About: Animals have always been my happy place. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve had the privilege of caring for both cats and dogs, developing a deep bond and understanding of their unique personalities. Having spent years with furry friends, I've learned that every pet has its own quirks and needs, but all of them share one thing in common: a desire for love, attention, and connection. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my genuine passion and hands-on experience. I'm not just someone who watches pets — I actively engage with them, whether it’s a playful game of fetch, a peaceful cuddle session, or a long walk to explore the world around us. I believe in creating an environment where pets feel safe, loved, and entertained. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t enjoy quality time with their human, and I take pride in giving them the attention they deserve. Whether it’s providing mental stimulation with toys, helping pets burn off energy with exercise, or simply offering companionship, my goal is always to ensure the well-being and happiness of each pet in my care. Their needs come first, and I make sure to listen to both the animals and their owners to create a routine that works for everyone. I’m more than just a pet sitter — I’m a true pet lover. With years of experience and an intuitive understanding of animal behavior, you can trust me to provide your pet with the best care possible. After all, every pet deserves to feel like they’re part of the family. Currently, my daily schedule revolves around taking care of my mom and my own animals, so having a flexible job is crucial. Luckily, pet sitting is the perfect fit for this chapter in my life, allowing me to combine my love for animals with my responsibilities at home I live in a peaceful, pet-friendly community, where I have access to quiet walks and a safe outdoor space. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood or a quick potty break, I ensure your pet gets the fresh air and exercise they need at their own pace. Inside the house, I’ve designed the space to be a cozy retreat for pets. I have a large, comfortable dog carrier for pets who need a quiet space to rest, as well as plenty of soft bedding and safe spots for them to relax and feel secure. I believe in building trust with each animal, which is why I ensure they have access to everything they might need, at any time — from fresh water in every room of my home to ample opportunities for play and attention.

About: 10 yrs vet hospital experience (8 yrs as a vet assistant & 2 client liaison) Why do I love pet sitting? Because they mean the world to you. I not only care about my furry friends but also their owners. My professional relationship is one you can count on. I have extensive experience with cats & dogs (among other animals). I joined the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant in 2008 at a small clinic in my hometown. I got 2 years of hands-on experience before I took the opportunity to work at the *San Francisco SPCA. I served there 2010 to 2018 as a veterinary assistant. I was promoted to client liaison & grew into other opportunities to work more with the public. In my non-work life, I have cared for: Mice, Rats, Hamsters, Chickens, Birds, Guinea Pigs, Cats, Dogs, & Horses. I thrive on interaction with both people & animals. I look forward to meeting you & your furry friend. My experience administering medication I am fully trained in subcutaneous injections & fluid administration. I am capable of giving oral medication to difficult patients. My career has led me out of the veterinary clinics and into human clinics. I love all earthlings and my skills have never faltered. I look forward to caring for your littles, your bigs, or in-betweens! I usually have plenty of time for my furry friends who need attention. I am flexible around my work schedule as my clients need me. The pet's needs come first. Keeping them safe, entertained, clean, and happy. My petcare mantra: A tired dog is a happy dog. Show a cat your devotion and they'll curl up in your lap.

My cat loves attention and Natalie gave it to her by brushing her, playing with her with toys she brought and cuddling with her. It is clear Natalie loves animals and her job. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hello! I'm currently on Summer break from a Graduate program I'm doing at the Middlebury Institute here in Monterey. I have always grown up with animals in my house (dogs, cats, hamsters, fish!) and have a dog of my own whom is very sweet, gets along with all animals, and is used to being around many animals. I have worked as a dog walker, and have house-sat and dog-sat for many people. I have references if needed. I hope I can be of assistance to you and your pet family, thank you! I'm available throughout the Summer to house-sit and/or dog sit weekdays and weekends. I do have my own dog (10 year old Chihuahua) who gets along with all animals and has accompanied me in the past house sitting and dog sitting that I've done. I treat other's pets as if they were my own. I follow the wishes of the owner's guidelines for their pets while giving them love, lots of walks, and treats. :)

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

“Valery was so helpful pet sitting Fig while we were visiting Carmel for the weekend. Fig felt safe and comfortable with her immediately and her communication and reliability were excellent!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a kid. I grew up with many cats and dogs growing up feeding them, playing, cuddling, and all there needs.I love them all. I started pet sitting when I was 13 and have been providing services like these whenever the opportunity presented itself since. I have a strong caregiving instinct and have always found it easy to emotionally connect with animals. People often comment on my ability to connect with their pets even when their pets struggle connecting with new humans overall. I am experienced in basic training for dogs of all ages and am confident when it comes to setting routine and creating structure during meals, potty, and play time. I am currently working part time and thankfully this means my schedule is pretty flexible allowing quality time with your little (or not-so-little) ones! I am available during virtually all days and hours of the week currently, and will communicate any changes in this availability in a timely manner so as to not complicate any of your schedules in the process. When in a clients home, I am a big believer in leaving it better than I found it. I will do my best to clean up after myself and your pup (while respecting homeowner's boundaries and comfort level of course). I always conduct myself in the professional and respectful way that I would expect a sitter to do for me! I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time to spend walking the dogs on a nice beach walk around time going out and giving them time outside, playing catch, and so on I have a fenced in backyard and two gentle fury friends to keep your doggies company. I live in pacific grove, a very safe community.

About: Hi there! My name is Julie, I am 27 years old and I have over 15 years of experience pet sitting dogs and cats. I have volunteered for animal shelters and recently fostered a senior dog through Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. I am attentive to a dog's needs and can assure you peace of mind while you are away. As your pet sitter, you can be sure your loved one(s) will take long walks on dog friendly trails and the beach, have plenty of snuggles, treats (unless they are on a diet!), restful nights sleep, and, of course, pictures will be sent to you of what fun they are having! If I sound like a good candidate for your special one, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
