About: I have two dogs right now. One is a yellow lab and the other is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Spaniel is 3 and the lab is 2. So there is a lot of energy in the house. I have experience with walking them both while on camping trips, giving them baths, playing fetch and of course laying on the couch and cuddling. I also used to have an older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I have experience with all ages of dogs. I love to interact and give dogs all of my attention! I have currently just finished my first year of college at Buena Vista University. I am looking to make a little more money for this summer, and this job is something I know I would enjoy. I am not sure how my summer will plan out exactly yet, but I would love to make time and will be flexible! I live in the country with a 3 acre yard. There is plenty of room to run around and play fetch if needed. I also have two dogs on my own that are very friendly and playful, but can also be calmed if needed. I will respect your needs and wants as the dogs owner.

About: I have always loved pets. Throughout my entire life, I have had both cats and dogs, and recently my family adopted a gecko from my stepsister. Pets have always been the center of my day, and I always look forward to seeing my little fur-babies, and taking care of them. With this I have been referred to many family friends to extend the love and care I have for my babies onto their babies. I will always take care of your fur-babies as I would my own. I also am very good at giving pets medicine, as I have done it for a few years now. I am a full time college student at UNI, and I love taking care of animals. Being away at college has made me miss my own animals, so I fill that gap by getting to take care and love other animals, and give other families peace of mind while away. I am super open to any environments, whether it be a fenced in yard, or a yard where I will need to leash the pups/kitties up to take them out. I will listen and obey any instructions the client may give, whether it be for respecting the pets, or respecting the house.

About: I've lived with cats and worked with dogs my whole life. From bathing my grandma's dog to walking pit bulls at the shelter, animals have always been a part of my life. Over the summer I'm looking for work wherever I can take it but mostly open. In the school year I am usually never gone more than 3 hours. I live in a pet friendly basement apartment with air conditioning. There is space for a kennel and other supplies if needed. It's not gigantic is very clean and the complex has a bark park.

I have a wide variety of experience including; overnight care, drop ins, senior cat and dog care, medical needs, special dietary care, and kitten/puppy care. About: Hey I'm Syd! I'm a recent UNI graduate with degrees in Criminal Justice + Public Administration. During this season of life I’ve been able to embrace two of my favorite things: pet care + travel! As an avid traveler myself, I recognize the importance of trustworthy pet care. This is why I prioritize honest and reliable communication with pet owners. Going into my last year of college, I launched an in-home pet sitting business serving the Cedar Valley called Traveling Tails Pet Sitting. Traveling Tails allowed me to grow my own pet care experience and also mentor the 7 other sitters that make up our amazing team! One of my most rewarding pet care experiences was when I stayed with a very timid rescue dog named Coco. Coco was very untrusting at first and would not let me near her. However after giving her time and building trust by hand feeding her, we quickly became friends. I loved watching Coco break out of her shell and feel right at home until her family returned! I’m in a transitional season of life at this time which has allowed me to collaborate with owners to create the best schedule for their pets and their needs. I've lived in the same neighborhood for almost my whole life and feel very comfortable taking strolls around the neighborhood. My mom works from home and is almost always around. We live less than a mile away from the dog park and near a beautiful nature reserve and trail we frequent often :)
About: Like most grandkids, I spent a lot of my time growing up at my grandparents house. Therefore, I was a huge help with my grandparents dog breeding business. From birth all the way till their training certification I was there! I am currently a full time nursing student! However, 3/4 classes are online; so I would love to fill all that extra time with your fur babies! I do live in an apartment that does allow pets, however I do have to pay an extra monthly fee. I had a cat and a dog growing up and miss having animals in the house, but can’t because of my husbands allergies! This will help me get my pet fix! A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
