“I want to send yet another BIG THANK YOU to Ayashe for loving on my babies like I do and always caring for them with professionalism and kindness. I have enjoyed working with her for over a year where she reliably showed up to walk them in a timely manner, communicated regularly, and became a trusted part of our routine/household. Even though I booked one walk at a time, I was a recurring client this whole time and could not have done it without her. Thank you so much for all your help and being an ideal Rover walker 🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Marlee is the BEST! Always takes the best care of my Billie! She helps me with last minute requests as well as future bookings, very communicative and always on time! Recommended her 100%”

About: I had my own pet sitting business when I was 16, and have been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life. My sweet baby angel dog of 13 years was special needs (cancer and diabetes) so I am very familiar with animals that require medical treatments and special needs. He recently passed so I’m looking for ways to be around dogs again. I love them all, all ages all sizes all shapes. Please let me meet them. I work from 5am-4pm Monday-Friday (every other Friday off), but I just moved to the area so I’m available pretty much whenever I’m not at work. I will take your pup out for a walk wherever you want, or come play with them and take care of them at your place. Will send lots of pictures.

“Briana has been wonderful with my pup, who can be difficult to walk and has had an injury recently. My dog loves her, and Briana's been so responsible, responsive to requests, and has taken great care of my dog.”

About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover, and currently have a lovable fluffy husky. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Treesa loves pups of all sizes! Meet my pets: Just the dogs! About my yard We have a fenced backyard. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me and Winston at home, join us on walks, and get to spend the day with us! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!

“Dora was wonderful to work with! She took great care of my dog Sassy, feeding her dinner and taking her for a walk on the days I needed to work late. She was very responsive to my messages and sent pictures of the walks. I would highly recommend her to care for your pet. Thanks Dora!”

About: Hi, I'm Becca and currently a mom for two cats and a pup, though I have years of personal experience with cats and dogs. Previous roommates range from Toy Poodle to Pitbull mix, from age 5 weeks to end of rainbow life, so I have had hands-on experience in bottle feeding and potty training to administering subcutaneous fluid injections and everything in between. My apprehensive kitty boy Ashitaka is putting the brakes on more siblings, so I get to satisfy my further love of animals via you! Thanks for looking, I can't wait to get to know you and your animal babes. Stay at home grad student with incredibly pliable schedule, I am a slave to the screen general business hours with incredible flexibility in hours and location, especially with some notice. I have a private fenced in patio that Toast, my Beagle mix, likes to run around if your pup wants to come over. Otherwise, we are happy to go for walks too! I am religious about leashing dogs and not letting them out of my sight.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life, and have helped train puppies as young as 8 weeks old to be ready for adult doghood. I have administered deworming medication, washed dogs numerous times, and love making sure pups are living life to the fullest. I also love being active for high-energy dogs and taking them on walks all around Oakland, exploring different trails, parks, and neighborhoods. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs young and old, and show each of them love, care, and patience as if they were my own. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to openly play in, and a large home for both dogs and cats to enjoy during their inside time. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am typically home all day as I work from home, and have plenty of availability. As I work from home and have flexible hours, I'm available for walks, doggy day care , or boarding all week. I'm flexible with working hours and am happy to accommodate your needs! I live in a house with a fenced-in yard, so your pup can play in the yard as well as hang out inside the home. I love going on walks and hikes all around Oakland and the surrounding neighborhoods and parks, and can provide plenty of play for higher-energy animals.

“Sarah is amazing! Our husky puppy absolutely loves her and it’s clear that she truly cares about your dog. She also makes sure to give you a run down of the walk after which I really appreciate!”

“Caitlin has been great so far! She has come by twice now to walk my fur babe, Augie. She is super quick to respond and Augie is warming up to her. Looking forward to having Caitlin walk Augie regularly going forward!”

About: Hi all, My name is Aiyana, I'm currently 23 and I have always loved animals since I was a child. I’ve had many cats and dogs in my family that became beloved members of the family. Around a couple years ago I began volunteering for horse ranches and stables which are also homes to goats and other animals. My passion to have a career working with animals has only grown stronger and and my future goal is to own a homestead. I aim to give every animal and pet the best love and care possible. I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I will make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable while you’re away! I am able to easily fit pet care into my weekly schedule currently! At the moment, I am currently taking medical classes that are both online and in person so I have a lot of time to petsit! I will always follow the owners steps and advice. If there are any training requirements, disabilities, food, crate, indoor/outdoor schedules needed I will make sure to follow what they say. I usually like to relax with animals and mind my business on my phone or laptop and try to keep the energy calm. I will always make sure food and water are out unless the owner tells me otherwise or to keep them on a certain schedule or something like that.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and 5 cats, I learned how to train and took care of them since day 1, my parents built a pet rescue shelter when I was 10 years old, I learned how to rescue all kinds of sick pets and took care of them with medical knowledges. I own a small business which allowing me work remotely and work time schedule is very flexible, so day time and weekends I’m available, I work Asian time sometimes. my roommate is allergic to pets, my place can’t host pets, this is a pity thing, but I can come to your place be a pet sitter and day care or dog walker, play with them.

