“Maria and Gregory were amazing! They took great care of our Labradoodle Daisy over a long weekend and treated her like Family. Maria and Greg provided updates every day to keep us up to date, and Daisy really seemed to like them evident by her good mood when we picked her up. Thank you Maria and Gregory!”

“This was the first time my dog stays in a sitter's home while I went on a 10-day vacation out of the country. I'm very pleased that Jesse and his son Christopher took good care of my dog. We were able to communicate during my trip using the Rover app and also I could see my dog on screen using Skype video call. Thanks to Jesse and his family, now I feel more comfortable leaving my dog behind when I'm out of town.”

“Denise clearly is passionate about caring for dogs! She was easy to communicate with and made sure our pups were well cared for with daily walks, trips to the beach, and plenty of other canine companions! We felt assured that the girls were in good hands for their extended stay.”

“Cristine was truly amazing and the best sitter we’ve ever had! From our meet and greet, her experience and passion for animals were clear right away. She is incredibly compassionate, deeply dog-loving, and extremely careful and safe (our top priority). During our flight chaos, she was the sweetest, modified, and welcomed Augie with genuine excitement, asked all the right questions, and treated him like her own (even brushing him; he came back smelling great!). We felt completely at ease the entire time. Doggies truly deserve her care, and we’ll request her every time we travel 🥹if she’s not fully booked by then from this very well deserved review! 🐾💛 Thank so much Christine! 🐶”

“Fantastic sitter! Citali was attentive, followed all instructions, and truly helped my anxious dog feel at ease. I felt confident leaving my dog in her care, and he seemed happy and comfortable in her home. Highly recommend!”

“I have to give Marion 5 stars, not only did our doggie love hanging out with her Doodles. We were updated in real time with a bunch of photos and videos of his boarding stay. Definitely using her again for out next vacation. 👍”

“Christina made it super easy. Really fast responses. Good clear communication. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time and came back home wagging and smiling. Very highly recommended.”

“Nina was an excellent and communicative sitter for my dog. She has a great yard and I think my dog already misses it! Nina’s dog Ranie is a great playmate and kindly shared her toys with my dog. I just moved to this area, so I feel really lucky to have found Nina right away!”

“Johemy was amazing with our Daisy! She sent us daily pics, and it was obvious Daisy thrived in her care. Excellent communication from the very start. We would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter! Thank you so much Johemy!”

“I highly recommend Keanu! He was very nice, communicated well, and provided regular updates throughout Paisley’s stay. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Thank you for taking such great care of her!”

“Our pups loved their visit with Shannon! It was one of their first times being left in a new place and they did great! Shannon sent lots of pictures and videos and was wonderful to work with. Completely trusted our dogs with her. Thank you!”
“Samantha was very active with Zoe and kept me informed throughout her entire stay. Her flexibility made my trip stress free and it was nice knowing Zoe was doing good the whole time. I am so grateful to have found her and will use her again in the future.”

“Nicole was amazing! She treated my pup like her own and made sure he was well loved while we were away. She was also great about keeping me updated. She would let me know how my boy was doing everyday, accompanied with a photo of him; this allowed me to not worry about him and enjoy my trip. Thank you Nicole!”

“Asta was absolutely amazing with our Sadie girl. She kept me posted several times a day on how she was doing and sent many pictures which I appreciated. Asta is wonderful with communication and got back to me right away and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend Asta to watch your fur baby and will use her again for future dog sitting. Thanks Asta for giving our girl so much love!”

“Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! I’m planning on returning and rebooking with them!”

“Donna was absolutely wonderful with Fiona! 🐾 She gave her great care and attention the entire stay, and I could tell Fiona felt right at home. Donna kept communication clear and friendly, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and trustworthy sitter — we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have had dogs all of my life, all breeds and all ages. We are a family of 6, Mom, Dad, our 12 yr old daughter and our 3 fur babies. We dedicate our time to making them happy and live a full life. We have volunteered to foster puppies through the SPCA and pet sit for family as well. Our home is cozy with a good size backyard. All dogs would sleep indoors and have someone with them at all times since We work from home. We currently work from home so there will always be someone home with your pet. We can go for short or long walks a couple times per day and they have full access to to indoor and outdoor throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard and can separate rooms with baby gates if needed. There’s a doggy door in the garage to the backyard and two separate runners. We have a soon to be 5 yr old German shepherd, a 9 yr old rescue chihuahua and our old man a 10 yr old Shih Tzu. They are spayed/neutered and get along great with other dogs. You will have the option to have your pet sleep in the living room alongside our dogs or in a separate room.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Carmel Valley
Maria and Gregory just took wonderful care of our dog Jasper. They were kind, attentive and made sure he got plenty of exercise together with their own dog. They sent daily photos, giving us the ability to know he was in safe hands and so we could relax and enjoy our trip. We had total peace of mind knowing Jasper was in a great home, and we will definitely book them again!

Maria and Gregory were amazing! Harley gets overexcited when first arriving and can be off-putting but they took it in stride and I was thrilled to see a sweet picture of her curled up by Gregory within 15 minutes of my departure from their home. They have a lovely home with a great yard to explore and they were careful to put a cover over the gate area that had larger spacing where Harley might slip out. She enjoyed her stay immensely. I received pictures throughout her stay of her snuggling with family, walking with their pup Ruby and overall having a wonderful doggie vacay while I enjoyed my trip. They are such a sweet family and very loving. Great communication and all around fabulous people!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
