About: Hi! My name is Aubrey. I'm 23 years old. I just recently moved to Texas with my husband, Michael. I am home throughout the day, watching my baby, working online and taking classes online. I absolutely love dogs and have spent my whole life owning dogs and have watched pets for others for several years. Our community has lots of grass areas and I have a spacious yard. I'll cuddle with lap dogs and walk with active dogs. I have previously worked with dog care companies, so I am accustomed to sending updates on cute things your pup does and how he or she is doing through the day! I hope to be lucky enough to host your sweet canine or to pay them a visit one of these days!

About: I have grown up around all sorts of animals and have always loved them! I sometimes feel like I’m a whisperer😌 I have always taken good care of my pets and payed close attention to them. I am currently searching for a remote job. In the meantime and hopefully during said remote job, I will have plenty of time to take care of your loved ones. I have a fenced and spacious backyard for my two dogs. I take them out hourly and let them run around and play. I also feed them 2-3 times a day.
“Lucero did a great job taking care of my cat while I was out of town. I also liked Lucero as a person - she is very nice and very reliable. Definitely will come back to her the next time I will need a sitter for my cat! Thank you so much!”
About: I have taken care of pets basically my entire life. I enjoy being around animals . When I go to other people’s homes, I rather talk to the animals. ha ha I work full-time Monday - Thursday 6 AM to 4:30 PM in the American Fork area. I’m available outside those times to pop in, go for a walk, feed, and visit with your pet etc. I rent and have three cats at home, so I prefer to only care for animals in the clients home. At home we have a toy attached to a fishing pole and we use that and call cat fishing. Our cats love it!

Our home is busy, but full of love, and we have a fenced-in yard where the dogs can safely play and enjoy some outdoor time. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. Since I’m a stay-at-home mom, I’m home with our dogs throughout the day, so caring for pets naturally fits into our daily routine. We have plenty of time for play, cuddles, potty breaks, walks and outdoor time in our fenced yard. I love having dogs around and would love to include your pup in our family’s daily routine while they’re staying with us! For boarding, your dog will stay in our home and be part of our family’s daily routine, with plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, and cuddles. I’m always around to make sure all the dogs are safe with no issues.For walks and check-ins, I’ll make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention and care they need while you’re away. As well as respecting home! No matter what service, I’ll always follow your instructions for feeding, medications, routines and any special needs. I’m happy to send photos and updates so you know your pup is happy and well cared for.
About: Privately insured. I’ve always had many different kids of pets and I’m comfortable with large and small breed dogs as well as cats. I have a large three level townhome with a four year old husky mix and some awesome teenage kids to play with if your baby is ready for some fun. I have plenty of space inside, as well as options for kennels. We do twice daily long walks if the weather is good, and plenty of short potty breaks throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule and I can give your pets attention, play time and potty breaks as needed. I like sending updates throughout your pets stay so that you have fun pics and videos to see what we’ve been up to every day :) I have a playful, friendly pooch of my own, but he doesn’t need to interact with your pets if anyone is feeling uncomfortable. Cats and dogs are kept separate, and meals and bones are separate as well, with no free access to the kitchen. I have experience with special needs animals and medication management. I have no preference on the size or breed of your babies; we welcome them all here as long as everyone is safe!
About: I’ve always had a love for animals and understand that pets are family. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including my own Mini Bernedoodle. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to providing updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is happy and comfortable. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a fun, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! Pet care is something I truly enjoy! Since I work part-time, I spend my days off providing attentive and loving care to dogs. I have a flexible schedule, do not work weekends, and will do my best to accommodate your needs. 🐾 Services I Offer * Dog Walking * Boarding * Drop-In Visits & Pet Sitting 🐶 A Little About My Home I have a sweet and friendly Mini Bernedoodle who absolutely loves having doggy friends over! Creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup is my top priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, all dogs are taken outside on a leash several times throughout the day for potty breaks and walks. I also have a dog park conveniently located near my home and would be happy to take your dog there if they enjoy socializing and you are comfortable with dog park visits. 📋 Boarding Guidelines To ensure the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I kindly ask that: * Dogs are friendly and non-aggressive. If a dog displays aggressive behavior, they may need to be kenneled for everyone’s safety. * Please do not bring your dog if they are sick or experiencing severe diarrhea or other contagious illnesses. * Owners please provide any special instructions, medications, or feeding schedules so I can give your pet the best care possible. ❤️ I understand that pets are family, and I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own.

