About: Freshly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in biology with an emphasis in zoology! As of now I am working full time at Midwest Laboratories, but can't help but miss the animal interaction. Previously I worked as a Vet Assistant and also have prior pet sitting and dog walking experience. I have had very minor experience in training/ working with goats through my time in college. My passion is working with animals no matter what species! I also have experience with reptiles through my time as a reptile keeper intern at Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, Kansas! I have two cats and two dogs of my own. Simba is an 8 month GSD who is currently in training to be a service dog and Apollo is a 2 year old GSD mix. I will have plenty of time for pet care in the evening and I will alternate weeks of boarding care vs in home pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard for pups, although it is fenced I never leave pups unattended! In my house I have 2 cats that are very use to dogs and a 3 year old son. So dogs for boarding need to be cat and child friendly. I am able to follow any care plan you have and meet needs such as dietary instructions and medications that may be needed.
About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by furry family members. I’ve had a variety of different dog breeds — especially those labeled “aggressive.” Because of this, I know every dog has a story and is capable of love regardless of how they’re stereotyped. All animals deserve the same love and kindness as I would give to my very own. I have some experience volunteering at my local humane society & dog sitting for family members & friends. I have no problem tailoring to your animals’ needs and I will treat them with the same love, respect, and adoration that I have for my own fur babies. While seeking a job, my schedule is mostly flexible with the exception of some time to take care of my own dog. During the school year, I am a junior accounting student at the University of Northern Iowa. As my schedule gets busier, I am a great communicator and will dedicate the time & space to care for your pets or redirect you if I cannot give my all for your pets. When caring for your pet I expect to find food with instructions (feeding time, how much food, etc.), treats & how many they can have, toys or puzzles, and any other equipment you want me to use when looking after your furry friend. “Liz did an amazing job with my fur baby Dior. She Mae sure Dior was comfortable with her and gave her lots of love, play time and cuddle time. She noticed that Dior was not eating and she tried everything she could to get her to eat and it worked. Dior fell in love with Liz and her wife. Liz brung along her wife that also keep Dior company with cuddles. They are very nice people. Liz came to my home at did drop in visits with Dior and Dior fell in love with Liz and her wife. I was able to peek in on visits with my ring cam and Dior cried out for Liz each time she left. So Liz came up with a great idea to keep Dior occupied while she was able to leave. She also will discipline Dior when she needed correction on any behavior. Overall, I would recommend Liz and you can trust her in your home. She also arranged for visits with such a short notice. About: I've lived with cats and worked with dogs my whole life. From bathing my grandma's dog to walking pit bulls at the shelter, animals have always been a part of my life. Over the summer I'm looking for work wherever I can take it but mostly open. In the school year I am usually never gone more than 3 hours. I live in a pet friendly basement apartment with air conditioning. There is space for a kennel and other supplies if needed. It's not gigantic is very clean and the complex has a bark park.
