and roam right out side Robinson in the Golinda area! I’ve been around and taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. In high school I was certified in animal care and worked at the local animal shelter. I have also professionally groomed dogs (not currently) and I absolutely loved it! I know how stressful it can be and the guilt that can with going on vacation or needing a pet sitter for a short time! Let me help! I would make sure your baby got all the love and the best care while you’re away. Animals are our most precious gifts and our family would treat your fur-baby as our own! I am a full time stay at home mom. I can provide as many walks, cuddles, or play time as your (or their) heart desires! We live on almost 2 acres fully fenced and in our home we let the pets roam! I can send pictures and videos and daily updates of your baby as frequent or non-frequent as you’d like!

“Hailey and I have been together over 10 years now and I’ve never seen someone have a love for all dogs the way she does. The first dog she ever brought home was feral and let’s just say I didn’t know we were getting a dog until I got home and we had a dog. Charlie has been with us for about 9 years now and I wouldn’t change it for the world. That was the beginning of me realizing Hailey had some special power that attracted dogs to her cause it seemed like every trip she made into the world she was calling me asking if she could bring home another dog, which she did but that’s a story for another day. I’m not exaggerating, it was call after call after call of her finding dogs on the street and wanting to care for them. Unfortunately at the time we lived in a small apartment so we were unable to take them all in but boy have times changed. We now have a farm house with 5 acres and this home has become a dog hotel. Seeing how happy it makes Hailey to care for all these dogs even though they aren’t ours puts a smile on my face. I liked dogs before but because of Hailey and how I see her with them I too love our furry friends.”
