I've been caring for dogs, cats, small animals, fish, and frogs my whole life!I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and from puppy to senior. I am able to provide bathing and brushing, manage specialized diets, and medication delivery. I have experience with dogs experiencing anxiety and with allergies, and have managed care for dogs recovering from accidents or serious illness.

We had such an amazing experience having Caitlin watch our two dogs while we were away! She was incredibly detail-oriented, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our entire trip. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We especially appreciated how frequently she sent updates, photos, and little check-ins. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing exactly how our pups were doing while we were away. Caity is a very sweet and hardworking girl who has always been close with animals. She often watched our family dogs and cats while we were away and kept them healthy and clean. Additionally, she’s good with smaller animals like fish, gerbils, and hamsters and has cared for them in the past.

Schedule
I’m available every weekday morning between 6-9am, and every weekday evening/night after 5pm. I have open availability after 1pm Friday through Sunday night!. I’m always up early caring for my own beloved pets, and those entrusted to my care. I am always available for walks and drop-ins outside of my lab hours (10-5 M-Th, 9-1 F). I also offer weekend house-sitting , doggy daycare, and boarding to ensure that your furry family member has my full attention during their stay.

I offer individualized attention to every beloved pet in my care, whether in my home or yours. I strive to maintain your furry family member’s routine as much as possible, and provide an enriching environment that meets their needs. I love to provide lots of play and affection for each dog or cat in my care on their terms. In addition to unlimited potty breaks, I provide all walks needed, and ensure a safe and clean environment.I aim to provide structure and adhere to the expectations of each pet owner in addressing the dietary, cleanliness, and activity of each individual animal. Food containers, toys, yards, litterboxes, puppy pads, crates, and water sources are maintained and cleaned as needed to ensure the wellbeing and health of pets, as I would do for my own dog and cats.

A typical day
In a typical day, I will provide as much enrichment as I can for the pets in my care in the time that I am with them. With dogs, this can include long walks around the park or the neighborhood, food/treat based puzzles/snuffle mats, fetch sessions or playing with toys. Meal times will be kept in line with requests by the pet owners when in my care, to include preparation, feeding, and cleaning and sanitizing of food dishes. Dogs are provided as much attention as they request, to include cuddles and petting, as well brushing or bathing if requested. For cats, I will ensure that they get adequate daily activity through play, and provide meals as requested. Food dishes, water dishes, and litter boxes are kept clean and in good condition. A good session for kitties in my care often will include providing play sessions with toys, giving individual attention and petting if the cats request it, and dedicated attention to medication and meal schedules.

- Please let me know about any medical issues, medication requirements, specialized diets or restrictions, routines, walking and meal time preferences, and activities your pet needs prior to visits or walks. If your pets require brushing, bathing, or nail trims, and are comfortable with a sitter doing these grooming actions, please request as needed. If animals need to be crated or put in specific or separate locations, please let me know as well. I would also love to know what your pet prefers or enjoys for activities and if they have a routine they enjoy.
