She is also very easy to communicate with. She watched my dogs Sierra and Simba. Sierra is a 10 year old golden retriever, and Simba is a 16 year old Pekingese. Simba is blind and deaf. He is a very old dog. She did an incredible job with both dogs. She wiped and cleaned the eye boogers out of my elderly dog’s eyes and changed his diapers (he’s incontinent). She made sure the dogs got so much love and attention throughout the day. The dogs had free range of a fenced yard and were allowed up on the furniture. Sierra loves to hang out on furniture. I currently live with four cats, including one of my own, and my sisters have cats as well, so I’m around different cat personalities every day. I’ve cared for cats of different ages and temperaments, from playful kittens to older, more independent cats. About: I have had dogs all of my life, all breeds and all ages. We are a family of 6, Mom, Dad, our 12 yr old daughter and our 3 fur babies. We dedicate our time to making them happy and live a full life. We have volunteered to foster puppies through the SPCA and pet sit for family as well. Our home is cozy with a good size backyard. All dogs would sleep indoors and have someone with them at all times since We work from home. We currently work from home so there will always be someone home with your pet. We can go for short or long walks a couple times per day and they have full access to to indoor and outdoor throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard and can separate rooms with baby gates if needed. There’s a doggy door in the garage to the backyard and two separate runners. We have a soon to be 5 yr old German shepherd, a 9 yr old rescue chihuahua and our old man a 10 yr old Shih Tzu. They are spayed/neutered and get along great with other dogs. You will have the option to have your pet sleep in the living room alongside our dogs or in a separate room.

I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and energy levels. If a dog becomes tired or overstimulated, I’m happy to crate them for a peaceful reset if that’s part of their routine. I was pretty excited to leave Moon with her because she seemed to understand huskys and their attitudes and shenanigans they tend to come with. She never made me feel bad about moons behaviors and I loved that. Moon had seemed to have a little bit of a rough time because she does not like cats and we both assumed it might be because she smelled a lot around the neighborhood cori lives in. Moon howled and barked A Lot and I appreciate cori for putting up with that. She kept me updated throughout the day while I was at work, sending pictures and Videos of Moon outside and playing with her fluffster Cress. About: I have the most experience with various dog breeds young and old. More recently I have grown to also love and care for cats. Most of my full time experience has been with my personal dogs. Zoe, an Australian Shepard, was a shining light in my life for 14 years. Prior to Zoe I had Max, a sweet and gentle Rottweiler I was with for 6 years. For the past 4 years I've been spending a lot of time caring for the beloved pets and homes of my friends and family. I'm a retired teacher so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do some regular volunteer work with cancer patients a few hours each week. I walk or hike daily and a furry companion would be welcome. It's one of the main reasons I signed up for Rover! About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog.
