About: I love all furry babies! I grew up around animals and have a special ability to have them approach me first. I also have experience bathing smaller dogs and administering medicines. I work full time but I can stop by your house before/ after work, and if needed I can check in during my lunch most days. On the weekends I am more available for longer check-ins. I can do almost anything you request in your home. I am good at making sure animals don't get out, and if they slip by I'm a pretty good runner. My house is not set up for another roommate however.

“I loved Andrea taking care of my cat Billy and the odd menagerie of feral cats that live at my home. She did an outstanding job. She follow the instructions carefully and was able to follow them and feed all the cats and take good care of Billy and the others. She stayed and played with Billy, which he loved. She maintained the litter robot, which is sometimes a challenge. She kept everything clean and took care of them the day I came home so I didn’t have to worry about them. I highly recommend Andrea, she is very conscientious and pays attention to detail and send pics and is really aware of how special our babies are to us and she is very good with cats. About: I am an experienced animal caretaker for pets with a wide range of needs. I had my own cat that later in life needed subcutaneous fluids, pills, and shots so I am experienced with the trickery of loving care while an animal is in a difficult situation. I have had my own high energy dog who needed a high level of engagement for the first six years of her life while also training through leash reactivity and fear behaviors. With clients I take care to listen to what will make the pet happy and the human(s) happy. My goal is that the guardian will rest assured when your pet is in my care. About: I have worked with animals of all types since I was a child! We have always had dogs (German Shepherds, Queensland Healers, Havanese, Terriers) and I have learned to love and care for them all. I was also raised around horses and cats. I am a teacher during the school year and love to work with animals on the side. I am a very active person who loves to run, backpack, etc, and so I am looking to add more movement to my summer, hopefully with your dog! I have taken training classes with my own dog, and have worked with other aggressive and reactive behavior, and can take the necessary precautions if your animal struggles with the same. I love to play, snuggle and brush, and look forward to sending you lots of pictures and videos of your little one! I am a teacher on summer vacation and have all weekdays free for pet care. I have no weekday obligations and can be available to your pet as much as is needed! On walks I am careful to learn about the dogs needs and behaviors, and will happily customize our route to fit them (weather, temperature, reactivity, etc...). I am happy to come and stay with your animal in their home and space so that they can be more comfortable!
About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
