“Nakita has a way with animals. She is gentle and commands respect from the dog in particular..since cats dont listen to anyone lol. Within a short time of meeting my dog 10yrs ago, she had him walking nicely rather than pulling and listening to commands without raising her voice, with simple and gentle commands. She is loving and the animals gravitate towards her. I have witnessed her with my dog and cat on her giving love to the pets. She follows directions well and truly cares about the wellbeing of my pets. I had never let a stranger take care of my dog and when my dog met her he fell in love with her.”

About: I grew up loving animals, and as an adult have had plenty of variation in our pet collection - frogs, rats, cats and dogs. I have raise two puppies of my own and have cared for two senior pets in ailing health. Young to old, large or small we love them all! I work remotely from home 98% of the time with brief kid school drop offs and pick ups during the week. Animals are allowed to travel with us in the car if they like car rides. I have all hardwood and tile floors and baby which I have found ideal for hosting pets. If we have a guest that likes to get into trouble we also have baby gates to keep them closer to me....and out of trouble. We have a large yard, but it is not fenced. Taking our guest outside on leash is an easy way to keep them safe for potty breaks. You have a little critter that likes to bask in the sun or role in the snow? No problem. We can accommodate those long stretches using a tether or a very long leash.

About: What sets me apart from other sitter is my deep love and appreciation for all animals. I don't just look at taking care of them as another job. I want to build a connection with every pet I interact with and make them as safe and happy as possible while their family is away. I am comfortable giving medication and keeping up with already established training. My college classes end end May 10th. I will have availability anytime of day for longer stays but prefer afternoons and evenings for one time services. I am very good about following client direction and always ask questions to help establish and understand your pets personality and schedule. I am also very respectful of my clients homes and will only enter areas I have been given explicit permission to.