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha and I've taken care of dogs for the past 10 years outside of having dogs myself for my whole life. I’ve used Rover for my dog too, so I understand the level of care pet parents look for! I also foster dogs from local shelters from time to time so I’m used to working with all kinds of pups. Let me know how I can help. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I work a few days a week and I’m also in grad school! But I absolutely love taking dogs out for a walk so I get a break too :) I have a fenced in yard and am familiar with walks and parks in my area. I also love playing and engaging pets with toys and training.

“I have a 4 month old puppy name Lily. Had her since she was 2 and never took her outside till she got all her puppy shots. She is my heart. She very obedient and playful. She enjoys and loves her playtime and toys. I work from home so I'm always with her, but my playtime with her is very limited throughout the day. I feel bad when she comes to me with her squeaky ball to play and I can't because I'm on calls, so she'll normally nap throughout the day till I'm done due to boredom. So I decided to try Rover and get her outside for a while, during the times I'm working and can't attend to her. I scheduled a walk with Owen and I'm very happy I did. He's a very nice and kind gentleman. After Lily's first walk with Owen she was so happy. He took her out to play ball at the park by the house and even send me photos. I will be rebooking him again as a regular for my little Lily. Thank you Owen it was a pleasure meeting you and looking forward to having you with Lily many more days to come. Blessings”

Meghan M.

“My dog fell in love with Meghan at first sight, even though she's usually slow to warm up to new people. Pepper, my miniature dachshund, is always excited to see Meghan, whether for a walk or an overnight. When I pick her up Pepper is happy and tired. We call Meghan's house a doggie resort as a joke, because it's filled with toys and treats. Pepper's happy and I am, because I know my dog is cared for and loved (not to mention spoiled) when I can't be there. We both trust Meghan and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog person to love and care for their pup when they need help.”

Karla C.

“Karla is great! She shows up on time and my dog is happy and ready to lay down after her walks with Karla. I will definitely request her services again.”

Luisa F.

“Luisa came last minute to walk chai and I am super grateful!”

“Rebecca has been watching my pets for years. She's very friendly and a pet owner herself. My dog is always excited to see her, which makes me feel very comfortable leaving my pets with her when I go on trips.”

Yun W.
“I can’t recommend Yun enough! As a Dog Walker, they are simply outstanding. My energetic Border Collie, Luna, requires a lot of exercise and mental stimulation, and [Your Name] goes above and beyond every time. Luna is always tired and happy after their sessions, which is a true testament to Yun’s commitment and care. Their professionalism and love for dogs are unmatched.”

Chabot Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sui is great! First off, he responded to my dog walking request within 5 minutes! Very impressive! Upon acceptance, he asked pertinent questions in relation to Django’s mannerisms. Sui was punctual and arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled time, which is definitely a plus in my book! Just for reference, Django is a 70 pound Japanese, male Akita. He is very loyal and protective of his humans and so I’m usually weary when he meets new people. Django seemed to take to Sui without a problem. If needed, I would definitely contact him to walk Django, without any hesitation!

Keira was incredible! Communicative, understanding, and most importantly for us experienced and understanding of our reactive dogs needs! She was able to take our energetic girl out for an hour each day. Our dog instantly felt comfortable with her, and we knew she was in good hands! Thanks so much, Keira.

Julia was the best dog sitter Chico ever had. She spent the entire 2 hours we booked walking, training and playing with Chico at our house, while we were out. Julia was on time, super responsive, and dependable. Chico had the best time. We are so lucky to have found Julia, and definitely recommend her if you want the best for your pup!

I cannot recommend Saverio highly enough as a dog walker! From the very first meeting, it was clear that he has a deep love for animals and a genuine passion for his work. Saverio is incredibly reliable and always arrives on time, which gives me peace of mind knowing my furry friend is in great hands. What truly sets Saverio apart is his personalized approach. He takes the time to understand my dog's specific needs, personality, and quirks. Our Coraline is a rescue and she is very shy and jumpy when she meets new people, but with Saverio she clicked immediately. If you're looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker, Saverio is the one!

I want to send yet another BIG THANK YOU to Ayashe for loving on my babies like I do and always caring for them with professionalism and kindness.
