About: I am a stay at home homesteader that has three rescue doggos that live inside and a guardian livestock dog that spends her days taking care of the farm. We have hatched, raised and spend our days giving all the snacks to almost 50 chickens, 17 guineas, and 6 ducks. We have 2 goats one of which is about to give us a third. I know how hard it can be the travel with peace of mind without your babies with you, and I’d love to be able to help people enjoy your time away from home. Being able to set my own schedule while caring for other animals will allow me the ability to still care for my own animals without pulling time from them. I will do my very best to keep your fur babies routines exactly the same, and love and care for them like I love and care for my own babies.

Angela took great care of my little girl. She asked great questions to make sure she knew how to care for Quinn best and during the weekend sent lots of pictures and updates. You could tell by the photos how much fun Quinn was having. Definitely would love to have Angela watch Quinn again!

About: I have parented and fostered dogs for 15 years -- they bring me so much joy! I love working with Rover because I want to help families who are in search of great care for their furry family member while they are busy or away. I absolutely adore dogs and how much they are messengers of love and healing to humans in ways that people just can’t. I believe in being service to people and to animals in order to make a difference. In addition to being a foster mom for shelter dogs when time allows, I’m work as an elementary school teacher. I have been a mommy to a Beagle, Springer Spaniel and now a Boxer, Duffy, and 4-pound Chihuahua, Gizmo, who was a foster fail. Sadly, they have all passed the rainbow bridge. I have fostered and sat for many different breeds, large and small. I have worked for a professional dog walker and sitter in the past year prior to me going back to teaching full time and have experience with opening houses to retrieve dogs for walks as well as overnight sits at a client’s home. I also have experience caring for cats as well. In my spare time, I also like to get together with friends for game time, scuba dive and run. While I live in Woodway, TX I can only take overnight sits or drop in visits, at this time. I can also take in mail, water plants, and care for other smaller animals, such as a bunny, gerbil, or lizard, for no extra charge. While I’m caring for your pup, I make sure they are comfortable by giving them the space they need or spending playtime with them. Whatever your dog needs to feel at ease, I always respond in a loving, kind and confident way. My clients love it that I have a heart that cares deeply about animals -- especially dogs -- and I take the responsibility of being the caregiver of their pet very seriously because I know how much my dogs meant to me and my family. I think they also love my flexibility to do whatever it takes to make them and their fur babies comfortable about Rover’s process and services. I am a full time teacher so i am available during weekends and school breaks including parts of the summer. Depending on the need of the animal, I am also open to keeping an animal while i am at work, which is now about usually 9 hours a day. I have an outside kennel available for the backyard in that case if you would like or cats (out of kennel), birds, gerbils, etc..would be inside the house. I follow directions exactly as the client requests. I make sure that your home and pets are secure and cared for at all times, either in my home or yours. I will send you pictures as frequently as you like (usually once a day) and you are free to check in with me while you are away. I will contact you immediately if there are any issues or concerns while your furry family members are in my care!

About: I've lived in a house full of dogs for years so I feel more than qualified to handle a house full of your furry friends or a house with one. I've pet sat for friends and family so I know how important it is your dogs don't feel alone. Nowadays, even with the heat I'm a big fan of taking walks with my dogs. We're both fans of the exercise and I have a small wading pool as a treat after the walk. I normally take them early in the morning or later in the evening when the sun is not at its hottest to protect their feet. I only work part time early mornings so I have a wide open afternoon schedule that is available. I'm willing to be flexible with your schedule. My normal weekly schedule has me available Mondays and Tuesdays after 1pm and Wednesday through Friday I am available after 11am. I'm all about positive reinforcement and love to play with dogs. I understand dogs can get rough and I'm not afraid of their nibbles but I do know how to distract and redirect their attention in the case of extreme rough play. I'm a big fan of treats so I do include treats during my time with dogs. As long as there is a fenced in back yard, I don't like to rely too heavily on a leash but like for the dog to feel free to roam.

