“Marie is an amazing cat sitter! She took care of our cat Alison for 17 days while we were on vacation and did an incredible job. She’s kind, friendly, and truly loves animals. She was always on time, sent us daily photos and updates, played with Alison, and even brushed him. She’s very responsible and organized, and we could tell Alison was happy and comfortable with her. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter — we’re so grateful for her care and will definitely book her again! Thank you so much, Marie! 💛”

“Tawny was great! I have 4 dogs, ranging in sizes, and they are very high maintenance. she did great with all of them! Followed instructions perfectly, had great communication, and made me feel so comfortable with my pups under her care. I will be requesting her every time I need a sitter for my doggos!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. I’ve always had one of my own. I’m very comfortable and familiar around all types of animals. I currently am about to be in between jobs and my schedule is going to pretty open, so I’m looking for some furry friends to spend some time with! I treat others homes as I would mine. I’m a very clean and tidy person and try to keep all areas I come in contact with fairly clean.
“Yelena was amazing with my high energy huskies! They absolutely loved her, and enjoyed having her company. I’m so grateful for her kindness and joy towards my fur babies!”

“I highly recommend Katie to help take care of your pet. I had some detailed instructions for her and she carried them out perfectly. She took her time on her visits, and I fully trusted her with my dog. I am very happy with her services and I will definitely use her again!”

About: Many years of experience pet sitting. Your pup will be part of our family during there stay. Fenced in yard and plenty of place to run and play or just lay around and be loved on. We have two small Yorkie’s and your pup will be the only other dog during their stay. I work from home with tons of flexibility to cuddle, play, walk, and time outside throughout the day and night. Can provide medicine and various feeding schedules. I have a fenced in yard with two small yorkies to keep your dogs company and play and me to cuddle and care for them.
“Jessica was great! She came for a meet and greet beforehand and then came for the drop in visit. Luna was well cared for and had a little walk and dinner and treats. Luna was a happy girl!”

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was a child. I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require

Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. i am available anytime throughout the week and weekdays for any tight schedules will show your animals extra love as always. i am very reliable aswell count on me with your animals. i am a very calm sitter and i generally like to atone to the dogs mood and what the animal wants to do throughout are time together.

“Nikole was absolutely amazing with our dog! Our Doberman has pretty severe separation anxiety, and we were so worried about leaving her. Thanks to Nikole, my husband and I were finally able to enjoy a vacation knowing our dog was in caring, capable hands. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She stayed with our dog until she was calm and settled, giving her the comfort and reassurance she needed. She also kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Nikole genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and goes above and beyond to make them feel safe and loved. We are so grateful for everything she did and can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Nikole is the one to call!”

About: I have had a dog consistently since I was 10 years old. They are my best friends. I have experience walking them, baths, playing, training, giving them proper medication when needed and just making sure they are cared for and loved. I currently have a 12 year old teddy bear, she has cataracts and is losing her spark, I can't take her on walks like before anymore. I would love to see the joy in other dogs, like how happy they get when going outside or just getting attention when you are working or want a night out! I am used to being on a routine. I currently walk outside daily now and would love to have some company with some furry friends 😊 I have an 12 year old teddy bear dog that I have had since she was 1 years old. She developed arthritis in her knees and hips as she got older. I have to give her medication, she also got diagnosed with cataracts, so she can't go for walks with me anymore.
“Riley is an exceptional sitter! I had to leave town for a couple of days and needed someone to take care of my two cats. One of them has liver issues, and I was quite anxious about leaving her for a few days and someone giving her medicine. However, Riley truly put my mind at ease. She’s incredibly sweet and kind, and she went above and beyond my expectations. She even managed to get my other cat, who doesn’t usually like strangers, to come out to get some pets!! I’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

About: Hello, my name is Milani, and I would love to take care of your pets! I am experienced with a variety of animals, and I have looked after cats and dogs all my life. I currently have two cats of my own! I officially started pet-sitting when I was in elementary school but I have since gained much more animal experience over the years. l have previously worked at an animal shelter where I provided care for cats, dogs, and exotic animals and first learned how to administer medications. I later worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility where I supervised group play and noted behavior and health observations. I currently work full-time as a veterinary assistant at a general practice/emergency animal hospital since 2019. I’ve worked with animals at all stages of life and I’ve been blessed to learn something new every day! I’m very committed to my future career in animal care and I’m pursuing my journey to becoming a certified veterinary technician. Due to my work schedule, we can discuss scheduling when services are needed. On the days I work, I would be able to facilitate drop-in visits in the morning, during my lunch break midday, and in the evening onward. I have more open availability on my days off. I am very respectful of the home’s I enter and will be sure to clean any messes as needed. I am always sure to honor preferences for either letting dogs have free reign in the house or making sure they’re kenneled when I leave.

Jody is absolutely amazing! My pups and cat warmed up to her immediately. Super kind to my elderly schnauzer. She was so kind spending time with them and sharing photos of them. Refreshing their water and following feeding instructions. She even vacuumed after cleaning the litter box. Highly recommend

Kimberly is Hands down the greatest there is! She takes the best of care with my fur baby and there’s no one I trust more. From day one she’s been awesome with him ( he’s a picky and judgmental boy lol) whether it’s walking him or playing ball if he’s being stubborn. Thank you a million times 😊

Donald is such an amazing pet sitter!! We have been so pleased with Donald, he is very diligent and takes his job seriously. I feel confident and relieved to know he can be there when I am not able to, and so appreciative for the notes and amazing pictures he sends our way. Donald allows us to enjoy our time away knowing he is there for our 2 dogs. Our dogs adore him!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
