“I am new to having my Schnauzer borded, so I was a little apprehensive about the process. After talking to Sarah just a few minutes, she made me very comfortable and the first stay was absolutely perfect for my pup. On the second stay there was a misunderstanding on my part I filled the time to watch him wrong. When I went to drop him off and discuss the visit is when we discovered the discrepancy. I thought I was leaving him for a day and a half. But I had filled out the form just for about 8 hours. Sarah and her family had plans, and now I was in a bind because I had to spend the night in Austin. Sarah stepped up and agreed to watch him for me! I was so grateful, especially because of the reason I had to be in Austin for personal reasons. she is so caring and aware of my situation and saved the day. She also treats my pup like her own, you can tell she cares. Each time he has come home, you can tell he was well treated. She sends pictures and text through out stay keeping me updated on how he is doing. I would recommend Sarah for anyone who needs their pup well taken care of!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter who is new to Rover but not new to caring for dogs. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I also have experience administering medications and am comfortable following detailed feeding, medication, and care routines. My husband and I live on a farm with our 4-year-old female Standard Poodle, Maggie. She is friendly, well trained, and enjoys having other dogs around. Although our yard is not fenced, all dogs are closely supervised outdoors and taken on multiple leashed walks each day. Our property offers plenty of space for safe walks, exploring, and sniffing. I recently completed my PhD at Baylor University and bring responsibility, attention to detail, and reliability to everything I do. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I will treat your dog like part of our family while keeping you updated throughout their stay. I have cared for pets for friends, family, and others since high school, with more regular pet-sitting experience in recent years. Please note that dogs staying in our home must be comfortable using stairs. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am available throughout the day for regular potty breaks, companionship, feeding, medication, and plenty of attention. I already follow a consistent routine with my Standard Poodle, Maggie, including multiple leashed walks each day. Because we live on a farm, visiting dogs also have plenty of opportunities to walk, explore, and sniff while remaining safely supervised. I live in a cozy studio apartment above the garage on our farm, so the indoor space is modest, but dogs have plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, walks, and exploring around the property. I follow each pet’s usual feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routine as closely as possible. I also provide regular photos and updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Hey there! My name is Gabby and live out in McGregor Tx. Just down the highway from Woodway. My daycare services are perfect for dogs that are not great in a large dog setting and need more personal one to one setting in which they can relax and enjoy their day away from their owners without all the pressure and stress of a multi dog play setting. I have a private backyard with access to long country walks and private walking trails. You can expect your dog to receive a lunch, walk, play time and tons of cuddles upon every stay. Boarders recieve Breakfast and Dinner (owner provided) as well as a snack. I offer regular dog walks and drop ins for the dogs unable to come over personally or who may not be the best in a group. Doggy walks will always be a minimum mile (unless specified otherwise by the owner) and Drop-ins will include poop cleanups, play time and light housework if desired. I can also offer some quick obedience lessons if desired which just includes the basic doggy mind push-ups, sit, down, stay, come repeated a few times. I use positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. Please let me know if your dog has any medical requirements, a special diet or any allergies. I'm able to administer any medications as needed. Also am able to do basic grooming (nails, bathing, genital area clean up, matts). As well as light housework (dishes, laundry, ect.) I'm currently a full time pet mama so my days are spent caring for my own little flock of animals. I currently have my own dog I've trained to be a successful hunting dog as well as fancy chickens that live in the coop in the back. I also have a wide variety of tanked pets including a Leopard Gecko, Texas Rat Snake, Hamster and Betta fish so exotic pet care is also something I can provide for any herp and aquarium owners out there thinking about how they could manage a vacation. I wake up around 5am everyday to walk my Terrier cross and let him stretch his legs first thing. We walk at least a mile before I come home and check on my Chickens, Leopard Gecko, Hamster and Snake. I feed and clean water dishes. Then go and clean the fish tank and use the water to water the garden.

From horses and goats on grandma’s farm to parakeets and dogs in my own backyard. I currently have 2 furry friends, one siberian husky who loves a dramatic flare and one yorkshire terrier who, although smaller, is just as mischevious. These pooches are family so I can only make sure that they are well taken care of when I’m gone, which is what all fur parents want, expect and deserve. I hope to provide that same love and care for your own furry friends. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes but am currently limited to only caring for dogs that are 20 lbs max. If need be, I can accommodate the indoor space so that your pooch may remain separate from my indoor dog. Your dog deserves to feel welcome, safe and protected so please feel free to express any concerns you may have. Crate and bed must be provided but fear not, more than enough space is available to accommodate your pup!
