About: I have two dogs right now. One is a yellow lab and the other is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Spaniel is 3 and the lab is 2. So there is a lot of energy in the house. I have experience with walking them both while on camping trips, giving them baths, playing fetch and of course laying on the couch and cuddling. I also used to have an older Cavalier King Charles Spaniel so I have experience with all ages of dogs. I love to interact and give dogs all of my attention! I have currently just finished my first year of college at Buena Vista University. I am looking to make a little more money for this summer, and this job is something I know I would enjoy. I am not sure how my summer will plan out exactly yet, but I would love to make time and will be flexible! I live in the country with a 3 acre yard. There is plenty of room to run around and play fetch if needed. I also have two dogs on my own that are very friendly and playful, but can also be calmed if needed. About: For the past 3 years I’ve house and dog sat my brother’s dog while he’s out of town. The summer of 2024 I nanny’ed for a family that had a large dog I was to care for. I also baby sat for a home, family, and Great Dane for a while. I love doing so and am excited to get to love on other’s pets! I work at Lutheran Services in Iowa as a full time family support worker. I work 95% of my days at home, making it easy to house/dog sit throughout the day! Saturday and Sunday I am completely free! About: I've lived with cats and worked with dogs my whole life. From bathing my grandma's dog to walking pit bulls at the shelter, animals have always been a part of my life. Over the summer I'm looking for work wherever I can take it but mostly open. In the school year I am usually never gone more than 3 hours. I live in a pet friendly basement apartment with air conditioning. There is space for a kennel and other supplies if needed. It's not gigantic is very clean and the complex has a bark park.

Typically I will start work at 4:30-5pm going to about 9:30pm and no later than 10:30pm without communication with pet owner. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
