I have a large, comfortable dog carrier for pets who need a quiet space to rest, as well as plenty of soft bedding and safe spots for them to relax and feel secure. I believe in building trust with each animal, which is why I ensure they have access to everything they might need, at any time — from fresh water in every room of my home to ample opportunities for play and attention.

About: Hello! I'm currently on Summer break from a Graduate program I'm doing at the Middlebury Institute here in Monterey. I have always grown up with animals in my house (dogs, cats, hamsters, fish!) and have a dog of my own whom is very sweet, gets along with all animals, and is used to being around many animals. I have worked as a dog walker, and have house-sat and dog-sat for many people. I have references if needed. I hope I can be of assistance to you and your pet family, thank you! I'm available throughout the Summer to house-sit and/or dog sit weekdays and weekends. I do have my own dog (10 year old Chihuahua) who gets along with all animals and has accompanied me in the past house sitting and dog sitting that I've done. I treat other's pets as if they were my own. I follow the wishes of the owner's guidelines for their pets while giving them love, lots of walks, and treats. :)

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, I even had a gecko when I was younger. I have lived with and cared for pets my whole life. I grew up with a orange tabby cat, and recently lived with a Bombay and an American shorthair. I have also cat sat an Egyptian Mau and a Nebelung. My friends call me the cat whisperer because even when they say "he/she isn't keen to newcomers, the cat tends to feel comfortable with me right from the start". This is something I love seeing since cats are known to be more picky about who they chose to rub against or get close to. I have also grown up around and cared for a variety of dogs. To list a few dog breeds I have cared for: American Eskimo, Labrador, Golden Retrieves, Huskie, Malamute, German Shepard, Cavapoo, Belgian Malinois, Golden Doodle, Beagle, Wiener dog, Katahula, Mountain Cur, Boxer. My first dog was an American Eskimo , and then my family also had a couple Labs and currently have a Katahula/Mountain Cur mix. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with the care of their pets. I have experience working with working dogs (Belgian Malinois, German Shepard) and caring for them on strict schedules as my best friend has 2 working dogs that have alternating schedules and crate times. My last roommate has a Cavapoo and since I work fully remote I spent the days caring for him, taking him on walks, feeding him dinner, I even gave him bathes though he didn't particularly enjoy them. I love to go for runs/walks and love to cuddle. I promise that if you chose me to care for your pet they will receive all the love I have to offer. I currently work from home full-time with a lot of flexibility in my work schedule, so I am able to take the pets out for walks multiple times a day if needed, and it opens me up to be more available to watch your pets. I am a highly active person so having a furry companion to play with always makes my days better. I currently share an apartment with a roommate who does not do well with Pet Dander so it is best if I care for your furry friends at your home. I will respect your wishes whether you allow pets on furniture or not. I do not mind if they are on the furniture but that is a personal preference and understand the need for consistency with animals. When caring for your pet I just ask that you provide a note of preferred do's or dont's in your home.

About: Having cared for many dogs, cats and farm animals of my own and for others, I offer responsible canine care to pets and owners in Carmel. I have trained and cared for dogs and horses throughout the years. I am easygoing, yet direct in my approach to care and comfort the animals i have and host. I am home most days and evenings. I primarily work from home and I am active throughout the day. I typically take morning, mid day and evening walks with my dog(s) and allow them to have free roam in the house and yard. I am to offer flexiblility with your pets needs at my home or in yours. My home is pet friendly, accommodating and safe, I also have a fully fenced yard with patio, grass areas and gardens. I make sure that food, water, treats and play things are available at all times for all pets. I also set areas for downtime, relaxation and naps inside and outside the house, and provide regular interaction and amusement throughout the day.

Having had many dogs all of my life along with fostering over 100+ puppies and dogs for Animal Friends Rescue (AFRP), and currently fostering for Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (POMDR), combined with my passion for animals, I am more than qualified to provide excellent care for your pets! Prior to volunteering with AFRP, I volunteered as a dog walker for the SPCA for Monterey County for five years. I have extensive experience working with dogs and other animals, am knowledgeable about medical and behavioral issues and have immense patience and love for animals. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was a kid. I grew up with many cats and dogs growing up feeding them, playing, cuddling, and all there needs.I love them all. I started pet sitting when I was 13 and have been providing services like these whenever the opportunity presented itself since. I have a strong caregiving instinct and have always found it easy to emotionally connect with animals. People often comment on my ability to connect with their pets even when their pets struggle connecting with new humans overall. I am experienced in basic training for dogs of all ages and am confident when it comes to setting routine and creating structure during meals, potty, and play time. I am currently working part time and thankfully this means my schedule is pretty flexible allowing quality time with your little (or not-so-little) ones! I am available during virtually all days and hours of the week currently, and will communicate any changes in this availability in a timely manner so as to not complicate any of your schedules in the process. When in a clients home, I am a big believer in leaving it better than I found it. I will do my best to clean up after myself and your pup (while respecting homeowner's boundaries and comfort level of course). I always conduct myself in the professional and respectful way that I would expect a sitter to do for me! I’m currently working part time, so I have a lot of time to spend walking the dogs on a nice beach walk around time going out and giving them time outside, playing catch, and so on I have a fenced in backyard and two gentle fury friends to keep your doggies company. I live in pacific grove, a very safe community.