About: I have helped to raise and take care of my dog for over seven years and I’ve helped to look after a couple missing pets until we could find their owners and bring them back to their homes. I’m a student-athlete in college so I have practice and school in the mornings and afternoons on Monday-Thursday so those days I typically won’t be available until 5:00 pm. I also have practices on Saturday mornings and wouldn’t be available until around 12:00 pm. Fridays and Sundays are usually completely free. I have an unfenced yard but I can easily take your dog out on a leash to use the bathroom. I have a very nice and well behaved mini golden doodle that would love a friend to play with. I’ll make sure your dog gets the food, water, care, and attention that they need to be happy and healthy.

“Sarah did a great job caring for our cat, Oyster! She sent pictures and updates at every visit and made us feel confident that he was in good hands. We will definitely be using Sarah for future pet care!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 6. I’m a huge animal lover so I’d be happy to watch your pets whenever you need me too or would like me too. I currently work full-time for assisted living but would love an extra part time job as things are so expensive nowadays and my paychecks aren’t cutting it sometimes! My husband and I own a pup and 2 kitties. The pup is kennel trained and mostly potty trained (he’s still a pup and therefore is still learning.) the kitties on the other hand are high energy goofballs but warm up pretty efficiently to other animals. They don’t really like dogs but they will tolerate them as long as the dog leaves them alone.
About: I absolutely love dogs and any animal really, and have over 10 years of pet care experience. I can help with puppies in training and comfortable with senior pups and have some experience with administrating some medications. I will love and care for your pup(s) like my own! (There is also a back door I’m happy to let them in and out too!) I have a 10 year old lab named Charlie who is very mild tempered and gets along with anyone. We love going on walks and playing in the backyard, so your pup will be well exercised and played with!

Pet care already fits naturally into my everyday routine since I have three dogs of my own. My schedule is flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal schedule as much as possible so their routine stays consistent while you’re away. I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels and will always treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

About: Hi! I’m Winnie, and I have been caring for dogs since I was 13 years old and honestly, I’ve liked animals more than humans for as long as I can remember!! I’ve grown up around a wide variety of breeds and have three dogs of my own—a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab, and a Doberman—who are currently back home with their dad while I finish dental school (and yes, I miss them every single day!!). Having them has given me firsthand experience with all different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I’ve been trusted by friends, family, and even total strangers to care for their dogs, and I’m comfortable with all breeds!! I’m super dependable, very attentive, and treat every dog like they’re my own—whether that means keeping up with energetic puppies or giving senior dogs the extra patience, love, and cuddles they deserve!! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine!! I’m in dental school just five minutes from my apartment, which means I can pop back and forth throughout the day—so pets are never left alone for long!! I’m usually at school from 8–11, home from 11–1, back at school 1–3, and then home for the evening, which makes it super easy to give lots of attention, love, and care!! I’m available for boarding every single day of the week, and I’m also happy to visit your home during my breaks or free time for drop-ins and check-ins!! On weekends, I usually stay home to study, which means I’m fully present and ready to spoil your pets!! This schedule lets me provide consistent care, plenty of cuddles, and all the love your furry friends deserve!! When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfy, and truly at home!! My apartment community has a fully fenced dog play area where pups can safely run, play, and burn off energy, plus a lovely nearby walking path for fun daily walks and fresh air!! I’m super attentive to each pet’s routine and needs and make sure they get plenty of love, playtime, belly rubs, scratches, and extra cuddles!! I’m also comfortable crating dogs when needed and always follow whatever routine they’re used to, so they feel happy and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own!! I follow feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions closely so pets can stay relaxed and comfortable in their familiar space. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is always to create a calm, loving environment full of attention, cuddles, scratches, and play—so every pet feels happy, safe, and totally spoiled!!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
