About: Offering overnight & Extended Stay Boarding for Dogs and Cats – Where Your Pets Are Treated Like Royalty (With a Side of Belly Rubs) Whether you're off on a weekend getaway or an extended adventure, I offer safe, loving overnight and long term boarding for dogs, cats, and any other animals that might need to be looked after. From a young age, I was the little girl bringing home the stray cats, dogs and even the occasional blow snakes pleading to keep them (sadly, I was never allowed to lol). That early passion turned into a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. Raised in what could be described as a miniature zoo, I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs, birds, snakes, turtles, hamsters, and even horses. So, you could say I’ve had some hands on experience with just about every kind of creature, and I genuinely love them all! Your pets will receive exceptional, personalized care, with plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. I have a securely fenced backyard where pups can get some fresh air, stretch their legs, do their business, and enjoy a good game of fetch if that’s their thing. I am a stay at home momma (I do some work from home for my husband’s business) and I have a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will rarely be left alone and will always have someone nearby to go for walks and offer treats, tummy rubs, or a cozy lap. I have two animal loving daughters Hope (10) and Kendall (16) who take their unofficial roles as “assistant snugglers” very seriously (to the point where they will actually argue over who gets to sleep with the dog in their bed). Also part of the household is Buddy, our 9 year old teacup Yorkie. He’s tiny, but don’t let his size fool you, he will sometimes squeeze out a bark or two at new doggy friends upon meeting to establish his “alpha status” (it's a small dog thing), but after he gets that first initial bark out then he’s over it, and he gets along well with other animals, especially with cats. Most of the time, he’s doing his own thing (like sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat) and enjoying the perks of being a senior pup with main-character energy. And last but not least! We also have one small, two legged wild card, our 2year old son Christian (who sometimes reminds me more of a baby raccoon with how much he loves to explore and get into everything, including the trash can). He’s sweet and snuggly, and very smart and curious. He occasionally tries to sneak a bite of dog food or help himself to a dog treat or two when no one’s looking, but don’t worry, we keep a close eye on him (and the snacks!). While we make sure everyone sticks to their own food groups, he definitely adds a little extra character to the house, speaking of which (in full transparency) my home is cozy, welcoming, and full of love… and also sometimes full of toys, friends, crumbs, and the general chaos that comes with raising three kids and a Yorkie with a complex. So while it may not look exactly like a magazine spread as much as I’d like it to, it’s a happy, safe, and pet-loving environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I understand dogs can get excited or overly vocal in new environments. I use calm supervision, structure, and positive redirection to help manage barking and keep all pets comfortable and relaxed during their stay While you're away, I’ll send regular photo and message updates so you can see how much fun your fur baby is having, and rest easy knowing that they are safe, happy, and maybe even a little bit spoiled. Being away from your pet is hard, but leaving them in loving, experienced (and slightly sticky or crumb-covered) hands? That should be the easy part. I also offer a $20 promo for all new clients that book with me for the first time if you use the link below: https://www.rover.com/sit/kellil04186 I work from home, offering flexibility to take dogs out as needed. Throughout the day, I have ample time to walk, play with, cuddle, and give attention to your pet(s). I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely potty and play for short periods. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome to roam freely indoors. Others may need to be crate-trained (I have extra crates available). Pets are allowed on the couch, and I will follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, schedules, and furniture access.

By Madison’s second drop in visit they were best friends! It was awesome having Madison come to the house for drop in visit while I was gone so the girls were comfortable in their setting! Having a senior dog this was important! Would highly recommend Madison and I will be using her in the future!”

About: We’re a dog-loving duo who bring the best of both worlds to your pup’s care! I’m an athlete who loves taking dogs along for runs and outdoor adventures, while my wife is all about laid-back snuggles and cozy companionship. Whether your dog craves long walks and high-energy play or prefers belly rubs and naps on the couch (or both!), we’ve got them covered. With us, your furry friend will get plenty of exercise, affection, and personalized care. We treat every dog like family and can’t wait to meet yours! My wife currently is not working, so she spends most of the day with dogs we take care of. She might leave for the occasional errand, for 1-2 hours. We usually try to arrange for one of us to be home with dogs we are taking care of, to limit alone time throughout their stay with us. We care for every dog like they’re our own—with love, attention, and a balance of activity and relaxation. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise with daily walks, runs, and playtime, while my wife offers a calm, cozy atmosphere full of snuggles and companionship. Although we don’t have a fenced yard, we live in a quiet townhouse community with lots of safe walking space. There are three parks within walking distance and several more just a short drive away. We also love taking dogs to the nearby Jordan River Trail for more scenic and enriching walks. Your pup will get the perfect mix of outdoor adventure and indoor comfort while staying with us.

About: Privately insured. I’ve always had many different kids of pets and I’m comfortable with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. I have a large three level townhome with a four year old husky mix and some awesome teenage kids to play with if your baby is ready for some fun. I have plenty of space inside, as well as options for kennels. We do twice daily long walks if the weather is good, and plenty of short potty breaks throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and I can give your pets attention, play time and potty breaks as needed. I like sending updates throughout your pets stay so that you have fun pics and videos to see what we’ve been up to every day :) I have a playful, friendly pooch of my own, but he doesn’t need to interact with your pets if anyone is feeling uncomfortable. Cats and dogs are kept separate, and meals and bones are separate as well, with no free access to the kitchen. I have experience with special needs animals and medication management. I have no preference on the size or breed of your babies; we welcome them all here as long as everyone is safe!

About: I have dog sat off and on for the last year and a half! I have dog sat for big dogs, small dogs, cats, pets with medical problems, etc... I have taken dogs to vet appointments on multiple occasions, some scheduled and others due to medical emergencies while owners were gone. I go above and beyond for any pets I take care of and would love to take care of your babies in my free time! I am currently working part time and am enrolled in 3 college classes, one being online and the other two are three hours back to back in the afternoon MWF. I have a pretty flexible schedule with a lot of breaks in between my plans usually. I go above and beyond for the pets I take care of as I am a very empathetic person. About: I have owned dogs with my family growing up and and now my own little family! Mine and my husband’s two dogs are 17 and 15 and I would like to think that is a testament to my love for my fur babies. We also have two bunnies but don’t worry they have their hutch homes so your pets can either wander free in my home or my big backyard that is fully fenced in. I don’t have and special animal trainings except making your pet feel loved, like they are at home and comfortable while their loved ones are away for a bit. I currently work part time so I have plenty of free time but my husband works from home so there will always be someone home except for the occasional errands. We have a large fenced in backyard and they can roam free inside or out. We have two sweet older dogs that basically sleep all day but if they are awake are willing to play.

I highly recommend Sarah M as a pet sitter. She took excellent care of my cats on 2 weekends when I was traveling. She arrived on time, sometimes early, to tend to my kitties. She used her time to pamper them with lots of petting and affection. She followed all my requests and instructions. I was able to watch her doing her tasks and talk to her on a video chat app. I asked her to feed them canned food, which she did. I asked her to give them catnip and she did that also. She cleaned the litterboxes each day. She kept the floors clean. Overall, Sarah is my top choice when selecting a pet sitter.

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Angels Grove

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
