Dog Lover Ready to Meet Dog Friends
I have a long history of being around and caring for dogs. Our family pets have included: a white German Shepherd named Helga, a Great Dane named K'tonnah, Lexie, a Great Dane, Sophie the English Mastiff, and finally Theo, another Great Dane. As you can tell I have an affinity for the giants, but I adore the little ones as well! Additionally, I have helped train and care for a number of family and friends' pets, from a pair of Maltese furballs to a giant fluffy Bouvier des Flandres. I have an especially good report with skittish and shy dogs, being able to connect with them and gain their trust. I have a lot of patience and a lot of love to offer furry friends of all ages, shapes, and sizes!

When caring for a pet at your home, I am careful to learn each owner’s rules regarding their pet and usage of the house, such as whether the yard is fenced in or not, furniture rules, and rules regarding off-limits areas of the house. I am comfortable with crating dogs when out of the house or overnight if that is the owner’s preference.

Elayna did a great job watching my two crazy hound dogs, I received lots of cute pictures and updates and know they were in great hands!

Elayna was fabulous. She took excellent care of my two dogs. She gave me regular updates (with pictures). She even threw my dog a little party for her 14th birthday. I can’t recommend her enough and I can’t wait to book her again. She will definitely be my go-to girl!
Elayna has been a perfect fit for my giant pup. I really wanted to find someone comfortably with giant breeds, as my big guy is around 190lbs. She has saved the day when work has required extra hours, and I know I can count on her to be there during the routine visits. Thank you for being so amazing Elayna! I know Brutus loves you!

Schedule
I work remotely so I am flexible when it comes to availability and adaptability to pet routines, and I am able to spend more time with your pet under those circumstances.

- I prefer large breeds but am always open for love and caring of little ones. Before dog sitting, it is important to know if they have any special needs such as medications or difficulty with hearing/vision. It is also appreciative to know ahead of time if the dog is shy or skittish or has a history of abuse (for a rescue, for example) so as to know the proper ways to approach those pets.
