About: Ive taken care of cats of all ages since I was 10 and I have cared for dogs all of ages since I was 25. I have experience in training both cats and dogs as well. About: Ive grown up around a variety of animals my entire life, from your standard cats and dogs, to rabbits and chinchillas, to turtles and ducks! I have experience taking care of pets with specific medical needs and those who have limited mobility. Ive been watching over pets both for my family and for friends for 8 years and would love to be able to help take care of your furry (or not so furry) family members! I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah and am in the process of searching for a job, so Ive decided to spend this extra time devoted to both mine and other's pets! At my own home, I have two cats. One cat has chronic pancreatitis and often needs medicine to treat her symptoms, both in pill and liquid form. The other cat is an escape artist so I know how to walk into my home with extra caution to ensure they stay inside. Both cats can be playful, so we use laser pointers, furry mice toys, and worms on a stick to make sure they get their energy out, but we make sure not to use feathers or loose strings that could be harmful if ingested. We also have plenty of scratching posts available, as well as two cat trees for them to climb and scratch to their hearts content. In the case of discipline, my husband and I use a spray bottle of water to help discourage unwanted behaviors.
