About: I am an experienced animal caretaker for pets with a wide range of needs. I had my own cat that later in life needed subcutaneous fluids, pills, and shots so I am experienced with the trickery of loving care while an animal is in a difficult situation. I have had my own high energy dog who needed a high level of engagement for the first six years of her life while also training through leash reactivity and fear behaviors. With clients I take care to listen to what will make the pet happy and the human(s) happy. My goal is that the guardian will rest assured when your pet is in my care. I am freelancing so I can offer a flexible schedule for your pet care needs. My own dog gets and early morning walk then an afternoon as adventure. She's happy to be flexible for my gigs and open to sharing if that's an option for you once I know your dog well. I have a number of local spots where I enjoy visiting. This area is rich with places to sniff and explore and I look forward to doing so with your pet! I have the option of a crate and personal room for your pet to stay with all the amenities for fun safe pet time

About: For boarding pets successfully I bring organization and attention to detail to the table. I work with all ages, breeds and sizes of dogs, and all types of pets. I will follow your detailed feeding & medication instructions to the letter! I have many years of experience successfully caring for pets. Your pet will play with their own fav toys & have unlimited potty breaks in fenced yard, as well as get treats along the way. ***Best times for drop-off/pick up & meet-and-greet: anytime after 4:30pm Mon-Fri, and anytime Sat/Sun*** You are encouraged to send your dog’s fav blanket, dog-bed, crate or whatever will help your pet feel comfortable. There is plenty of room here to set up even an XXl crate or dog bed. Or, your dog can sleep on the couch! Either way they will be comfortable. In winter - electric blanket available on low setting. Yard: Solid 6-ft fence = totally secure, fully fenced yard. House: doggy door leading to fenced back yard is available. Totally fenced dog-run on site for fetch, evening zoomies. Screened front door provides extra barrier to outside.

I'm semi-retired and take advantage of our beautiful central coast daily, either walking, hiking, or playing on the beach. We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

She is patient and understanding with all types of dogs, and keeps you updated on everything about your dog while you’re away. “Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions!
