About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. I currently have an anxious dog, a cat, 3 tarantulas (curly hair, desert blonde, red rosehair), a ball/royal python, a grumpy leopard gecko, a flock of quails, and colonies of mealworms and dubia roaches 🐛 Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm flexible :) I'm a UoA student looking for some supplemental income. I have access to a car, and am otherwise unemployed. Family-quality pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a small zoo of my own babies. I like to be particularly attentive to pets' body language and cues. It's fun for me to figure out what critters do and don't like, so I can pamper them accordingly. I also like to keep an eye out for any issues that may be preventive or easily missed - it can take a village for dogs too!
About: I am here to love and care for your pets! I grew up with dogs and have had cats my entire adult life. I recently said goodbye to my 19 y/o cat, Nigel. We navigated chronic kidney disease together and as a result I am well versed in senior pet needs, giving meds and sub-q fluids. I understand how important details are in giving pet care and promise to treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am retired so I have many hours to give to spending time with and caring for your furry family members. Outside of the gym and working in some bike rides, I am free to spend time with your pets. I understand the value of punctuality/reliability, a schedule/routine, and social time with your pets, I am an active person so can give as much exercise as needed, am comfortable giving meds, and getting your dog into his/her crate.
About: My childhood home always had at least 2 dogs and 2-3 cats. Pets are and always have been an integral part of my idea of family. Besides my own pets, I have taken care of friends' and neighbors' pets my whole life. And I love to take dogs on little adventures. Seeing the excitement on a dog when just going to the neighborhood park or wash makes the trip so much more fun. I work full time from my home and without set hours. My children are at school during most of the day. On weekdays we like to go for walks in our neighborhood in the early evening. On the weekends we like to go to the city parks and it is definitely more fun to bring a dog. I have a large wraparound yard that is fenced and a dog door which I can close when needed. I like to take walks in the morning and early evening times. Dogs must be kid friendly. I have 2 daughters: a 6 and 5 year old. They love dogs and enjoy the care part (walking, feeding, brushing, bathing---it's fun for them). The girls are at school most of the day so your dog will get a break. We regularly take the dogs we care for to Himmel and Rio Vista park; we are there a lot. I have one female 8 yr old cat who is used to dogs but also wants her space (dog should be cat friendly).

Stephanie has been such a blessing to our home. She has a real sense for dogs, how to relate to them and how to work with them. My little guy has a fearful bent and his response to fight or flight is to fight. This did not intimidate Stephanie as it does many sitters and she was able to work with him right from the meet and greet. They quickly bonded and she’s just been amazing! She’s definitely a keeper!
Makenna was great with my dog Bodhi! He needed some extra walks during the day while I was away on a last-minute work trip, and she made sure that he was well exercised and cared for by the time my partner got home. So grateful for her attentiveness and flexibility!
