“Jordan was super flexible, communicative, and took amazing care of our dog while we were away. She made the entire experience stress-free, and we always felt like our dog was in great hands. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve grown up and been around all types of dogs my whole life. I can be active with younger dogs and laid back with senior dogs. I have a private fenced in backyard and a dog park at our building so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and sunshine! We can go on morning and afternoon walks, frequent potty breaks and play with toys in the backyard. The stay can also be relaxing if your dog does not have a lot of energy. Your dog will be under our watch besides daily trips to the gym and occasional errands. All eating schedules and medications can be accommodated during the stay.
“Sarah has come to sit for me twice now and has been great! My cats can have funky personalities and she’s so good at connecting with them and keeping me updated with everything. If she has to come late, early, or change how long she’s there, she always lets me know. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“I'm very glad to have found Lindsey to care for my cats. I returned to find well adjusted and fed kitty cats and cat boxes cleaned. I will most likely use Lindsey again. She was golden ✨️”

“Isabelle is an incredible pet sitter and shows true care and love for animals. We adored the daily photos and updates she shared, and felt so much peace knowing our cat was getting attention and affection while we were away. Isabelle was understanding and flexible with our plans when our trip had a minor hiccup that affected our schedule. She’s a genuinely kind person, dependable and professional. I know our cat will miss having her around!”

About: I’ve taken care of and owned pets since I was 8 years old. I love taking care of them and also know the need of someone to watch over a loved pet while you are busy. Your pets will be in great hands with me. I am free right now to watch pets daily. Also I can watch them over a period of time at my place of yours so they are most comfortable. I have a nice dog that loves to play and also chill around, she’s 6 years old. At the house of a client, I can follow any instructions and visit frequently to ensure your pets care and that they get the attention needed.

About: I grew up around dogs and never miss the chance to offer a walk. I learn and adapte fast to your dog’s needs and personality. I love being active and outside. I’m saving up for a PT certification, so be one pet at a time! I’m currently waiting for w-2 job to start so have a lot of free time in my hands. I know leaving a pet with someone new can be stressful. My goal is to give you some peace of mind and keep you informed on everything we do and how it’s going. Typically fresh bowl of water, litter box is clean at least three times a day (if not more). Grooming every week and brushing their teeth two times a week, playtime outside at least twice a day.
“Marianne did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties while we were away. They were well fed and our long hair didn't have a single knot in his fur. I would highly recommend her services.”

“We use Mark all the time to help out when we’re out of town or have busy days at work. He treats denali so well and makes me feel so much better about having to be away from him! We’ve seen Mark working with other dogs in our neighborhood a few times and Denali always runs up to him tail wagging and howling. We could not reccomend Mark more!!”

“Lucero did a great job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. I also liked Lucero as a person - she is very nice and very reliable. Definitely will come back to her the next time I will need a sitter for my cat! Thank you so much!”
About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. My goal is for you to leave knowing they're safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they'll admit when you get home. Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat. Cozy home, calm vibes, happy tails. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

I am a tattoo apprentice currently, and I make my own schedule, so I am more than willing to work within your needs for whatever works for both you and your furry friend! I have tons of experience with animal care and promise and very hands on experience with your loved on. they will be loved on and completely supervised. I promise to treat them as one of my own!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedar Fort. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