About: Want a pet sitter that cares for your pet as much as you do? That’s me! I love animals of all shapes and sizes! Playing, walking, frisbee-ing... all the best parts of my job! I have tons of references and experience! I used to train horses professionally and pet sit on the side! Dog walking shouldn’t be a problem considering my background. I would love to take care of any and all of your pet’s needs! Big or small, I am available and ready to help. Let me know if you have any further questions and I’d be happy to answer them or just to chat and get to know me! Currently, I am a law student on summer break, so my hours are very flexible! School picks back up in September so my availability becomes less flexible for dog walking or drop in visits. Housesitting is flexible, especially if you’re around the Baylor area or Woodway. I do not offer pet services in my own home, however, for pet, sitting or housesitting on your property, I ensure that all instructions are followed, and ask for thorough instructions before taking on the job. It is vitally important for me to understand how you like your property treated as well as your pets.

About: I have always had cats in my life since I can remember. Now I have 3 of my own. 2 inside and one outside. I know how to feed, clean and care for all pets needs. We also now have a dog in our family and he is spoiled rotten. He likes to go on walks, play fetch All of our animals are cared for in the mornings when we wake up. Everyone gets fresh water and food. My long haired cat gets combed daily, medicine in his eyes and eyes cleaned out. By that time it is time to feed everyone I have a fenced yard for my dog and my two cats stay in the house. My outside cat comes in and out all day, eating and playing with the other kitties.

About: Hey there! My name is Gabby and live out in McGregor Tx. Just down the highway from Woodway. My daycare services are perfect for dogs that are not great in a large dog setting and need more personal one to one setting in which they can relax and enjoy their day away from their owners without all the pressure and stress of a multi dog play setting. I have a private backyard with access to long country walks and private walking trails. You can expect your dog to receive a lunch, walk, play time and tons of cuddles upon every stay. Boarders recieve Breakfast and Dinner (owner provided) as well as a snack. I offer regular dog walks and drop ins for the dogs unable to come over personally or who may not be the best in a group. Doggy walks will always be a minimum mile (unless specified otherwise by the owner) and Drop-ins will include poop cleanups, play time and light housework if desired. I can also offer some quick obedience lessons if desired which just includes the basic doggy mind push-ups, sit, down, stay, come repeated a few times. I use positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. Please let me know if your dog has any medical requirements, a special diet or any allergies. I'm able to administer any medications as needed. Also am able to do basic grooming (nails, bathing, genital area clean up, matts). As well as light housework (dishes, laundry, ect.) I'm currently a full time pet mama so my days are spent caring for my own little flock of animals. I currently have my own dog I've trained to be a successful hunting dog as well as fancy chickens that live in the coop in the back. I also have a wide variety of tanked pets including a Leopard Gecko, Texas Rat Snake, Hamster and Betta fish so exotic pet care is also something I can provide for any herp and aquarium owners out there thinking about how they could manage a vacation. I wake up around 5am everyday to walk my Terrier cross and let him stretch his legs first thing. We walk at least a mile before I come home and check on my Chickens, Leopard Gecko, Hamster and Snake. I feed and clean water dishes. Then go and clean the fish tank and use the water to water the garden.

About: Growing up surrounded by animals, I was destined to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. Twenty years later, I've built a rich and varied experience, dividing my time between day and emergency practices. The day practices have given me a solid foundation in routine medical procedures, from drawing blood to conducting routine check-ups. In contrast, the emergency practices have taught me to think on my feet, remaining calm and focused in the face of urgency and uncertainty. Throughout my career, I've developed a special affinity for post-operative care, taking pride in helping animals recover from surgery and return to full health. I've also learned to recognize and address anxiety in animals, using a gentle and compassionate approach to alleviate their stress. Meanwhile, I've honed my technical skills, mastering the art of medication administration and injections with precision and care. Pursuing a PhD degree offers me the privilege of a highly flexible schedule. Unlike a traditional 9-to-5 job, my daily routine is not bound by specific hours. I can choose to work at times that suit me (and your fur babies) best. With a sprawling, fenced-in yard as their playground, my two energetic dogs are never short on adventure. As a fellow dog lover, I'm excited to offer pet care services that cater to your pet's individual needs. Whether you'd prefer me to care for your pet at my home, surrounded by my friendly dogs, or in the comfort of their own home, I'm happy to oblige. From crate-trained companions to free-spirited friends, I've got the experience and patience to make your pet feel at ease. My dogs, with their boundless energy and affectionate nature, are the perfect playmates for your furry friend. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
