About: I'm Ethan, and I have years of hands-on experience with dogs, including my own well-trained German Shepherd (6 years) and Charcoal Labrador (4 years) who currently live with my parents since I moved out a few months ago. I went through professional training with my German Shepherd when she was a puppy, mastering basic commands, tricks, and good behavior practices. This not only enhanced my dog’s skills but also made me a more effective and patient dog trainer. Daily, I have a flexibly schedule that allows me to care for your pets needs. I often have breaks between work meetings that would allow me to take your dogs on walks, playtime, or feeding them. Evenings and weekends I am also available for longer visits or extended care. When caring for pets in your home I respect your space and follow instructions closely. I am careful to ensure the house/apartment is locked up when I leave. I am typically quick to answer my phone if you have any concerns and need to text or call me.

“I left my cat Achille with Yunghsin while I was on vacation, and she was amazing! She sent me daily photos and updates about how he was doing, which made me feel so reassured and let me truly enjoy my trip. She’s super kind, caring, and clearly loves animals. She even took the time to clean around the litter area on the floor. She’s a wonderful person and very attentive to every detail. I’d highly recommend her to anyone! Thanks again, Yunghsin!!”

“David very clearly LOVES animals. He spent the time to make sure our cats were well loved and cared for and even went out of his way (literally) to make it out to our place over the holiday weekend. I would recommend David for any services you may need!”

About: I've been called to care many different pet personalities. I have trained puppies and young-adult dogs, administered medication to senior and disabled dogs, and have gained the trust of the most anxious pups. I have a passion for providing the best care, whatever the need may be. In my home I have 2 cats, and a dog with epilepsy. I am sensitive the individual needs each animals has within a multi-pet household, and the distinct needs of cats. I am providing pet care services full-time. I am available in the early morning through late evening for drop-in visits and walks. Whether it is a walk, bath, play time, mealtime, or medication - I would be there to assist. I am a student, and have three pets of my own. Building relationships with long-term clients is a huge priority for me. I operate on trust, honestly, and transparency. I know that trusting someone with your pet can be un-nerving, but I hope to alleviate some the stress with the knowledge that they are in good hands. I am available for a meet and greet before any service to personally go over details regarding you pets' care. I do not offer boarding in my home (due to my own pets), but I am available for longer drop-in visits/ stays if needed.

On most days I will be walking dogs in the Pilsen neighborhood Monday through Friday. I also do emergency walks on nights and weekends if need be. About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid, and I have a pet of my own whom I adore. I’ve looked after friends’ pets, including a senior dog with arthritis, so I have experience with both older dogs who need extra care and younger, more playful pups. I also love taking care of cats, I have one myself! With all pets, I try to be as comforting and approachable as possible so they learn to trust me. I’ve been told I have a very calming presence, which animals seem to appreciate! 🇳🇮 También se habla español 🫶🏻 I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks as needed, making pet sitting a great fit for my schedule. While I do have occasional mandatory meetings and events, I’ll always communicate my availability in advance. Overall, I’m flexible on both weekdays and weekends and can accommodate a variety of pet care needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I don’t offer pet care in my home due to my cat’s territorial nature, but I’m always happy to care for pets in their own home. I follow all instructions, keep the environment secure, and provide updates, including pictures, so you can feel confident about your pet’s well-being. Let me know if you prefer not to receive updates, but I find it helps build trust and peace of mind.

