From a young age, I was the little girl bringing home the stray cats, dogs and even the occasional blow snakes pleading to keep them (sadly, I was never allowed to lol). That early passion turned into a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. Raised in what could be described as a miniature zoo, I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs, birds, snakes, turtles, hamsters, and even horses. So, you could say I’ve had some hands on experience with just about every kind of creature, and I genuinely love them all! Your pets will receive exceptional, personalized care, with plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. I have a securely fenced backyard where pups can get some fresh air, stretch their legs, do their business, and enjoy a good game of fetch if that’s their thing. I am a stay at home momma (I do some work from home for my husband’s business) and I have a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will rarely be left alone and will always have someone nearby to go for walks and offer treats, tummy rubs, or a cozy lap. I have two animal loving daughters Hope (10) and Kendall (16) who take their unofficial roles as “assistant snugglers” very seriously (to the point where they will actually argue over who gets to sleep with the dog in their bed). Also part of the household is Buddy, our 9 year old teacup Yorkie. He’s tiny, but don’t let his size fool you, he will sometimes squeeze out a bark or two at new doggy friends upon meeting to establish his “alpha status” (it's a small dog thing), but after he gets that first initial bark out then he’s over it, and he gets along well with other animals, especially with cats. Most of the time, he’s doing his own thing (like sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat) and enjoying the perks of being a senior pup with main-character energy. And last but not least! We also have one small, two legged wild card, our 2year old son Christian (who sometimes reminds me more of a baby raccoon with how much he loves to explore and get into everything, including the trash can). He’s sweet and snuggly, and very smart and curious. He occasionally tries to sneak a bite of dog food or help himself to a dog treat or two when no one’s looking, but don’t worry, we keep a close eye on him (and the snacks!). While we make sure everyone sticks to their own food groups, he definitely adds a little extra character to the house, speaking of which (in full transparency) my home is cozy, welcoming, and full of love… and also sometimes full of toys, friends, crumbs, and the general chaos that comes with raising three kids and a Yorkie with a complex. So while it may not look exactly like a magazine spread as much as I’d like it to, it’s a happy, safe, and pet-loving environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I understand dogs can get excited or overly vocal in new environments. About: Ive grown up around a variety of animals my entire life, from your standard cats and dogs, to rabbits and chinchillas, to turtles and ducks! I have experience taking care of pets with specific medical needs and those who have limited mobility. Ive been watching over pets both for my family and for friends for 8 years and would love to be able to help take care of your furry (or not so furry) family members! I am a recent graduate from the University of Utah and am in the process of searching for a job, so Ive decided to spend this extra time devoted to both mine and other's pets! At my own home, I have two cats. One cat has chronic pancreatitis and often needs medicine to treat her symptoms, both in pill and liquid form. The other cat is an escape artist so I know how to walk into my home with extra caution to ensure they stay inside. Both cats can be playful, so we use laser pointers, furry mice toys, and worms on a stick to make sure they get their energy out, but we make sure not to use feathers or loose strings that could be harmful if ingested. We also have plenty of scratching posts available, as well as two cat trees for them to climb and scratch to their hearts content. In the case of discipline, my husband and I use a spray bottle of water to help discourage unwanted behaviors.

About: When you’re away, you should be able to take a load off—not spend your time wondering whether your pets are comfortable, lonely, or getting the attention they’re used to. The moment you leave them with me, I go into dog-mom mode on your behalf. I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own, Bruce and Fiona. They’ve taught me patience, consistency, and how important the little details are. I’m comfortable managing multiple-pet households, medication and feeding schedules, different energy levels, late-night potty breaks, and the individual routines that help each pet feel safe. Does your dog like to be tucked into bed at night? Perfect—I can do that. Do they sleep better with someone nearby? I’ll be right there. Are they shy, high-energy, particular about their routine, or happiest with plenty of affection? I’ll take the time to learn what makes them comfortable. You’ll typically receive morning and evening updates with plenty of photos and videos, so you can relax and see how your pets are doing while you’re away. I’m also happy to adjust based on how often you’d like to hear from me. To me, VIP pet care isn’t about treating every animal exactly the same. It means paying attention, following your instructions closely, keeping you updated, and caring for your pets the way I care for my own. While they’re with me, they become part of my pack—and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m currently an uber driver and I have plenty of spare time to step in and care for your pets as if they were my own. I have a husband who helps with my dogs at home while I’m away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Before a stay, I like to learn as much as I can about their normal routine, personality, triggers, medical needs, and any little quirks I should know about. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, and never put your dog in an unfamiliar or unnecessary situation without your permission. I’m also respectful of your home and will keep their space clean and comfortable while you’re away. If anything seems off, I’ll communicate with you right away—because I’d rather ask a question than make an assumption when it comes to your dog.

About: I have been in the pet care business since 2011. I have experience in dog walking, feeding, socialization, and administering medications. I’m happy to provide these services as drop-in visits or overnight stays. Most of my experience has been with dogs and cats, but I have and am able to give care to reptiles, fish, or rodents. I am currently a student at the NIMA institute and have classes from 12:30-9:30 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Thursdays-Sundays I have an open schedule! I grew up with dogs and now have 3 cats of my own. I enjoy getting outside and playing with dogs, and love to hang out and play with kitties. About: I accidentally went into the dog sitting business by helping out a person from the dog park who didn't have anyone to watch her Giant Schnauzer. I took care of him for 8 days. He did not want to go with her when she picked him up. Haha. That's how much of a good time he had. That was going to be the end of me dog sitting,but this lady spread the word and before I knew it, I became the go-to guy for everyone! I watched all kinds of dogs. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I watched problem dogs, senior dogs, puppies and anything in between. My place is a dog house! No restrictions for furniture, bed use, unless rules need to be applied as requested by the dogs owners. My yard is approx 1/2acre and fenced. I have a full size Truck to take any size doggie to walking and hiking areas. I accept short notice assignments either at my place or your home. My prices on here are negotiable, based on the doggie and/time you need help with. I don't know how to groom (unless brushing counts as grooming??😉),but will love to give baths. This is a single person household and there are no other doggies in the house. I just lost my beloved Great Dane Grace after 12 years, so all my love and affection will go toward your doggie! You will get daily updates most likely accompanied by professional looking photos of your doggie or cat. (I do pet photography on the side) I retired early and am available to stay with your doggie 24/7. I am an avid photographer and rather take your doggie with me on walks/hikes (depending on your doggies activity level/age etc.) than just letting them out in the yard. I know oodles of safe walking/hiking areas and will pick the ones that match your doggies desires. We will discuss details for your doggie upon you meeting me personally. I'm German and super nice! Dogs just love me. Always have. Maybe I smell like cookies. Haha. Who knows.
