She’s not only responsible and reliable, but also incredibly thoughtful, always going above and beyond to ensure he’s comfortable, healthy, and happy. Whether it's keeping up with his exercise routine, following his specific dietary needs, or simply giving him the affection he craves, Virginia does it all with such warmth and dedication. I never have to worry about a thing when he’s with her. I wholeheartedly recommend Virginia to anyone looking for a loving, dependable, and truly caring pet caretaker!”

7. Kalar R.

“Kalar is AMAZING! We have two 9 year old cats, Tux & Skittles. Tux has diabetes and needs insulin injections twice a day. This was our first time using a paid pet sitter. The first time the cats were cared for by a stranger. Kalar was the absolute BEST choice. Tux is also VERY SPICY. She does not like to be handled by anyone especially strangers. Kalar was so calm and so patient with her. He was also prepared. He brought a bite proof glove. Tux was very stubborn. She hid, scratched hissed and bit. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to give the injection. But he did it each an every time. He was so gentle and patient. Eventually she stopped resisting. She was still not happy about it but she allowed it. She went from hiding hours after he left to coming out within 10 min after he left. Kalar built TRUST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kalar to anyone. He will care for your pets like his own. He is so easy to work with and just the sweetest person. We will definitely be using him again.”

8. Erica W.

About: I've grown up loving and caring for household pets: a German Shepherd (former pet), a Cocker Spaniel/miniature poodle mix (Cockapoo, age 10), and two tabby cats (one age 21, one age 10). Cats and dogs are near and dear to my heart, but, I'm also comfortable caring for, and have owned and cared for, small rodents (hamsters), hermit crabs, and fish. I'm very comfortable walking dogs, making vet visits, adhering to training rules (where they exist), changing cat litter, and feeding pets as often as needed during my care. My personal experience with caring for pets makes me greatly look forward to having the opportunity to spend time with and to care for your furry (or non-furry) family members and I look forward to getting to know them and you! I work remote full-time and have a chihuahua that I take out 3-4 times a day. I can readily accept support typically required for small dogs. At my home, there is a dog relief area on the roof with Astro turf dogs can run around on or relieve themselves on that can be used at any time of day.

9. Nia C.

“Nia is definitely your number one for walks! She was so responsive and gave updates thru the walk! She took care of my boy and we look forward to having her as a regular!”

10. Gem L.
“I recommend Gem for dog sitting! She's taken care of my dog, who can sometimes be difficult, and was so kind and loving. My dog is afraid of thunder and fireworks, and Gem patiently got her to walk nonetheless. Gem also sent me photos of my pooch, which warmed my heart — I could tell my dog was getting lots of snuggles and pets.”

11. Derrick C.
“Derrick would be a great choice when considering a perfect dog sitter/walker. On top of his extensive knowledge of various dog breeds and a zest for learning about many more, he has a genuine love and passion for animals; especially dogs. His attentiveness and approachable presence would put dog owners at ease when leaving them in his care. I have no doubt Derrick would be a great addition to the Rover Team!”

12. Meeka S.

“Meeka was fantastic with our kitties! She even befriended our really shy kitty super quickly - it was impressive! Would definitely recommend her and will be requesting her check ins again 😊”

13. Stacy V.

“Stacy really went above and beyond with caring for our pets. She noticed Nas hadn’t eaten his food one night and she sat with him until he finished all his food. I really appreciated her doing that as he probably noticed after the first night we hadn’t come back home & missed us. Providing our pets with emotional support is something most will not do but Stacy went beyond what was asked.”

14. Nyair W.

“Nyair is the absolute best pet sitter. She watched our cats over Thanksgiving break. We booked 4 days. She was patient, caring, considerate and professional. She is my permanent pet sitter!”

15. Antonella C.
About: I've had pets throughout my whole life and have loved helping my mom and sister caring for the different pets in our home as if they were actual children. My love for animals in general run deep. I can work with dogs and cats! I currently am at home full time, so I am available always at anytime. I am also available to contact (call/text) for info about a possible sitting/ drop in at anytime as well. I'm very loving, attentive, and patient with the pets at my home. I try to keep a look out for any issues at anytime and pick up on their different cues depending on what they want or need.

16. Mika H.
“Mika has taken care of my dog, Indy, multiple times. She loves animals and is extremely knowledgeable about their care. She is kind, trustworthy, and personable. I wholeheartedly recommend her services!”

17. Chelsea S.

“We had to go on a trip for 2 weeks and needed to find a sitter for our cats at the last minute. We were fortunate to find Chelsea, who responded very promptly to our message. She took great care of our cats while we were away, and even brought treats for them! We felt at ease knowing that our pets were in good hands while we were away, and we came home to find them happy and in great shape. We will definitely book Chelsea again if we need of a sitter!”

19. Ronald M.
“Ronald is the consummate dog dad. I've watched over the years care for his first baby "Pepper" as if she was his first born. Ronald dotingly snapped pictures at all of her first moments and nervously watched as she took her first steps into the water at our local dog beach. Ronald is a loving caregiver of all of things and is truly a gentle giant. ”

20. Elissa F.
“Elissa has a passion of working with animals, and as a current pet owner, she cares for her dog with the outmost care and love. I am sure that any pet owner would be glad to hire Elissa to ensure their pet’s needs are taken care of and provide her care and love for their pets.”
