“Alyssa was great! She sent detailed and entertaining updates on our pets, and was communicative of any issues. She sent many pictures showing that everyone was okay and that she was able to give them some love in our absence as well. Everyone was fed, clean, and well taken care of.”

About: Hi, I'm Carlee! I've grown up with a wide variety of animals my entire life and currently have a senior cat and 2 Leopard Geckos of my own. While I have mostly cared for dogs and cats, I also have a lot of experience in caring for reptiles, rodents, and horses, as well as some limited experience with other livestock animals. Due to caring for so many different animals, both my own and others, I believe I'm very adaptable to a wide range of pet personalities, ages and any special needs they may have :) I'm a recent college grad and currently have very flexible availability for both weekdays and weekends. While I would prefer not to do any drop-in visits after 8:30 PM, I'm open to most schedules and willing to work with clients to do visits at times that meet their needs. Making sure that pets owners and pets feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care is a top priority for me and I'm willing to schedule pre-visits where I can get to know your pets and learn more about their care routine. In addition, I'm happy to send pictures, give daily updates, or anything else to help reassure clients that their fur babies are in good hands while they're away. I currently do not offer boarding at my place.

“Sabre is the best! She gave our 2 small dogs and 1 cat the best care while we were on vacation. She played with them, snuggled, and gave them love while we were gone. She even got our shy baby to warm up to her! She is very sweet, professional and willing to work with you to provide the best care your fur babies need ❤️”

“Samuel was assisted by his sister, who handled a couple of the scheduled days. Both of them were great! They had a wonderful attitude and were eager to help when I needed to make occasional small requests or adjustments to my instructions. Very responsive and prompt. I will definitely hire him (or both of them) again!”

About: I have always been the go to person when it comes to pet sitting and dog walking. I have had my own reactive dog for the last 6 years and attend training classes with her every week. Which has helped me learn even more skills when it comes to dog care. I currently only do this. So my schedule is very open. I take my own dog out to play early in the morning because of the summer heat. So once I’ve taken care of mine, I am free! I am comfortable coming to your home. I can either play with your dog at your house, or take them out on a walk. I also love cats and have one of my own. So I am willing to check on cats, give medicine, clean litter boxes, and play.

“Rebecca did an impeccable job of watching my cat, Daisy! Rebecca was responsive and extremely communicative, sent photos and updates with every visit, and overall fantastic to work with. Rebecca followed my instructions perfectly and was a great companion to Daisy while I was away. She also helped clean up after a litter box accident, which I was very appreciative of. I would be delighted to work with Rebecca again and would 100% recommend her services!”

“Jocelyn was wonderful...great communication, very professional and confident. She did a full week of two-a-day visits and was amazingly right on schedule every time. She developed quick rapport with our older dog who can sometimes be quite nervous and fearful of strangers. Lots of pets and love...what else could we (or our dog) ask for. Would definitely contact Jocelyn again.”

About: Hi! I’m Brooke – a Chico State student with a big heart for animals. I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and caring for them feels like second nature. Whether it’s a peaceful walk through Bidwell Park, a splash in the river, or a playful game of fetch , I’m all about keeping your pup happy, healthy, and loved. I meet each dog where they’re at—whether they need a slow stroll, a high-energy hike, or just someone to cuddle with while you’re away. I truly believe dogs are family, and that’s how I treat every pup I care for. My goal? To make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and cared for the same way I would my own dog. I’m also experienced with senior dogs and pups with special needs, and I use only gentle, positive reinforcement to build trust and joy in every interaction. During our meet and greet I would love to go over some commands you use with your dogs so I can use them during my care to better reinforce positive behaviors. A few things I offer: 🐾 Daily adventures, walks, and outdoor play 🐾 Calm, loving care for all ages and energy levels 🐾 Attention to special needs and little quirks 🐾 A warm lap and plenty of belly rubs If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own and make sure their days are full of love and movement, I’d love to connect! I do online school so I am fully available during the week. I work a job at a Cafe in town on the weekends and work mainly early mornings with few afternoons. My hours tend to be short so I have plenty of time to give your furry friend all the love! I dont believe in yelling or ever hitting any pets. I work extensively with my dog to train her with love and kindness. I only act kindly and never aggressive towards any animals

I have a dog that loves too play as well so making friends is never a worry for him. I currently work part time, but after 1pm I am available. I do have some errands I do but doesn’t usually last for more than an hour. I am a student as well and attend online classes on Mondays but it won’t a disturbance. I am available on weekends for boarding or pet sitting at someone’s house as well. I live in a small apartment but have three room in which one isn’t being used. There is a big grassy area behind my apartment that I usually take my dog to and we do lots of long walks. There is plenty of of space for your fur baby and even though I have cats they like to be in one room so they wouldn’t be a bothers

My schedule is built around my passion for animals, and I prioritize hands-on experience outside the classroom. Caring for pets not only fits into my routine it strengthens my understanding of animal behavior, health, and daily needs, preparing me for a future in veterinary medicine. Marissa S.
“To Whom it May Concern, I’m writing to recommend Marissa Sena for employment with your organization. Marissa has worked for me as a trusted pet sitter and house sitter for the past 9 years, during which time she has proven to be one of the most reliable, conscientious, and caring individuals I’ve had the pleasure of hiring. Throughout the years, Marissa has cared for both my cats and dogs, sometimes for extended periods while I was out of town. She has a natural way with animals – calm, loving, and attentive – and my pets were always happy and well cared for in her hands. She handled feeding schedules, medications, exercise, routines, and even unexpected vet visits with professionalism and a clear sense of responsibility. In addition to her excellent animal care, Marissa also took exceptional care of my home. I always returned to a house that was clean, secure and exactly as I left it. She was trustworthy, respectful of privacy and communicates properly and clearly – qualities that are essential when trusting someone with your pets and personal space. Marissa brings a genuine sense of dedication to everything she does, and I have no doubt that she will be an asset to Rover or any team she joins. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional information. Sincerely, Shawna Hambleton”

Sariah P.
“Sariah has taken care of my fur babes for four or five years now. She has been responsible and responsive to my requests, and my girls love her. I have two large dogs and a cat, and Sariah handles them with ease. She also has reliable back up if something comes up, and she lets you know ahead of time. She lets me know if anything seems amiss and we figure out what is going on. I can't say enough good things about her, mainly that I trust her with my critters daytime and overnight. She gets a 12 out of 10 in my ratings.”

Forest H.

“Forest took great care of our cat and sent pictures everyday. I recommend him!”

Haley J.
“Haley for as long as I have known her has always been a dedicated pet/animal lover. All the way back to when she was a little kid she has always taken care of animals whether it was her pet or bottle feeding baby kittens found abandoned with out a mama cat and helping them finding a forever home. In high school she was part of the agriculture program known as the Future Farmers of America (FFA) where she raised 5 animals from pigs, goats and a steer for school projects. Her commitment to animals was recognized by her teachers and classmates and was nominated and elected as a class officer. Now in College she is majoring in Agriculture education with the hopes of one day possibly becoming a High School Agriculture teacher and once again being part of the Future Farmers of America or becoming an Agriculture college professor. Either way she plans on spending her life being part of a community that is dedicate towards helping and caring for animals/pets. I would recommend her to any organization that is involved animals/pets”
