“Great sitters! I was pretty nervous about leaving my dog, since she is always with me, all the time and I was unsure how she would behave. With Shaun and Kate, however, my mind was at ease! She was so excited to go with them and seemed very comfortable. They have other animals to keep her company and socialize with and they gave pretty frequent updates with pictures (without me having to ask, mind you)! They are just awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to board with them again. Thank you!”

About: I have been involved in caretaking pets through Rover, my private pet sitting business, and through local pet shelters over the course of three years. I have also pet sat for friends and relatives. I am very passionate about the well-being of all animals and have even received training at pet shelters in order to provide optimal care. I have a part time job but can easily provide pet sitting services. My job requires me to work 8 hour shifts two to three times per week. If my work schedule ever interferes with a scheduled visit, I offer additional visits that day free of charge. I love incorporating pet caretaking into my day to day life. About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have three rescue cats and one rescue puppy. I will do everything I can to make sure your pets feel safe and cared for Generally I am available more in the afternoon for afternoons, as I work most mornings. However I may be able to be flexible if needed I will always respect your homes and pets spaces, as it is not my own. While making sure that your pet is always safe in my care.

About: I have worked with and loved many animals throughout my life; gaining experience by working with rescues, shelters and non-profit organizations benefiting dogs, cats and horses in Iowa and Virginia. I have also worked in the pet care industry my whole life. I was a Pet Groomer for 10 years, have worked closely with trainers, supervised daycare & boarding, and have spent the last 3 years in Veterinary Medicine as a Veterinary Assistant. I currently share my home with 3 dogs and a cat. I often care for my parents' dogs; one of which is Diabetic & has recently gone blind.
