Kacy can care for
Availability
I am extremely flexible and reliable and can almost always be available for last minute bookings. I work remotely and can choose my own hours each week so I am available at all times/days. I just moved to Pennsylvania (from Texas) so my distractions are nonexistent. When hired, your pet is my only priority. My schedule is first come first serve. I accept day-of requests if my schedule is available. I'm usually awake from 7am-10pm and respond immediately upon seeing messages (usually within 2 hours during these times). When pets require care during 7am-10pm, I always adapt my schedule to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

Each service is open for revision based on each pet's needs. My #1 goal is making sure your furry family member is happy and cared for. PET SITTING - DROP INS (currently not available) Drop ins are largely tailored to the need and expectations of the owner. I expect to spend 30-60 minutes for each visit. During this time, I will check for any messes the pet may have caused, will show them lots of love and affection if the pet allows me to do so, and will feed them as necessary. With dogs, if permission has been given, I will take on a walk if I feel comfortable doing so. With cats, I will tend to the litter box before leaving. If desired, I would love to also send the pet parent's some pictures of their pets. I know I love receiving pictures of my senior dog, Jasmine, when I'm away from her. DOG WALKING (currently not available except when doing overnight visits) I love being outside, especially with the companionship of a dog. I like to walk for an hour or until the dog becomes tired/needs a break from the heat. For dogs that like to tug, I keep them on short leashes by my side and take breaks for them to sniff in areas that I've confirmed have no safety concerns. I follow each dog's cues as to whether to let them explore longer or continue walking. OVERNIGHT STAYS Depending on the directions of the pet owner, I like to stay in the same room that the pet(s) are in so I can monitor them. I largely pass the time by programming on my computer or playing with the pet(s). For dogs, I ensure they are let outside at regular intervals. I remain outside with the dogs in order to supervise them. Giving the pups an opportunity to go outside is the last thing I do before sleeping and the first thing I do upon waking. If the dog(s) have a lot of energy and I have approval from the owner, I may walk them or play in the yard with them. For cats, I will clean the litter box at least once a day/as needed. BOARDING I am not open to boarding since I have a dog who gets anxious easily.
Information Kacy M. would like to know about your pet
Do your pets have any triggers they dislike? This could be a dislike for their ears being touched, other dogs, cats, etc. Knowing this ahead of time is important to keep your pets and myself safe. Do your pets have any special needs? This could be medication/allergies, the need for an extended walk/play during stays, or a special treat routine. Do your pets have anything they LOVE? My puppy, Wallie, can't get enough attention and is always zooming for more belly rubs. Meanwhile, my senior dog, Jasmine, might trade me for one more carrot to eat! Knowing what motivates your dogs and cats will help me make sure they are being properly stimulated and getting the attention they need.
A typical day
I love animals, especially dogs and cats, and would love an opportunity to pet, play, and praise your pawed pals. Each pet is different and I plan to cater to their needs and yours. I look forward to playing fetch and Tug of War with your more energetic companions, or relax in the sun with more laid back dogs. I personally love to play fetch in the backyard with my dog before walking her around the pond a couple of times and coming home to relax on the couch and cuddle together. With my friends' and clients' cats, I play with their toys until they're tired and come over for back and chin scratches. I quite frequently can be found watching TV with a cat in my lap.

Reviews

Kacy is wonderful with our shy and quirky dog! She provides regular pictures and updates about how things are going, so I never worry. She also takes great care of our home while we're away.

Kacy took care of my two energetic dogs for a few days while we were away. She took great care of them, sent us pictures often and asked any questions needed to make sure they had the best care possible. We will 100% be reaching out again in the future.

Kacy is amazing! She took such great care of our dog while we were out of town. She was patient with our very timid dog and fully won her over by the end of the weekend. She also took the time to send lots of photos and updates so we knew how things were going!

Kacy was wonderful! Birch absolutely loves her and he was very, very well cared for. Kacy was extremely good with communication. She shared many pictures and ‘Birch stories” with us during her stay which was much appreciated. Kacy went above and beyond to help with something non-Birch related while we were gone as well. When we returned, we couldn’t even tell that she had been here, everything was exactly as we had left it! We will definitely be checking her availability the next time we travel!
