“Jerry was absolutely amazing! My booking was pretty last minute because I was so scrambled that weekend, but Jerry was able to pull through and helped me so much! Bud looked like he had an absolute blast with Jerry and Bud got taken on so many new adventures which he looked like he absolutely loved. Jerry was even able to pick up Bud for me which saved me so much time that morning and gave him a bath for me before I went to go pick up Bud later that day! Jerry is literally so amazing and I will definitely book with him again in the future!”

“Murphy came home exhausted after a full day of playing in the snowy backyard with Andrea’s dogs and the others she was watching for the day. He was a stinky, sleepy, happy pup! She was flexible and easy going, considering our change in pickup/dropoff times due to the snow and traffic. I will definitely use her again.”

“Benny loved his time with Amy and he was exhausted on the ride back to Charlotte! I really appreciated the pictures as well - Benny seemed very comfortable and loved in Amy’s home. His energy levels are high at times, but she clearly handled it well. We’ll be back when in Wilmington!”

“Erin was such an amazing sitter for our dog, Molly! I contacted her last minute to watch her for the day while we were out of town and she was super responsive and flexible. Molly loved playing with her adorable golden, Oakley, and was very tired from running around her amazing backyard. Would highly recommend Erin (and Oakley)!”

About: I currently foster dogs and teach basic training for puppies/young dogs. I have a lot of experience with high energy dogs. I have worked at with dogs at boarding kennels and a dog rescue in which I have handled a variety of different dogs breeds with many different personalities and needs. I take dogs to wildlife areas and the beaches to run on and off leash if client is confident with their dog listening. I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty flexible. I can work Monday’s to Friday’s and most weekends. I will keep my schedule updated through the app. I have a fenced in yard and monitor dogs when outside. I monitor pets with toys and spend time playing with dogs. If requested, I will provided basic training lessons, but price will vary. I am trained in e-collar training. I also, use a method that is a mix positive reinforcement/treats with repercussions. Method of training or handling the dog is discussed with the client and what training shall be focused on. I am trained in animal behavior and can notice if dogs become aggressive with people or other animals if requested for dogs to engage with other dogs. I always encourage clients to have their dogs engage in activities outside the home to get the dog more comfortable around people, other dogs, and people. Also to be handled walking on a leash and practice good behavior. Unless the dog is extremely aggressive and not good around other people or animals, I believe it is crucial for young dogs to practice socializing. Please be honest and inform me of any medical issues, aggression, other behavioral issues, and what toys they are allowed to have.

“Jess was great at making me feel comfortable prior to our first doggy day care day with her. She offered a site visit, but I chose to do a video call instead for ease of my schedule. Through talking to her I instantly knew she would be a great fit for my dog. Upon drop off, she welcomed me in so I could see where Norton would be for the day. She sent several updates with pictures throughout the day. Norton seemed to have a good time and felt relaxed in her home. Thank you Jess for the peace of mind taking care of my furbaby while we did a day trip. We will definitely use Jess again.”

“Valerie was wonderful with my pup. She sent updates and kept me informed as to how my pup did while he was with her. Her home and yard were safe and appropriate for pet sitting. I am very thankful that we found her to care for our boy.”

“Angela exceeded our expectations and hopes. Our loved Rat Terrier (Matisse) is now 16 and struggling, long walks playful pet-friends is not what our girl needed. When work conflicts interfered with our ability to care for her during a few days, my wife and I were sure one of us would have to change plans. Angela's experience caring for her dachshund gave us hope that she would be an understanding caretaker of our Matisse, Angela exceeded our hopes and Matisse has a new friend. Angela shared that she's taking pets part time to fill the silence left by her dachshund; while this may not a business, caring for an elderly pet with special needs is beyond the scope of play and Angela should be compensated as such. Thank you, I hope Matisse is with us much longer and can visit again.”
