“It was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience! Ericka sent regular pics and updates. When we got home our dog was happy and content. When we’ve had to use something more like daycare in the past, he just gets really stressed and barely eats. We will be using rover again in the future for sure.”

“Connor (CK) took great care of Roxy while we were out of town for 3 days. He took her on walks and to the dog park, and provided lots of attention. He followed our instructions and took good care of our home. He sent pics and a report each day. She was calm when we got back home — a sure sign that she was well cared for.”

“Mariah was awesome! From the moment she met our dog I knew she would be a good fit—Stella was at ease and loved her. You could tell from the pictures she sent that Stella and the cats were happy and comfortable and that she was taking great care of them. 10/10 would definitely book again!”

“We loved having Brooke over to watch our Junie, you can tell they were good friends right away. We appreciated the photos and updates throughout the day and we came home to a happy and well cared for pup. Would recommend Brooke and we definitely hope to book with them again in the future!”

“Alyssa did a fantastic job watching our dog Thor when we went out of town for an extra long weekend. She showed up on time, excited and prepared for the visit. Sent pictures and updates a few times everyday, which gave us peace of mind. We will be using her again in the future.”

“Traisaun is great. We have 4 active cuddly animals and even when we come home they will go and see if Traisaun is still here! He clearly treats your pets the way you would treat them (and sometimes even better because he puts up with more antics than I do!)”

“We had Darra stay at our house for a week and watch our English Mastiff Tyson. Our dog is very shy but Darra sent pics while we were away, and from the pics, you could tell he felt safe and loved. We had no issues, the communication was great, and we would recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hi! We are Maria and Michael. We pet sit our neighbor's furry friends around downtown Pittsburgh and now trying luck here in Rover! Looking forward to meet your little friends!! I'm a English language student and I have free time on weekdays to walk, visit and host your cute little dogs when you are not available We live in an apartment with great pet facilities and and parks nerby. The apartment accounts with wide space for your dog to play around

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 9 years old and can’t imagine life without them. From volunteering at shelters to pet sitting, walking, and fostering, animals have always been a huge part of my world. Now at 28, I bring over 19 years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments including seniors and pets who need special care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and house sitting. I’m comfortable administering medications including injections, and I’ve supported pets recovering from illness or surgery. I’ve also helped with basic training and behavior support. As a licensed social worker, I bring an extra level of responsibility, trustworthiness, and calm presence to the pets and families I work with. My schedule is flexible thanks to my part-time work and I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s unique needs and routine. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I’d love to be your go-to pet care person. I treat every animal like family because they are. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I take time to get to know each animal’s personality and needs so I can provide personalized care that feels familiar and stress-free. In your home, I make sure your pet stays on their usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and medications. I keep their environment clean, cozy, and calm, and I always respect your space and preferences. I provide lots of love, attention, and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

Central Business District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Brooke was INCREDIBLE. We left our slightly older, slightly anxious dog in Brooke's care for over a week and came back to a happy, well cared for pup. Brooke was communicative, sent great photos, and was generally very sweet and professional. I would definitely book with her again.

We’ve used Sydney as a pet sitter 3 times now. She’s been wonderful every time. She takes great care of our pets and home. She provides excellent updates throughout our trip. She is great at what she does and I look forward to booking her again for future trips!

Trai was just awesome. We booked him for a week long vacation with our giant breed dog and he was great. The house was cleaned up, he was always super easy to communicate with, and even sent this crazy dog mom pictures! He’s just so nice and easy to work with. I can’t say enough about him! I worry he’ll be too booked when I need him again because he is one of the best!

Natalie was great with my senior dog. Being my only “child” combined with her age and some health issues I am very detailed with my instructions and Natalie handled it all with grace. She provided the perfect amount of communication along with pictures each day. Our flight home was cancelled and Natalie immediately offered to help by staying overnight again if need be. That was such a relief that my dog would be cared for when it was uncertain when we’d be home. Would love to book Natalie again!

Maddi was awesome to have watch our senior pups! She was so thorough and kind and I felt very quickly at ease with our dogs in her care. Would highly recommend anyone considering care for their fur babes to book with her and I personally hope to have her again with our pups the next time we need a sitter!

Emmaline was truly a stellar dog sitter! She gave us such detailed reports on how our pup was doing throughout the week, provided ample photos or them hanging out and relaxing together, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know their pup is well loved.

Chelsea was absolutely outstanding! She was incredibly responsive, punctual, kind, and professional. She even came for a meet-and-greet to help our pup feel comfortable and stayed longer than scheduled to ensure she was okay. Flexible, caring, and clearly passionate—highly recommend!

Emma has been amazing! We have used her numerous times and will continue to do so! She is prompt, always sends updates and is amazing with sending pictures! I have zero anxiety being out of town when Emma is around (which is hard when you love your pets so much!) highly recommend her services!!

Katelyn was AMAZING! It was our first time doing an in home sit but she was so accommodating with coming to meet them first and get comfortable around them. They warmed up to her immediately and were snuggled up to her the whole time. She sent frequent updates and was so quick with her responses. We will deff be using her again!! Thank you Katelyn :)

Malik was awesome! He went above and beyond to watch our dog and home while we were away for the week. Pablo had a great time and we could tell he was happy while we were gone. Even though he’s high need and has lots of health issues, Malik took care of him so well that even with the stress of us being away, Pablo’s ailments continued to improve. Don’t hesitate to book with Malik!

Alyssa was such a great cat sitter! Our cat has a weird medicine routine, and Alyssa was able to help us out. Not only that, but we even learned new techniques on how to administer meds from her! While we were away, Alyssa was communicative and always sending cutie pics of our sweet girl. Would highly recommend!

Sydney was a great sitter. Our dog was well cared for and happy and healthy when we returned. Sydney’s communication was excellent, continually keeping us informed on our dog’s day and any issues or concerns that arose. I will happily book again in the future!
