“Johemy was great! Excellent communication from time of booking and sent pictures and updates while my dogs were with her. They obviously liked her because they weren't overly excited when I came to pick up like they always are when I come home. She was very detailed about wanting specific details about feeding, going outside, sleeping, toys, treats, etc. and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them. We will definitely use her again. That being said, I probably wouldn't take a large dog because of it being a small apartment but it was perfectly fine for our small dogs.”
“If there is anyone that I would want to watch my dog while I was out of town it would be Chris (she’s also a local Vet tech). She took great care of my child/dog Aldo while I was gone for a few days. She always sent me pics of him having a great time at her house playing with the all the toys and her 2 dogs, always took him for walks, and gave him treats. He usually sleeps on his bed on the floor but when I came back he was sleeping on Chris’ bed... Now he sleeps in my bed every night since I picked Him up!! 5/5 stars and a great person too!”

About: I have had dogs all of my life, all breeds and all ages. We are a family of 6, Mom, Dad, our 12 yr old daughter and our 3 fur babies. We dedicate our time to making them happy and live a full life. We have volunteered to foster puppies through the SPCA and pet sit for family as well. Our home is cozy with a good size backyard. All dogs would sleep indoors and have someone with them at all times since We work from home. We currently work from home so there will always be someone home with your pet. We can go for short or long walks a couple times per day and they have full access to to indoor and outdoor throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard and can separate rooms with baby gates if needed. There’s a doggy door in the garage to the backyard and two separate runners. We have a soon to be 5 yr old German shepherd, a 9 yr old rescue chihuahua and our old man a 10 yr old Shih Tzu. They are spayed/neutered and get along great with other dogs. You will have the option to have your pet sleep in the living room alongside our dogs or in a separate room.

About: Although I have more cat experience, I would love the opportunity to become a dog sitter & work with diverse dog personalities. I have experience in the basic dog care such as feeding, walks, plays, and cleaning. I am eager to learn all routines and obligations that each dog owner would have for their pet. I am currently a stay at home momma, so I have more availability as I am not currently working. Weekends are my most beneficial availability, but can also help on a weekday too! “Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

When we first met, he avoided me and I also avoided him because I wasn’t a cat person. But then after showing up multiple times, he sat with me while I was on toilet and guarded the door. “While visiting Carmel, we needed someone to care for our miniature Australian Shepherd for a day. With no experience leaving Blu with anyone locally, we chose David through Rover. We met David for an introductory visit and he gave us a tour of his excellent facilities, introduced Blu to his own dog and cat, and immediately put us all at ease. When our plans changed at the last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. At drop-off, Blu quickly settled into his surroundings, and the photos David shared showed he was comfortable and had made himself right at home. She responds extremely quickly to all messages and was very friendly and happy to have Bruiser in her house, which was beautiful and very clean. We could tell she had prepared to watch Bruiser and listened to all of our notes and instructions for him. Bruiser can sometimes be antsy when in a new place or with strangers, but he seemed more at home with Athena than at our hotel! We are more than happy with Bruiser’s stay with Athena and will absolutely use her again next time we bring Bruiser to Carmel!”

About: I've had dogs nearly my entire life, enjoying them from puppyhood to senior age. As my kids grew up, I have also taken care of hamsters, bunnies, lizards, turtles, and parakeets. But most of all, I love dogs. My dog Rainie is an English lab, half chocolate/half yellow who loves playing with other dogs, especially other labs. I'm very familiar with the needs and limitations of senior dogs and can adapt our routines accordingly. I only host one dog at a time to ensure everyone gets enough peace and pettings. We can host caged pets at the same time (small reptiles and parakeets). I'm retired and can host your pet anytime with advance notice. My calendar will accurately indicate my availability. My regular routine includes walking and gardening with our guest dogs. I have a large fenced yard and a single level home 8 steps above ground. Your dog will spend most of their time wherever I happen to be and will be given regular potty breaks. Your dog will enjoy romping in the yard for extended periods under supervision, but will not be left unattended in the yard. Please provide detailed feeding and medication instructions and I will follow them to the letter. Tell me about your dog's special likes, dislikes, fears, and behavioral quirks so we can make dog feel at home. Your dog must be able to manage the steps to get in and out of the house, be willing to use the doggie ramp, or be small enough for me to carry up and down. Must be housebroken. Please provide crate if crate trained and more comfortable in the crate. Or, provide favorite bed or blanket. Otherwise, we have a collection of blankets. Please bring your dog's favorite toy. Some large dogs accepted, depending on size, breed, and degree of training. A meet and greet is a must for most dogs. Pit bulls, Rottweilers, and Dobermans will not be accepted under any circumstances. I realize that many individual dogs are very sweet, but as a rule, these breeds unnerve me, and the dog will sense that.

My favorite park is next to my home, and it is our favorite because I can safely let few puppies run there leash free since this park all fenced up.

About: Prior to now, I have owned two dog boutique hotels that I have personally built from the ground up. I am familiar with all kinds of doggies and their personalities. All doggies are special to me and will receive nothing but the best of care and affection. I am currently taking care of pups in your own home unless we discuss and or have made other arrangements. I am also a commissioned artist so I would not be leaving to another job, your pup(s) would be my only concern. About: I have had dogs all of my life, all breeds and all ages. We are a family of 6, Mom, Dad, our 12 yr old daughter and our 3 fur babies. We dedicate our time to making them happy and live a full life. We have volunteered to foster puppies through the SPCA and pet sit for family as well. Our home is cozy with a good size backyard. All dogs would sleep indoors and have someone with them at all times since We work from home. We currently work from home so there will always be someone home with your pet. We can go for short or long walks a couple times per day and they have full access to to indoor and outdoor throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard and can separate rooms with baby gates if needed. There’s a doggy door in the garage to the backyard and two separate runners. We have a soon to be 5 yr old German shepherd, a 9 yr old rescue chihuahua and our old man a 10 yr old Shih Tzu. They are spayed/neutered and get along great with other dogs. You will have the option to have your pet sleep in the living room alongside our dogs or in a separate room.
