About: Offering overnight & Extended Stay Boarding for Dogs and Cats – Where Your Pets Are Treated Like Royalty (With a Side of Belly Rubs) Whether you're off on a weekend getaway or an extended adventure, I offer safe, loving overnight and long term boarding for dogs, cats, and any other animals that might need to be looked after. From a young age, I was the little girl bringing home the stray cats, dogs and even the occasional blow snakes pleading to keep them (sadly, I was never allowed to lol). That early passion turned into a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. Raised in what could be described as a miniature zoo, I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs, birds, snakes, turtles, hamsters, and even horses. So, you could say I’ve had some hands on experience with just about every kind of creature, and I genuinely love them all! Your pets will receive exceptional, personalized care, with plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. I have a securely fenced backyard where pups can get some fresh air, stretch their legs, do their business, and enjoy a good game of fetch if that’s their thing. I am a stay at home momma (I do some work from home for my husband’s business) and I have a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will rarely be left alone and will always have someone nearby to go for walks and offer treats, tummy rubs, or a cozy lap. I have two animal loving daughters Hope (10) and Kendall (16) who take their unofficial roles as “assistant snugglers” very seriously (to the point where they will actually argue over who gets to sleep with the dog in their bed). Also part of the household is Buddy, our 9 year old teacup Yorkie. He’s tiny, but don’t let his size fool you, he will sometimes squeeze out a bark or two at new doggy friends upon meeting to establish his “alpha status” (it's a small dog thing), but after he gets that first initial bark out then he’s over it, and he gets along well with other animals, especially with cats. Most of the time, he’s doing his own thing (like sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat) and enjoying the perks of being a senior pup with main-character energy. And last but not least! We also have one small, two legged wild card, our 2year old son Christian (who sometimes reminds me more of a baby raccoon with how much he loves to explore and get into everything, including the trash can). He’s sweet and snuggly, and very smart and curious. He occasionally tries to sneak a bite of dog food or help himself to a dog treat or two when no one’s looking, but don’t worry, we keep a close eye on him (and the snacks!). While we make sure everyone sticks to their own food groups, he definitely adds a little extra character to the house, speaking of which (in full transparency) my home is cozy, welcoming, and full of love… and also sometimes full of toys, friends, crumbs, and the general chaos that comes with raising three kids and a Yorkie with a complex. So while it may not look exactly like a magazine spread as much as I’d like it to, it’s a happy, safe, and pet-loving environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I understand dogs can get excited or overly vocal in new environments. I use calm supervision, structure, and positive redirection to help manage barking and keep all pets comfortable and relaxed during their stay While you're away, I’ll send regular photo and message updates so you can see how much fun your fur baby is having, and rest easy knowing that they are safe, happy, and maybe even a little bit spoiled. About: Welcome to Wiggly Butt Retreat, where dogs are spoiled, snuggled, and adored. I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I am generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, and, of course, naps and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal. I mostly care for one dog/household at a time. If I do take more than one, it's always discussed with owners and I'm very selective about the dogs I accept together. I consider personality, temperament, size, energy level, age, and individual needs because I want every dog in my home to feel safe and comfortable. This is not a crowded kennel or large daycare environment. It is my home, and every dog who stays here becomes part of it for a little while. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I've raised and trained my own dogs, spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience has taught me that dogs aren't one-size-fits-all. Some want to play all day. Some would happily spend the afternoon curled up next to me. Some need a little extra patience before they decide I'm trustworthy. And some need more structure, space, or reassurance to feel comfortable. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's personality and figuring out what makes them happiest. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Because I intentionally keep the number of dogs in my care exclusive/small, I'm able to get to know each pup's personality and make sure they get the right balance of activity, attention, play, and downtime. Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.

About: I've taken care of all types of animals most of my life. Walking, bathing, light grooming, playing fetch, car rides and lots of cuddles. I love them all. Currently in between jobs, taking care of my father and was recently let go from my job. I driver for uber for extra cash and would love to trade that work for being able to play and cuddle with your fur babies. I will follow the pet owners lead of how they treat their pet and adjust from there. I am happy to accommodate to the owner and pets preferences to provide the right kind of care and love for your pet.

About: I grew up in the mountains helping out on farms with all kinds of animals, and I have always had cats and dogs in my life. I have two cats and two dogs now, all very friendly with people and other animals. I'm experiencing watching friends and family's pets short and long term. I worked at a vet for years, and my wife and I have taken on rescues with health issues as well. My wife and I both work 3 days a week each and opposite days so someone is pretty much always home, unless we are on a trip ourselves. I have a good sized house and fenced yard with two friendly doggos, I have a laundry room that is set up for dogs so if your pup needs his own space we can do that. We have a cat that roams the house, but I can keep dogs and cats separated if needed just let me know ahead of time.

About: Ive taken care of cats of all ages since I was 10 and I have cared for dogs all of ages since I was 25. I have experience in training both cats and dogs as well. I now 4 years of training and care for domestic rabbits as well. I have recently stepped away from full time work to care for my daughters during the day and will now have plenty of time during the day and nights to care for your pet when care is needed. I will be available from 10-6 for day care, walks, playtime, and feedings. I will also have be open and available for boarding and overnight stays for those of you who would need that option. I have a fenced yard and two of my own friendly dogs who would love to play and entertain your pup. If crating is needed, I have a crate that can be used for your pup as well. Feeding and hydrating can also be done separately and secluded if preferred.