About: Hi! My name is Sloane. I live with my husband, 1 cat (Frances), and 1 dog (Fudge) in a 3 bed/2 bath home in Pilsen. Fran and Fudge are very friendly and calm. Fudge is especially good at helping newcomers feel comfortable in a new space. We have a fenced concrete area in the front and back that he loves so much. He likes showing newcomers around his favorite spots. The best part of the neighborhood is an amazing dog park and community green area just down the street. We walk there every day, Fudge plays with a few dogs and we go on a long walk after. I am home everyday and we would love to have your pup part of our pack for however long you need! I've been an animal lover my entire life and really enjoy taking care of them and nurturing them. Animals, especially dogs and cats, are little angels on earth. My family and friends will tell you that I'm a responsible, compassionate, dedicated person who will do what it takes to make sure your pet is receiving the right care. I have experience training dogs and love spending time getting to know their personalities and skills. It’s fun to explore new things for them to learn. Keeping dogs mentally stimulated is important to their overall health and I take that responsibility seriously. Each animal is unique in their needs, and I am very willing to provide specialized care and do all that I can to make sure they feel happy and loved! To me, your pets are not just animals. They are your family members. So I will treat them as such. When your pup boards with me I truly love them. I really enjoy doing this. Think of me like a responsible friend who you can trust to take care of things most precious to you! I am a sociable person, so if you would like to meet and get to know me further, I would be happy to meet for a coffee anytime. I’m currently working part time and have a lot of free time during business hours/weekdays and on the weekend. I am flexible calendar wise. I have my own car and can drive to you or wherever. I can keep your pet mentally stimulated in my or your home and give them all the care they need. I have experience training dogs with basic commands and how to walk on a leash. For boarding, please note that I live with a very friendly adult dog and older cat. If you’d like to board with me please let me know if your dog is ok with other dogs and cats - thank you! They are both loving and friendly animals.

“Allison is wonderful! Very organized and the cats love her! She made me feel that everything was okay while so was traveling for business. I highly recommend her except on the days when I will need her services. :-)”

About: I have grown up having dogs my whole life and love being around them! I've pet sat for friends and family countless times and always have a great time taking care of them. Working from home, I'm able to provide your pup with lots of care and attention. I go on tons of walks daily and am able to take your dog out every 2-4 hours. I live alone and have no pets so your pet will be getting my undivided attention! I have ample room for them to roam around and make sure that they are comfortable as can be :)

About: I grew up with two big dogs who were more than a handful and walked them around my neighborhood when I was younger. When I moved to the city my favorite weekends were when my cousin asked me to dog sit because who doesn't love some puppy love? I am responsible and will treat your dog with the same level of love that I'm sure you treat them yourself. I have experience walking smaller dogs all the way up to big woofers who need a little extra attention. In the past, many of the dogs I've watched haven't been the best with other dogs so I have a lot of experience with taking routes that avoid other dogs and how to manage the situation if we do run into one. I've watched dogs for friends and family members who all have specific instructions for the way their dogs should be handled and I understand the importance of stability in a dog's routine whether at home or when walking! I hope I can meet your lovely furry friends soon!

Chicago dog parents share their Rover experiences
We just had Sarah from Rover look after our three dogs. A senior (17 years young!), a three-year-old, and a puppy. She was fantastic. She was right on time, super reliable, and sent us plenty of pictures so we knew everyone was happy and well taken care of. It’s exactly the kind of peace of mind we were hoping for. We’ll definitely be booking Sarah again!

Tierney is an absolute life saver! I was recommended to her by another Rover on a very short notice. She made herself available to come over and watch my dogs for a couple hours at a time. She was fabulous with my two small dogs and made them comfortable, ensured they had time outside, treats, and cuddles. I am so grateful for Tierney! Can’t wait to use her services again in the future!

Cassandra listens and is trustworthy. We spoke for awhile exchanging dog (pet watching) experiences and I knew I could trust her with my dogs and my home: Her visit consisted of having lockbox access to our house, access to the dogs and returning everything as requested.

Ana was great, she accommodated us with a pretty last minute request. We went out of town and left both our very strong and high energy pittie/staffy pups home alone for the very first time. As you can imagine as a dog parent, that made me a nervous wreck. Ana took great care of our dogs (and cats), and she has been communicative and lovely. She provides plenty of pictures for reassurance and detailed written updates. I am so grateful for Ana making our trip possible!!!

Emilee is excellent! Phoenix really took to her and seemed really comfortable with her. She communicated really well before, during and after the visit so I also felt comfortable with her taking him out. She was on time and followed all the instructions. I would definitely let Emilee take care of Phoenix again and highly recommend her!
