About: I love cats and have tragically never gotten to have one due to family members with allergies. However, I've volunteered at my local animal rescue in Washington with cats, cleaning their rooms, litter, and feeding them. They were separated by groups and I worked with the regular cats, the seniors, FIV+, and incontinent cats. In college I volunteered at a wild animal rehab center in Iowa, which was mainly wildlife but people also dropped off feral cats and kittens. I'm proud to say I got a feral cat to warm up enough to rub against my leg - a huge accomplishment! I worked as a lab animal caretaker in college, and some of the animals being studied were cats with glaucoma. I cleaned their rooms, played with them, and monitored their pregnancies. It was a sad environment but they were very loveable. And I have cat-sat for friends and neighbors a few times in the past.

My husband and I adopted a black lab mix from the humane society. We are training her to be a therapy dog. Growing up I had a variety of small breed dogs. We also have a cat adopted from Cedar Bend. We recently moved into our first house and have a fenced in yard. We also live close to paw park. I can stop in and check on your furry friend, give them a bathroom break, play with them, feed them, and do any other cares you request. We can board dogs or cats on the weekend if they are potty trained and get along well with our cat and dog. I work from home so I am free for daycare. Looking forward to working with you soon! I have a fenced in yard. We have a black lab mix and a cat to keep your pet company. We enjoy all the extra cuddles and play time when we host a pet. I am currently working from home and am able to take care of pets during the week and on the weekends. We are flexible with pick up/drop off. About: Since I was young, I have always been around pets of all sizes. My parents had dogs of all types and sizes which range from a large German Shepherd/Siberian husky mix all the way down to a cute little Cockapoo. We love on all of our animals and treat them just as family, they are our entire world! Throughout the time, I got my fair share of walking the dogs daily, feeding them morning and night (unless they were a puppy that required more) and just being able to love on them all the time! I have raised all 4 dogs alongside my family so I am aware of what to do in circumstances! Walking dogs is a great time for both me and your dog because they get exercise and I get to relax with nature and a pup! Caring for dogs and seeing their tails wag when their owner or loved one comes in the door is one of the sweetest things to see! I'm currently a student at UNI and have a part time job in Waterloo. I have a fenced in yard that is big enough for even large dogs to burn off tremendous energy as well as an open floor plan. About: I've lived with cats and worked with dogs my whole life. From bathing my grandma's dog to walking pit bulls at the shelter, animals have always been a part of my life. Over the summer I'm looking for work wherever I can take it but mostly open. In the school year I am usually never gone more than 3 hours. About: I was a dog co-parent for 6 years, with a small chihuahua-corgi mix that was frankly too smart for her size. I trained her to shake, and drastically reduced her reactions to strangers on walks, as well as reactions to getting her nails clipped. I have walked and dog-sat for family, friends, and roommates since my teens. I've lived in three situations where roommates were away or very busy with grad school, so I ended up being their main dog-walker. I'm a very active person anyway, so I'm happy to get my cardio in while caring for a pup! I'm working part time and remotely, mainly on Wednesdays and Fridays, so the rest of my time is very free besides walking and hanging out with my own dog. When caring for a pet in a clients home, I can clean litter boxes, check food and water, play with the animal with toys or treats if available, and reinforce any ongoing training if the owner gives instructions on what to do. I'd love to let a dog into a fenced yard and run around with it or play fetch, although I'd be nervous in a yard without a fence and would want the dog to be leashed in that case. With a new cat, I usually just wait for the cat to approach me first instead of going looking for it.
About: I've had dogs, and cats my entire life, whether it be the family pets, or my own. I've had and taken care of cats, and dogs. My girlfriend and I currently have two dogs, Harry a 2 year old Husky, Chow, Terrier, Poodle mix. Oliver a year and a half year old Golden Retriever. Pet care is a LARGE part of my day to day life. I try and give my dogs at least one walk or trip to the dog park every day. Our dogs are part of our family. They're very sweet, and loving. My girlfriend and I do not live together so they stay at both of our houses throughout the week. At my house, where I will be boarding clients dogs is partially fenced in, but when outside the dogs are always supervised and tied. I generally stay outside with them while they're outside because I don't think I can be too cautious when it comes to their safety. When it comes to a clients pets, I would be just as if not more diligent. As mentioned, I do have two dogs of my own, however when taking care of clients pets, my dogs will stay at my girlfriend's house to eliminate any possible conflicts. If hired to go to a clients home, I am happy to accommodate whatever instructions and routines they have for their own dogs or cats.

About: Over the past several years I have helped care for family and friend’s pets. I currently have 4 chaotic cats. I’ve always loved looking after our 4 legged friends! Being away at college has made me miss my own animals, so I fill that gap by getting to take care and love other animals, and give other families peace of mind while away. I am super open to any environments, whether it be a fenced in yard, or a yard where I will need to leash the pups/kitties up to take them out. I will listen and obey any instructions the client may give, whether it be for respecting the pets, or respecting the house.
About: I have 12 years experience in pet sitting and pet care. I have also owned over 8 dogs and 10 cats in my 24 years! My family and I have fostered every breed, age, personality of dog you could imagine. I am passionate about caring for these animals the way they deserve! I currently own a chocolate lab, a bloodhound, and a Shih Tzu along with 3 cats. I look forward to being of assistance to you while doing what I love most! About: I have loved animals my whole life! I currently have 2 cats and a puppy who is working on therapy certification. I have worked hard on training with her and would able to take these skills if needed! My cats as well know a few tricks, but they are all happy and cared for. I would make sure your pets are treated with the same love! I would be happy to come to your home and visit with your pets or take them on walks! About: I’ve owned and cared for pets of all kinds my entire life, as well as worked at a boarding facility for 4 years that took in dogs and cats (as well as the occasional rodent, pig or reptile) I’ll treat your pet of any kind like my own! i’m currently working part time from monday to friday and will have most availability on weekends, but i do have a a very flexible work schedule and can try to make it work!
