About: I take very care of my cats and make sure they have a well balanced diet and life. I’ve babysat friends dogs and am very good at following any directions and preferences they give me. Cats and dogs give me so much joy and I always have the patience and love for them. I’m currently working a part-time job and I’m in softball currently, so the most available time I have are Fridays and the weekends at any time your pet will need me. I will be coming to your home since that works best for me, so I will care for you pet just like you would yourself. Any special accommodations you have for me, I will be sure to follow through since it is your home and your pet.
About: I find animals to be a joy and take pride in caring for them. I enjoy being around them and ensuring they’re healthy and safe. I’m currently working full time and I am available anytime after 5PM, to check in and play. I am also free anytime on the weekends. I will be able to fulfill any request that you have in order for me to look after your pets in your home. I make sure to be observant of their behavior to ensure their needs are met.
“Rose was so kind. I’d forgotten to set up the door code for her and after failed attempts to reach me she went back later in the day once we connected. Thanks for going the extra mile.”

About: I have experience caring for pets, especially dogs and cats, since I have had animals at home since I was a child. To me, they are not just pets, but part of the family. I have learned to take care of their daily needs such as feeding, walks, basic hygiene, and most importantly, giving them love and attention. I also understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and commitment when it comes to their well-being. Caring for pets is not just a task for me it’s something I do with love and dedication. 🐾 I currently work during the day, but I am available to care for your pets in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and responsible when you can’t be there, and I am happy to provide loving, attentive care during those times. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I will make sure your pets feel safe and cared for. 🐾 I provide personalized care depending on each pet’s needs and the service requested. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, routines, and any special needs. Pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks (if needed), and affection so they feel at home and loved. In my client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, go on regular walks, get exercise, and receive companionship and care. I also keep the area clean and provide updates to owners for peace of mind. My goal is always to ensure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for, whether they are in my home or theirs.
About: I have a special love for animals and have been relied on by friends and family for many years to help out with their pets when needed. I am able to take care of pets of any age or breed, but am especially good with senior care. I am available to come help out after 5pm during the week, outside of my other job hours, and am available all day on the weekends. We have a fenced in backyard at home for when we had dogs to let outside. We now just have cats, and spend time playing with them, cleaning litter boxes, and loving them.
About: My family adopted a dog five years ago. A couple years later when I turned 18 I got a dog of my own. I Have had her for 3 years now. I’ve always had a passion for animals and even have a non profit rescue with my friend. I work at Target full-time Tuesday-Saturday 7:30-4. I get a 30 minute meal break which I normally use to take my dog out but can easily switch and have it be yours (I have help at home if needed). I am very precise when it comes to caring for animals. If they are on a routine I follow that as closely as possible. My dog could also tag along if requested as she is friendly with other dogs and even cats.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chaska
We chose Josh to care for Jake and Levi while we went for a long weekend. He was excellent! He sent pictures at every meeting, medicated Jake appropriately and kept Levi happily fed. The other 3 cats were pleased with his time there as well! I heard no complaints from anyone 😺😹😽

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chaska. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
