“Jesse is helpful, attentive, and my animals absolutely love her. She is patient and firm with my giant Labrador. I'm very grateful for her help.”

“Great communication ! Goes above and beyond when walking my puppy ! Would recommend”

“Allison has been so great with my pup!! She was available last minute and flexible. She’s punctual and loyal. I’m so thankful to have found her.”

About: I’ve been caring for my family pets since I was in middle school and have 13 years of experience doing at-home dog boarding. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes from yorkies to Great Danes, and love creating a cozy, safe environment for them while their owners are away. I have also had a lovable, goofy dog of my own for 6 years now, so I understand how important it is to trust your pet is well taken care of. :) I currently work full time, but the hours are flexible. My work is only 10 minutes from home so I’m able to check on the pets and let them out periodically throughout the day! I’m close to an off leash dog park that I take my dog to through out the week! My fiancée also works remote, so he is able to care for pets that need to be taken out more frequently when boarded with me. Whether your pet is coming into my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and happiness. I default to your preferences for feeding schedules, exercise, play time, and any crating preferences. This way your pet feels with their usual routine!

“Hannah is great with Comet. She’s even able to get him to walk despite him being stubborn at times. She takes adorable pictures of him all the time.”

“Kristen was wonderful and so communicative. She clearly loves dogs and understands their needs. We would love to continue having her take care of our pup and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Melissa did great with Colt this morning! They bonded together very quickly and had an excellent walk in the woods on this September morning before it gets hot this afternoon. I can tell that Colt really likes her and I highly recommend her and will be needing her assistance again to walk Colt in the very near future!”

About: As a Cane Corso owner (x2), I’m used to big dogs with big personalities, but I love pups/animals of all shapes and sizes! Whether it’s a high-energy walk or a quick potty break and snuggles, I always treat your pet like my own. I understand how important trust and routine are, and I’ll make sure your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for every visit. I’m a teacher on summer break with open availability for walks and drop-in visits during the day, evenings, and weekends. Once the school year begins, I’ll be available for evening and weekend visits. I’m dependable, communicative, and will always work with you to make sure your pet gets the care they need! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During walks and drop-in visits, I stay alert to your pet’s behavior and surroundings, and I always follow your instructions closely — whether it’s feeding routines, meds, leash preferences, or crate time. I’ll make sure your home stays secure, your pet stays calm, and that you receive updates with every visit. As a fellow dog parent, I understand how important trust is when someone’s caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.

My education comes from NC State University with a minor in Animal Science, I volunteer regularly with Caring Hearts for Canines, and am a certified Canine Care and Training Instructor though the AKC. I am comfortable giving medications including injections and with basic grooming. I do work as a full time teacher so most of my availability will be weekends and school holidays. Some weekday nights and evenings may be available as well depending on the need. I have a fenced in yard that is close to two acres in size with access to woods for dogs to explore! When caring for animals in your home, I would be happy to follow any requirements to fit your pet's needs including playtime, potty breaks, feeding, bathing, giving medications, etc.

“Mike was great! He took good care of our greyhound while my fiancé was at work.”

About: I grew up with several different kinds of animals at home. My first job was at a pet store and I have continued to love caring for animals since then. I've taken care of friends and neighbors pets for several years. I am comfortable with any pet, as long as they have a good temperament. I am a fourth grade teacher, so my schedule is completely open in the summer. During the school year, my availability is mostly limited to weekends. At my home I have a fenced in backyard and two high energy dogs ( a Dutch Shepherd and a Corgi) who would love a buddy to play with. I also have three children, ages 8-15, who like to help take care of our furry friends. At your home you can expect your pet to be cared for just like you were there, whether they need to be walked or just let out and played with while you are away. Dogs must be crate trained for boarding or day care at my home. This allows me to make sure my pets and yours are safe when I leave the house.

“Sky is an incredibly attentive and compassionate human being. She is a great caregiver as she is a great mother, friend, and person. I would trust her without any hesitation, her word is her bond. If sky says shes going to do something she does it to the best of her ability. Sky loves all living creatures except spiders, so if your furry friend has less than 8 legs, you are good to go with sky!!”

Ashley N.
“Ashley is great with animals. She has watched my dog and my cats numerous times. My dog did much better with Ashley coming over to the house vs. having him stay at a kennel. She came over multiple times during the day to walk him, feed him and to give him his medicine. Even the cats did great with Ashley coming into the house. Ashley has a great personality, she's trustworthy and responsible. I would recommend having Ashley watch any pet you had. She also does great with little animals. My grandkids had some hamsters at the house and she took care of them as well.”
