About: Hello, I'm Rachel! A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: Hi everyone! I’m Rachel. I have one amazing Husky Lab mix named Maya. I pet-sit and dog walk through Rover because I enjoy it SO MUCH! It's so much fun to be able to meet other dogs (and other animals and people!) through Rover. I have over 20 years of experience living with and loving all sorts of pets and hope to keep pet sitting and dog walking for years to come. I work full time from home and I have a somewhat flexible schedule so I can try to meet your pet’s needs. You will also receive photos from me of your pet(s) by text and through Rover so you can see how they are doing! I am very comfortable watching any breed, size, or age of pet, and have over 12 years of experience house + pet sitting for all sorts of animals for short and extended periods of time. I'm willing to work with what needs you and your pet have. Please send me a message to let me know how best I can serve you and your pet! I work full time from home and I have a somewhat flexible schedule so I can try to meet your pet’s needs based on their schedule. I am open and receptive to what your pet is used to or needs and can provide a comfortable environment for play or rest indoors as well, depending on what your pet likes to do.

“Max followed the instructions, was communicative, and, though my cat didn’t seem to warm up too much, Wybie seems happy and healthy, which is all I hope for at the end of a trip.”

“Adrienne was an excellent sitter/walker for my hyperactive Brittany. He needs his walks in foothills daily and Adrienne was prompt with her arrivals and always provided a cute photo of my pup enjoying his walk. This really put me at ease for my first trip away from my dog. I would highly recommend Adrienne for your sitter/walker needs!”

“Shene is amazing! She is punctual and communicates well. Even though I have a fenced backyard and walks are required, she still took Scout on a couple of walks. She also sent pictures and updates at every visit. Highly recommend!”

“My cats loved Kai! They didn't even act like they missed me when I got home, which was a first. I loved the pictures that Kai sent me every day. With their skill set, I feel comfortable leaving my babies in Kai's care.”

About: With 2 dogs of my own, I completely understand the worry of having to leave your baby in the care of another. I offer flexible boarding in my home and check ins/walks! I’ve taken care of various friends and family members pets while they were away, have tons of experience in the pet sitting world (can provide references if needed) and both my boyfriend and I are certified vet assistants! Im currently working part time, have a schedule that allows me to be home a majority of the day, and can provide flexible potty breaks. Living in an apartment, we have access to many parks and various trails nearby! My dogs love company and will keep your pup busy for hours. They are both crate trained and everyone can be separated if needed.

About: I've had a dog as part of my family for as long as I can remember. I would walk, feed, and clean up after them as I grew up. At the age of 16, I found my pup, Tessa, at the Animal Humane and got my first job just so I could have her (Yes, I paid for everything for her by myself). Since then I have had her by my side through finishing high school, finishing my undergrad, moving cities and states. When I was finishing my undergrad I decided to get another pup so my girl could have a sibling especially once I started working full time. I got my boy, Haka, at six weeks old and now he is 6yrs. Growing up I use to walk my neighbors pug multiple times a week. When in high school we had multiple dogs in the household that required extra care and attention due to their different personalities and temperaments. With my dog being bigger than the other dogs in my family I had to take measures to ensure all of them remained safe. This mainly involved having different play times and feeding them separately. For example: One of the dogs was very territorial over toys and would lash out at any other dog that came around, however, this pup was the smallest one so it was essential for me to mitigate the opportunity for a bad situation. This involved monitoring the situation at all times when the toy was out, keeping the dogs separated, or removing the toys altogether. I’m currently shifting to a new career field, so I am at home full time and plan to be throughout summer. I am a very active person with two of my own high energy pups that love to play at home or the dog park and loves walks/runs. I live in a townhome that has a relatively small yard and have a dog door that allows for anytime potty breaks. I have a tall back fence completely enclosing the yard. I live with a mile of two parks and the walking path on Tramway, and a few miles from trails or the dog park. The safety of mine and your pets is the main priority, so transparency is very important. All animals have different personalities, and stress of a new environment can change how they behave so it’s important that I know how they may react so I can put proper measures in place to keep everyone safe.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life from german shepherds to dachshunds . The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. Can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently in masters program and working remote and essentially here all day with them. Plenty of potty breaks and walks to come. Safe friendly neighborhood I have a fenced yard and lots of easy safe walking my neighborhood. I can crate them if you prefer but they are allowed on furniture here.
