About: My focus is entirely on keeping your pup’s routine predictable and stress-free. As the owner of a reactive 20lb dog (which my boyfriend stays with when I dog sit) who fluctuates between needing cuddles and needing alone time, I don’t just love dogs, I feel that I understand them. I’ve spent years learning to read the subtle body language that tells me when a dog is overwhelmed, in need of reassurance, or just needs a quiet corner to decompress. Because of my experience, I specialize in the "slow melt." If your pup is shy or moody, I don’t force interaction. My go to move is sitting on the floor and letting them come to me on their terms. Whether it’s a well placed treat (diet permitting) or simply offering a calm, "zen" presence, I let your dog set the pace for our friendship. What you can expect: Small Dog Expertise: Growing up with a 5lb toy poodle and now raising a 20lb pup, I’m well versed in the "big personalities" and specific needs of tiny pups. Respect for Your Space: When dog sitting in your home, I am quiet and respectful. I provide a calm environment for your pet, but I’m always ready to transition into full play mode if they have the energy to burn! Safety First: Because I know how flighty anxious dogs can be, I am hyper vigilant about security, harnesses, and environment control. If I am sitting I will spend all of my time on your couch with your pup while I’m working and will be available for mid day or morning walks along with afternoon! Because I have a dog of my own at home, I only dog sit in the dog’s home! Lily was an absolute gem of a house sitter for us while on vacation. I was immediately struck by her level of care and commitment to my furry family. She was timely, communicative, and overall a superstar with superb attention to detail. She handled four animals (two cats, two dogs) without any hesitation. Our geriatric cat who requires multiple medications and special food can be intimidating, but Lily took care of her like a champ. I could not have been more impressed with the service she provided, and I will DEFINITELY be booking with Lily again in the future.
Kiley house-sat my two dogs for three nights while I was out of state, and I couldn’t have been happier with her care! She was extremely responsive, sent frequent updates and pictures, and made sure I knew how the dogs were doing throughout my trip. She handled walking both dogs, including my reactive dog, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while I was away. This was my first time using Rover. What a positive experience! We hired Milica to stay in our house and take care of Ralph while we were on vacation. Milica was absolutely great with Ralph! True to her word, she sent us photos and updates of Ralph every day. She walked him twice a day (even thought she didn't have to) and kept him on his feeding schedule. When we got home the house was in great shape and Ralph was as happy as can be! I really don't think he wanted her to leave. We don't travel much but if we need someone to watch Ralph again, his "girlfriend" Milica will be the one. High praise for Milica!
Danielle is the best petsitter we have encountered. She is gentle, so responsible, and also seems to get our dog’s funny sense of humor. She’s communicative and very reliable. Our dog is a bit reactive, and Danielle brings both an expertise and a sweet patience to working with her. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
Kennedy was awesome. She was there for us when we had to book last minute because the person who was supposed to watch our dog bailed unexpectedly. She was receptive, considerate, kind, and communicative. I should mention that our baby is an English Bulldog. Kennedy understands the different needs of brachiocephalic breeds. And she was able to go that extra mile for us to properly care for our fur baby!
Sage is an exceptional sitter, and goes above and beyond when caring for your pets/home! We can be really anxious about leaving our pets when we travel, but this was the most at ease we have ever felt. Not once did we worry about our cats/dog while away. Sage provided us photos and daily updates, letting us know how each pet was doing. Our pets had excellent care and plenty of quality time. Not only did we come home to safe, happy animals (most importantly), we also came home to a really clean house! Sage helped with a number of house tasks (from taking out trash, picking up waste in the backyard, laundry, and more). We really could not have asked for a better sitter, and will definitely be hiring Sage again in the future.
Kaitlyn was great and my pets absolutely loved her! She treated our home with respect and the house was still perfectly clean when we got home. She was very communicative and sent plenty of pics which were very appreciated. Will definitely book with Kaitlyn again if needed!
We used Kat for the first time over the 4th of July holiday. She was very professional, communicated regularly with us and sent pictures of our dogs. She did a great job over a difficult holiday (fireworks), helping our dogs stay calm. She also left the house neat and orderly, and the dogs were happy.
Kasey and Alyssa were the best dog sitters I could ever ask for! They checked in, sent daily photos, and were willing to stay an extra night when flight back looked like it might not be making it back. I knew my dog was in good hands with them and I would 100% rebook them!
