“They are fantastic! My pup was well-loved and they were so patient with her! The updates made my time away from my dog much easier. I will definitely be using them again! Highly recommended!”

“My dog was instantly at ease when we arrived. Sam was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. My dog loved it so much that he wanted to go back later that night. Lol”

“I had a family emergency and as we know those aren't exactly planned. I was incredibly stressed to find last minute care for my very large dogs. Andrea and her husband understood my situation and within an hour after booking she took my dogs in. I was nervous to drop them off as I had no time to do research and make sure this was a good fit. I was really just desperate to find care. So as soon as I arrived my dog Immediately took to her. They trotted right into her house like they new where they were going and instantly made themselves at home. I felt relieved because I new that they would be comfortable and safe. My dogs are very spoiled they run my house and my biggest concern with sitters is that not everyone is gonna take of your dogs the way you do. However, I new they would be loved and happy at her home. I can't tell you how much easier my heart felt knowing this was one less thing I had to worry about. She sent me photos and reassured me they were doing great and when I needed to extend my trip a few more days they were able to accommodate me. 10/10 would recommend ?”

“Starlet did an amazing job! She updated me frequently and my dogs seemed to have had a great time. 100% will book again for future trips to Waco! Her home is in a lovely neighborhood as well, which is a huge bonus for me! She had a privacy fenced yard and I felt that my pups were safe with her at her house!”

“Rebecca took care of Scout, our 6yo chocolate lab for 2 weeks while we traveled out of the country. She was very attentive to Scout and sent us daily updates and pics. She has 3 wonderful children who also played and help walk Scout. And her two dogs were very playful and friendly with Scout. We are very grateful to have found Rebecca and will be using her services again.”

“Callie and her dogs are awesome! Our extra large lab and small puppy both had a total blast staying with them for a full week. They swam in the pool, played chase, ran in the field, chewed on bones, played tug-o-war... and loved it! Callie's home and backyard were truly the spa pet vacation. Callie and her dog Cocoa even let our lab sleep in Cocoa's bed. Callie continued the potty trainign with our puppy, and he came home having less accidents that than he did before his stay their. They were home away from home for sure. Thank you so much Callie for taking our boys in and caring for them so well!”
“Very happy with Jessica! She took great care of our dog. He got a lot of exercise and communication was amazing! She made us feel like our dog was in great hands. I recommend Jessica very much and will book again!”

“We love Rebecca! She’s very responsive and easy to work with. We received pictures every day, and we know our dogs were very comfortable and well cared for at their home. Thank you for giving our pups a nice staycation while we were away on vacation!”

“Our other sitter canceled on us last minute and luckily Jessica responded to us right away even though it was so last minute on a holiday weekend. Her whole family was so sweet with our Roxy and we instantly felt at ease when we dropped her off. Highly recommend 👍”

“Let me start of by saying , BOOK WITH AUNTY ! You and your pet ( pup, cat, other ) won’t regret it. Laurinda is super thoughtful all the way from the booking process to my puppy’s stay. She kept me updated throughout Timmy’s stay. She made sure Timmy was ACTIVE by taking him on walks and allowing him to burn some energy. Laurinda made Timmy feel safe and loved! Timmy was allowed to socialize more with other animals. Whenever I am in need of someone to Timmy sit, Laurinda will be the first person I reach out to. 🥳”

“Extremely satisfied with my experience with Lacey and her family. I knew my dog was in good care during her stay and I received daily updates and pictures. Would highly recommended Lacey to watch your fury friends.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Sarah and Baylor. The dogs played well together. Sarah was very responsive to my texts and she even sent pictures of our dog making herself at home. We will be returning to her when schedules allow.”

“My dogs had plenty of socialization with other dogs and people. They had room to run and chase outside. Dustin is very communicative and sent lots of photos and videos. Dogs had fun during their stay with Dustin.”

“Bethany kept our GSP for a full week while we were on vacation. I can’t say enough good things about her. Gunner played in a kiddie pool and sprinkler, went on walks and took naps on the couch. In the many pictures she sent, it looked like he was just part of the family. So thankful to have found Bethany! We highly recommend her!”

“Sheryl was great! I needed a sitter last minute and she was very accommodating. I felt so comfortable leaving Jax there knowing he would get lots of love and attention from her family. I'll definitely use her time and time again!”

