About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. I currently have an anxious dog, a cat, 3 tarantulas (curly hair, desert blonde, red rosehair), a ball/royal python, a grumpy leopard gecko, a flock of quails, and colonies of mealworms and dubia roaches 🐛 Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm flexible :) I'm a UoA student looking for some supplemental income. I have access to a car, and am otherwise unemployed. Family-quality pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a small zoo of my own babies. I like to be particularly attentive to pets' body language and cues. It's fun for me to figure out what critters do and don't like, so I can pamper them accordingly. About: My name is Mel! I am an orthopedics PA. I recently relocated to Durango, and doing some rover while I wait for my hospital credentials to come through. While I work with humans, I definitely love animals more. I've taken care of pets since I was a young kid. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. I have two middle-aged dogs and one young cat. I started regularly pet sitting for friends about 10 years ago as a side gig and the amount of pets I now sit has grown and so has my experience with different animals. I consider myself a caring and responsible pet sitter. I know that pets are family and require lots of love and attention. Great frame-worth photos, she went at Rosie’s pace and let Rosie show her around the neighborhood, and on top of that she’s reliable, a good communicator, and a genuine person. Juliette is great! She was able to fit lupine in for a walk last minute which is great because I have a busy/unpredictable schedule at times. She was able to put her back in my home and lock the doors and gates. I will be using Juliette’s walking services often!!
Stephanie has been such a blessing to our home. She has a real sense for dogs, how to relate to them and how to work with them. My little guy has a fearful bent and his response to fight or flight is to fight. This did not intimidate Stephanie as it does many sitters and she was able to work with him right from the meet and greet. They quickly bonded and she’s just been amazing! She’s definitely a keeper!
Makenna was great with my dog Bodhi! He needed some extra walks during the day while I was away on a last-minute work trip, and she made sure that he was well exercised and cared for by the time my partner got home. So grateful for her attentiveness and flexibility!
