Information Lexie M. would like to know about your pet
• basic info (age, name, breed)? • how long have you had your pet? • how many hours a day is your pet used to being alone? Crate trained? • how does your dog do around other dogs/animals, strangers, or children? • any behavioral issues I should be aware of (resource guarding, reactivity, destructive behavior, high anxiety, tendency to escape etc) • does your dog have a bite history? • medical issues or dietary concerns?
A typical day
I love a nice long walk to start off the day and can stick to whatever walking routine you’ve already established. I also like doing enrichment activities during the day to keep them occupied while I work. And most importantly your baby will get plenty of cuddles and pets!

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Lexie! I’ve been pet sitting for many years and have had a dog of my own (a senior rescue pitbull mix). I have a lot of experience with reactive dogs and behavioral issues. I’m also comfortable with any size dog and any breed. I know all too well how stressful it can be to leave your dog with an unfamiliar person especially if they struggle with behavioral issues/reactivity. I will always strive to do my best to make sure you pup is happy and safe and that you are comfortable and well informed (happy to send lots of update pictures). Please send me a message if you think we’d a good fit and we can set up a meet & greet :)
Reviews

Lexie did house/pet sitting for us for a week, and she was wonderful! We felt very comfortable with her being in our home, and she took excellent care of my 2 dogs—walked them both every day, sent pictures and text updates daily, and gave the dogs lots of love and attention. We were very happy with the care she provided, and would definitely recommend her!

Lexie took great care of Yogi (and our house)! He’s an older dog with some quirks which she accommodated very well (including administering pills.) Yogi was happy and healthy when we got home. We look forward to having Lexie stay with Yogi again!

Lexie was awesome with our dog! She gave us lots of updates while we were away and we will definitely use her again in the future!

Lexie was amazing! We went out of state to attend a funeral, and while we were gone a severe winter storm came in. She endured a cold house waiting for a heat problem to be repaired in our home, along with dealing with a ton of snow. She never missed a beat and took great care of our 2 dogs and cat. Will definitely use her again and can’t thank her enough for all she did.