About: I have cared for animals my whole life in a variety of settings. I grew up with small, medium, and large dogs and experienced dogs at every stage of life. Since recently moving to Waco for graduate school, I have volunteered 20+ hours at the pet shelter, Pet Circle, working with shelter dogs and even fostering one dog in the short-term. I truly care about all animals and want to help them find and maintain loving and safe homes. From newborn puppies to seniors, large active dogs to small lap dogs, rescuing strays to dog sitting, working with shelter dogs to a mascot, caring for my own dogs to fostering, I have cared for dogs in nearly every setting possible. For the previous four years, I have house-sat for cat and dog households in houses and apartments. I tailor my care to each individual dog, including 30+ minute walks or runs for active dogs, tending to seniors who need oral medications and gentle care, and channeling puppy energy productively. For boarding, I currently live alone in a pet-friendly apartment with no current pets of my own, perfect for dogs who are shy around other pets or children, or those who simply want to be the center of my attention! Caring for pets has always been a part of my life. I'd love the opportunity to lovingly care for your pets! As a current graduate student with a part-time job, I must leave my apartment for 2-5 hours at least once per week day. However, I ensure at least one walk in the morning, midday, and evening per day and 5-6 walks/potty breaks along with a few hours to play in my apartment. Weekends I have more time to devote to your pet. Below breaks down the specifics of my weekly schedule and the expected boarding activity schedule: (**When I am away from my apartment and after the last walk of the evening, your pet will be kenneled. The duration of each walk is 20 minutes to 40 minutes. The duration of each long walk is 40 minutes to over an hour. The duration of a potty break is roughly 5 to 15 minutes. Indoor play time refers to unkenneled, supervised time for your dog to play by itself or with me, or spend time being pet by me.) Monday. Class: 9:15 a.m.-12:05 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.-8:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), two to three afternoon walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.-5 p.m.), and two evening walks/potty breaks (9 p.m.-11 p.m.). Tuesday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one long midday walk (11 a.m.), 3-4 evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (2 p.m. - 11 p.m.). Wednesday. Work: 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30-8:30 a.m.), one to two midday walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Thursday. Class: 8 a.m.-9:20 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Work: 2 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m.), one short midmorning potty break (optional depending upon animal needs, 9:40 a.m.-10:30 a.m.), one short afternoon walk (12:40 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.), two evening walks and indoor play time (7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Friday. Class: 11:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one morning walk (7:30 a.m.), indoor play time and one midmorning walk (8:30 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.), one long afternoon walk (2:40 p.m.), two to three evening walks/potty breaks and indoor play time (4 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Saturday. No Class. Activity Schedule. Flexible according to errand needs. Pets will be given at least 5+ hours of indoor play time, and 5-6 walks/potty breaks throughout the day. One long walk will occur during the day around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given owner's permission, in Woodway Park. Sunday. Personal Time Away: 9 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Activity Schedule: one to two morning walks/potty break (7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m.), four to five afternoon/evening walks/potty breaks, and indoor play time (12:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.). Likely one long walk will occur in the afternoon around the surrounding neighborhood, or, given the owner's permission, in Woodway Park. I live alone in a one-bedroom, pet-friendly apartment with no pets, offering a safe, indoor environment where your dog can be the center of my attention and have their own space. My apartment offers easy outdoor access with a fair amount of green space, perfect for taking your dog on walks and for potty breaks. Additionally, my apartment is a stone's throw from Baylor, so long walks are readily available if your pup requires them. When boarding or housesitting, I ensure dogs receive frequent potty breaks/walks (at least once every 2-5 hours), physical affection, and human play time, depending on each pet's unique needs. My care can change to fit your pet's regular schedule, activity, and diet. For boarding, I require kennel-trained dogs when I am away from home, and I can provide a kennel for a small to medium-sized dog. Likewise, I require the owner to drop off sufficient dog food for the duration of the stay with their pet. Other toys, bowls, beds and leashes are welcome, but not required.

China Spring dog parents share their Rover experiences
Okay, let's talk about Hailey and Jake. I definitely don't have the words to express the gratitude that my family and I have for Hailey and Jake. I left Kenji, my 7 month Siberian Husky, at a stranger's house for the first time to be cared for while I was on a family trip. We couldn't take Kenji with us because of his energy and size, since we were flying to our vacation destination, and it was impossible to bring him along. While searching for someone responsible, I came across Hailey's profile. At first, it was difficult for us, but when I arrived, I met Jake her husband, and he gave me the confidence to leave Kenji, a part of my family, with them. And I don't regret it at all. The care was excellent, with photos like the ones you see here flooding my messages every day, along with updates on how Kenji was doing. There were even videos showing how happy he was every time he went out into the yard to play. To the point that Kenji didn't want to leave! Hailey and Jake truly became part of Kenji's family, and I recommend them 110%. Thank you so much for taking care of Kenji and making him feel right at home.
