About: I provide calm, home-based dog boarding and daycare designed to feel less like traditional boarding and more like staying with someone your dog already knows and loves. I’m generally home throughout the day, so my guests get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, outdoor breaks, naps, and cuddles. I intentionally keep things small and personal, caring for one dog or household at a time. My goal is simple: every dog in my home should feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for almost 30 years. I spent about 15 years fostering and helping rehabilitate abused and neglected dogs, volunteered as a dog specialist in high-stress shelter environments, and completed animal behavior and handling training through Best Friends Animal Society and Salt Lake County Animal Services. That experience taught me that dogs aren’t one-size-fits-all. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and figuring out what makes them feel happiest and most at home. Most importantly, I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else. I want you to leave knowing they’re safe, loved, understood, and probably being spoiled a little more than they’ll admit when you get home. I am generally home throughout the day, and I keep our daily routine flexible based on the needs of the pups staying with me. Energetic and ready to go? There will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, and opportunities to burn off that energy. More of a couch potato? Laid-back days, cozy naps, and couch snuggles are some of my favorite pastimes! Not every dog wants to do the same thing, and that's perfectly okay. Pups are rarely left alone while staying with me. If I do need to step out, it's typically for a short period of time, usually no more than an hour or two. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority. There are no pets or children in the home, which helps create a quieter, lower-stress environment for dogs who prefer a little more peace and consistency. My family are all dog people, so pups are always surrounded by people who genuinely love and enjoy them. We have a fenced patio/run where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, stretch their legs, and take easy potty breaks throughout the day. I also have a secure lead setup in the front yard where dogs who enjoy the outdoors can safely relax, sunbathe on the outdoor bed, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air while supervised. We’re also surrounded by some of Daybreak’s best dog-friendly parks, walking trails, and green space, including areas near the lake, which means lots of safe, leashed walks, fresh air, sniffing, and enrichment. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require a meet & greet for all new clients to make sure we are a great fit before booking.
About: I’m basically a cat whisperer! I’ve been looking after cats since I was 10, and they have always been a part of my life - everything from tiny, adorable kittens to wise, senior furballs. I offer cozy boarding and overnight stays for your feline friend, ensuring they feel safe, pampered, and totally adored while they’re in my care. 🐾😺 I do charge more for boarding cats than I do for dogs because, while I absolutely love spending time with cats, they tend to have a harder time adjusting to new environments compared to dogs. Cats are creatures of habit, and it can take them a lot longer to settle in and feel comfortable outside of their usual surroundings. This requires extra patience, attention, and care to help them adjust and feel at ease during their stay. I am a stay at home mom so i am available for quick check ins during the day and available to walk your dog after 3 pm when my husband gets home and no later than 8 when my kids go to sleep. About: I have had all sorts of animals since I was born. I currently have 3 dogs(a german shepherd, giant schnauzer, and mini schnauzer), 1 cat(russian blue) and 2 ducks. I know how to give medicine if needed. No animal is too big or too small. I have been pet sitting for family friends for about a few years now. I have always wanted to work with animals since I was in 5th grade so being able to work with your animals will help me fulfill my dream. I will love and care for your pet like they are my own. My family always comes to me when they need help or have questions about their pets. I took a vet assisting class and know a little about wounds and health in pets. Much love and care will be given each and every time i dog sit for you! I am recently retired so i am available often and frequently. I am available most day and evening, 7 days a week with advance notice. I have a backyard yard/patio with a locked gate that is all fenced in and very secure. I also have a small doggy door that can be used at all times as well. I do have the panel to lock it at night and when not in use.

About: I absolutely love animals! I have experience with having up to 30 dogs in one yard and understand their body language to avoid fights and tiffs. I would love to help care for your fur babies to make sure they are happy and healthy! I have open availability mornings on weekdays! Evenings sometime are a little more tricky for me. About: I have many friends that have dogs and cats and I always know I love helping them with their dogs and cats. I started helping other dog hiker to sit and walk the dogs back in 2018, and then I stopped Rover after my pregnancy for taking care of my newborn, during which I still occasionally helped friends sitting their pets. Now my daughter is 5 years old and I remember all the good memories back the day when I sit dogs and cats on Rover. I love to hike on different trails with dogs and enjoy the nature. Dog/cat caring is a perfect job for me to earn some extra while I work from home most of times. I own a house myself with fenced backyard in Daybreak community, which provides a nice environment for dog to play and go for walks. I usually take dogs out for walk at twice a day, and I let them to the yard and every other two hours, sometimes more often. I currently don’t have pets, so your dog/ cat will be the only one at home with me and sometimes my five years old daughter. I’m working remotely from home most of times, so I’ll have plenty time at home with your dog/ cat. My daughter live with me every other week, so she is not going to be in the house all the time. I'll make the best schedule for both of us, and fun plans for your dogs.

About: Ive taken care of cats of all ages since I was 10 and I have cared for dogs all of ages since I was 25. I have experience in training both cats and dogs as well. I now 4 years of training and care for domestic rabbits as well. I have recently stepped away from full time work to care for my daughters during the day and will now have plenty of time during the day and nights to care for your pet when care is needed. I will be available from 10-6 for day care, walks, playtime, and feedings. I will also have be open and available for boarding and overnight stays for those of you who would need that option. About: I've taken care of so many kinds of animals over the years. I was a small animal veterinary technician for 15 years and a horse vet tech for a few of those as well. I loved helping any animal but I was especially happy when they were sick and we could help them get better! I loved working for a Doctor that was passionate about this. I have personally had horses, cows, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and a few birds. I love cats and horses mostly. But I own many different kinds including horses, goats, dogs and cats. Your pup or kitty will have free run of my 1500 Sq ft house (another 1500 Sq ft in an unfinished basement I keep the door closed to unless supervised), including being allowed to come on the furniture/beds, unless you say otherwise. I am 100% caretaker in all that I do. I am a full time homemaker with 2 boys, 7 and 16; with my husband, we are a solid family of 4 that all love animals of every kind. My schedule allows me quite a bit of flexibility to provide a conceirge style level of care, both for you and your pets. I have a completely fenced in yard that is pretty large. I'm very protective of any animal under my care, so I mostly keep them indoors with me until it's time to potty, go on a walk or play in the yard for a bit; in those instances, I keep a close eye, as well as make sure I'm cognizant of the time they've been outdoors/current weather. I am very careful to adhere to any/all instructions given, and if allowed to give treats freely, I only buy the best for my guests. I have 2 kennels if needed, but prefer to have your fur baby cuddle on the couch with me.
